Recommended Customer Reviews

Have used Sam and his staff on a few occasions for shower repairs and installation for Kitchen sink and garbage disposal. The staff were polite, professional and on time. The pricing was as quoted and we were very satisfied with the completed jobs. They are a family owned business that takes pride in their work and finds solutions that help the customer without additional costs. Would use them again in the future.

We have used Tri-Care Services since 2015 and I can't imagine having a different plumber or service. Kelly and they office team are professional, accommodating, and communicate well! Prices/fees are clearly explained. Each plumber has been timely, professional, and always completed the job. We had some laundry room repairs during a remodel that needed rapid response to prevent the remodel from slowing and they came same day! In our new home the dishwasher leaked everywhere on the first night of our move in. They arrived the next morning 830 am. With other services like the water softener, we set a mutually agreed time/date and as in all instances 2015-2021 on time and on budget. We highly recommend Tri-Care Services.

This interaction started off good. Kelly, who made the appoint and was our phone contact, is pleasant. George, the technician, who serviced our heater is knowledgeable and fixed the initial problem. He even tried to be helpful. Here is where things go wrong. George noticed that our main valve inside the garage attached to our Culligan water system was leaking. He asked if I wanted him to fix/replace it while he was here. I said, """"yes"""". In the process, he broke the PC piping and didn't have the same size on his truck. At this point, I asked if he just wanted me to call Culligan and have them take care of it. He said, """"No, we""""ll take care of it. I was trying to be nice and this is what happens."""" I told him I appreciated it. George ended up having to go somewhere on Nebraska Avenue to get the part. He returned 1 1/4 hours later and fixed the pipe. I thanked him and was ready to settle the bill. It was $357.50. This included the pipe and the time it took to get it. Okay, I understand he was trying to be helpful and inadvertently broke something, but should I be penalized. I called the office to see if we could at least meet in the middle because I did ask about calling Culligan to correct the problem. Sam answered the phone. He was not willing to consider anything I had to say. """"Ma'am, it was your pipe. We don't carry that size on the truck. How old is your house?"""" I told Sam our system was not as old as the house; we put it in after we purchased from the previous owners. """"Then, how long has it been sitting in the sun?"""" It's not in the sun; our system is in our garage. That's when he raised his voice and when I asked him to lower it, he said he couldn't hear well and had to speak loudly. This was not the case at the beginning of our conversation. I realized Sam was not willing to listen to my concerns and was set on charging me for their mistake - no compromising. The conversation ended with me stating I would pay because I wasn't going to make this a bigger issue for me. He could unequivocally know his company would never do work at our house or for me again. Our neighbors network - I will share my experience.

Sam and his staff are true experts in their field. His integrity and professionalism are second to none. As a fellow business owner I appreciate when someone explains what he's going to do and how he's going to do it. Tri Care Services will do whatever it takes to earn your business for life! I highly recommend them!

Pros: 1. The company was responsive and was able to get a plumber to our home within a couple of hours of calling them on a Saturday (on an emergency basis - $150/hr with a 1 hour minimum). 2. Our technician, Izzy, was a very nice gentleman. He was kind, knowledgeable and did a nice job. Cons: 1. Our technician did not have the CPVC to complete the job on Saturday night. He was able to put a CPVC cap for the night to temporarily fix the problem for the night but had to come back the next morning. 2. Because our technician did not have the materials (basic parts), we were charged $150 per hour for the technician to drive to a store to buy replacement parts. This drove up the cost of time/labor. For 45-60 mins of actual work to fix the plumbing problem, they charged $262 for labor. They reused the same black value (in the picture) that we had on the house so the only parts needed was the CPVC. Total cost was $292 when I believe it should have been more reasonable - $150 (hr minimum) + $30 in parts. Up-charging customers for addition time because your technician did not have basic CPVC parts on his truck is ridiculous. Tri-Care is a great choice when you are planning future plumbing needs (I'll likely use them again) but for an emergency service, make sure to provide as much detail (i.e. - send pictures, be extremely detailed when requesting emergency services) to prevent running into my situation/circumstance.

Tri-care service is incompetent in solving our problem. We did not have hot shower at the Master bathroom after our purchase of the house in FEB 2021. Tri-care came in end of May and determined the circulation pump was bad, though we told him that the valve was not working - no temperature adjustment at the shower. Tri-care replaced the pump, the problem was NOT resolved but WORSE. Tri-care then blame on the """"cross water line"""" at the Master bath that we have to knock down the tiled walls to find out! This is hard to believe since this house was built by a famous builder and was in use for years! We worked with a different Plumber, we pull the valve out - its full of corrosion! We replaced the valve and we finally can take a shower! Tri-care does NOT know what they are doing, unprofessional when they are not capable of solving problems!

Used for a gas isolation valve to be installed for a drying as it switched from electric to gas. Price was fair for a quick job, local """"master"""" plumber was charging three times for this 30 minute job not including parts so gave them a try. Showed up early but called ahead. Was disappointed that they did not show up with part that was told I did not have and they would need to bring, but was not charged for time to go get part so that's fine. Technician also spotted some items that recent home inspection did not catch will be a job for me and Home Depot but thankful all the same. Will be my first call if I need help on any of the projects or have something I am not comfortable doing myself. Thanks guys! I have a dryer that works well and no gas leaks. Also after hours phone was great for my schedule.

If anyone is looking for a plumbing company to do any work DO NOT call TriCare Services in Wesley Chapel. They are horrible. All the owner talks about is how he is this and that and his wife who you schedule service through is rude. All they want is your money and they will not do anything to work with you or help you out in anyway. They also advertise about giving a military discount but you must be on active duty to get it. Again DO NOT hire this company. You will be sorry. I have paid them 700.00 to finally end up replacing my hot water heater. After I had already paid them 360.00 I asked them if they could cut me a break and help me out and I was told by the owners wife that they have to pay there bills and I could always go with another company if I didn't like they way they do business

I had an intermittent issue with my Rinnai Tankless Water Heater that I could not nail down. Called Tri-Care at 9:15 in the morning and just after 10:00 the technician arrived. He was able to diagnose the issue and repair all in the same trip, after the repair he explained what the issue was which made me feel a lot better about not being able to repair it myself.

I called Tri-Care Services since they were officially authorized by Rinnai to install my Rinnai tankless gas water heater. They give me an estimate over the phone to replace my old tankless gas water heater. It was a straight replacement and it took them less than 1.45 hrs to complete the job. I bought the Rinnai water heater through Amazon and Tri-Care Services installed it for me. Parts and labor was very reasonably. I called other plumbing companies to give me an estimate they were over $2 K using yelp and gave the same details for the replacement job. Be careful with companies they can rip you off (steal your money). Do your research through the internet how much is the job your asking to do within your area before calling for estimates. You will be shocked how many companies are thieves. Overall, I highly recommend Tri-Care Services for their job quality, quick respond and installation. Again, they were honest and priced correctly for the job performed. They also told me about the rebate through the gas company but I already knew that from the Rinnai website.
