Vikki R.After verifying with TriCare Services that they would install an A.O. Smith water heater, I hired them and they said they'd be out today. When the guy started flushing the tank, I asked why he was doing that when they would just be hauling it away. He said that it was full of sediment and showed me the particles on his hands. I asked if, now that the water heater had been flushed out, would the leaking stop and would it still need to be replaced. He got angry with me and said he wasn't going to explain the whole subject of plumbing with me and that he was there to replace, not repair. He took the old heater out and brought in the new one where I saw that it was not an A.O. White as I had been promised. He told me they are made by the same people. (This is a lie.)I went inside and googled the brand's reviews. Amazon gave them an average of 3-1/2 starts and consumer advise gave them 2 stars. A.O. White got 4-1/2 stars. I called the office and she told me she wasn't aware that there had been a change and would call me back. I went out, the guy was livid! He said """"You called my boss!"""" I said """" Of course I did! I was told one brand and given another with horrible reviews!"""" He said he doesn't care about reviews. I said I did. His boss told him to take that one back to the truck. They told me there are no A.O. White water heaters in the state. I told them Lowe's has them. They said that if they bought it, it would be registered in their name and I wouldn't have the warranty. I said that lots of contractors buy appliances there and don't seem to have a problem. They said this is different. So. Now I'm without hot water. They said it may be next week before they can get one. And when I went outside, I found the old water heater sitting in my driveway! He didn't haul it away. I had to manhandle it out to the curb. I cut my hand.
Tri-care service is incompetent in solving our problem. We did not have hot shower at the Master bathroom after our purchase of the house in FEB 2021. Tri-care came in end of May and determined the circulation pump was bad, though we told him that the valve was not working - no temperature adjustment at the shower. Tri-care replaced the pump, the problem was NOT resolved but WORSE. Tri-care then blame on the """"cross water line"""" at the Master bath that we have to knock down the tiled walls to find out! This is hard to believe since this house was built by a famous builder and was in use for years! We worked with a different Plumber, we pull the valve out - its full of corrosion! We replaced the valve and we finally can take a shower! Tri-care does NOT know what they are doing, unprofessional when they are not capable of solving problems!
I called Tri-Care Services since they were officially authorized by Rinnai to install my Rinnai tankless gas water heater. They give me an estimate over the phone to replace my old tankless gas water heater. It was a straight replacement and it took them less than 1.45 hrs to complete the job. I bought the Rinnai water heater through Amazon and Tri-Care Services installed it for me. Parts and labor was very reasonably. I called other plumbing companies to give me an estimate they were over $2 K using yelp and gave the same details for the replacement job. Be careful with companies they can rip you off (steal your money). Do your research through the internet how much is the job your asking to do within your area before calling for estimates. You will be shocked how many companies are thieves. Overall, I highly recommend Tri-Care Services for their job quality, quick respond and installation. Again, they were honest and priced correctly for the job performed. They also told me about the rebate through the gas company but I already knew that from the Rinnai website.
Kristi C.We have used Tri-Care Services since 2015 and I can't imagine having a different plumber or service. Kelly and they office team are professional, accommodating, and communicate well! Prices/fees are clearly explained. Each plumber has been timely, professional, and always completed the job. We had some laundry room repairs during a remodel that needed rapid response to prevent the remodel from slowing and they came same day! In our new home the dishwasher leaked everywhere on the first night of our move in. They arrived the next morning 830 am. With other services like the water softener, we set a mutually agreed time/date and as in all instances 2015-2021 on time and on budget. We highly recommend Tri-Care Services.
Carl L.I had an intermittent issue with my Rinnai Tankless Water Heater that I could not nail down. Called Tri-Care at 9:15 in the morning and just after 10:00 the technician arrived. He was able to diagnose the issue and repair all in the same trip, after the repair he explained what the issue was which made me feel a lot better about not being able to repair it myself.
They showed up on time and ready to go. No having to run to the store and bill me for the time. He was in and out in an hour and the repair ended up costing 1/2 of what the other plumber was going to charge me. Awesome service! When I need a plumber these folks will be the first ones I call.
Mike M.Pros: 1. The company was responsive and was able to get a plumber to our home within a couple of hours of calling them on a Saturday (on an emergency basis - $150/hr with a 1 hour minimum). 2. Our technician, Izzy, was a very nice gentleman. He was kind, knowledgeable and did a nice job. Cons: 1. Our technician did not have the CPVC to complete the job on Saturday night. He was able to put a CPVC cap for the night to temporarily fix the problem for the night but had to come back the next morning. 2. Because our technician did not have the materials (basic parts), we were charged $150 per hour for the technician to drive to a store to buy replacement parts. This drove up the cost of time/labor. For 45-60 mins of actual work to fix the plumbing problem, they charged $262 for labor. They reused the same black value (in the picture) that we had on the house so the only parts needed was the CPVC. Total cost was $292 when I believe it should have been more reasonable - $150 (hr minimum) + $30 in parts. Up-charging customers for addition time because your technician did not have basic CPVC parts on his truck is ridiculous. Tri-Care is a great choice when you are planning future plumbing needs (I'll likely use them again) but for an emergency service, make sure to provide as much detail (i.e. - send pictures, be extremely detailed when requesting emergency services) to prevent running into my situation/circumstance.
Phyllis W.George provided our family with exceptional customer service. His personality mixed with his expertise was exceptional. I have never had such a great experience when it comes to plumbing as I encountered today. Hands down, they are the best plumbing company I have ever used!
Christine S.Look no further! We have used Tri-Care Services for all of our plumbing needs from our personal home, to maintenance on our rental properties to plumbing installation on a new build. They are experienced, professional and personable. Sam has been a pleasure to work with and very well versed in code and ensuring the work is done right! Kelly is very pleasant and ensured all permits and inspections were set always keeping us in the loop. Go Local and go with Tri-Care!
Charles M.Very pleased with the tech that came to my home. He was very pleasant, answered my questions and also helped with another concern I had in my home that I had not called in about. The tech fixed the issues very quickly and efficiently. The only complaint I have is that their office told me a tech would be at my home between 1pm - 4pm. After waiting all this time the tech did not arrive until 5:30 pm. I was not thrilled about this but again the tech that showed up was great and the price was very reasonable.
