Recently called Town & Country Plumbing Repair to replace my water heater. In addition I had an expansion tank installed. Sam did an excellent job installing the water heater and expansion tank. Everything was left neat and clean. Furthermore, Town & Country plumbing charged a fair price. Town & Country Plumbing has my highest recommendation. I will definitely call them back.

I live in a small apartment complex in which 4 of the 10 units were having clogged/leaking/flooding problems. On a recent Sunday, Sam came out and assessed the situation and snaked the line 120 feet to the main. He came back on Monday to re-assess and make sure all the units affected were in good shape. Thank You for such a great response and follow through with this problem, and in finding a solution.

Contacted this company for a high priority order at a tenant occupied property. Made all arrangements and the following day found out the work did not get done. Contacted Gary (owner I believe) and he said Abel (his tech) tried calling myself and the tenant and left voicemail's which was not at all the case. I left 3 voicemail's for Abel (1 the day of the appointment and 2 the following day) and received no response back. I called Gary to try and start everything over and just get the work done and all of a sudden he decided he wanted to pass on the job...

1. They were great when they re-piped my home. The price was very good and the men very skilled and considerate. With my experience of this job, I was going to use them exclusively.
2. They were great when they did small repairs after that until now. The prices were fair and sometimes they would do a little extra.
3. But my last experience... my toilet leaked and I was told I needed a new one. Well two other plumbers agreed. My problem with their last visit to my house is two fold. 1. The prices...wow! $353 for looking at a toilet and doing a 5 min. repair (not the toilet) 2. I asked the owner to break down the invoice and no response. I at least want to know how they arrived at that fee. The estimate to replace the toilet was not so reasonable. I went with someone else.
4. I asked the owner to get back to me to talk about quotes for the toilet install and a whole house filter and no response. I don't know what happened to their customer service.
5. The estimate for a water filter was crazy high too. They want $2400 to install that. That seems high considering they re-piped my entire house for $4800.
How can you do all that re-pipe work for $4800 and charge so much for the small jobs? I mean another simple job was quoted to be $95. I fixed it myself. It took a few minutes.
Town and Country I have mixed feelings. Your prices are crazy now and your customer service is not what it was. But you are skilled. I wish you were the same company I fell in love with when I had the re-pipe done.

These folks do great work. Clean. I have used their services several times. And will continue passing their name onto others that I know and do business with. Thanks Gary!

awhile back I hired these guys to replumb the entire house through the attic. while not cheap, they did a reasonable job. originally Able came out to estimate. he was to the point and offerer their services at a price that seemed high but definitely not outrageous. sometimes you pay a bit more to hire the guy that will get the job done right. eventually the two guys actually going to install the new piping came by. I believe their names were josh and roman. they did a great job, and were respectful of my belonging.

there were however some slight hiccups. I called Able back, he came back out and agreed on a few relatively minor fixes. in the end, would definitely recommend. no job ever completes without a few bumps in the road, these guys seem serious about running a business and making their customers plumbing function as expected.

Recently called Town & Country to fix a clogged bathroom sink. The plumber they sent out was a nice guy, took care of a nasty clog, cleaned up the mess and charged a fair price. I'll definitely call them for a future clog or leak.

Town and Country Plumbing overcharged us and then, after agreeing to a partial refund, reneged.

Andy paid a 10 minute visit to our house and told us a toilet filler valve needed to be replaced; since it was an old toilet, he needed to order the part. He returned a few days later with a filler valve conversion kit and installed it in about 10 minutes. The bill was $285. After learning that valves were available on Amazon for as little as $20, I called Andy and asked how much he had paid. He said he had bought a conversion kit from Kohler for about $160. I asked for the receipt and he promised to send it. He never did.

I called him about the receipt and he told me his father (the owner of the business) refused to provide it. He also said that the conversion kit cost $120--not $160--and said that the balance of the bill was for labor. He claimed two hours of labor since he had made two visits. I acknowledged a minimum fee for one hour of labor, no matter how much time spent, but felt that the twenty minutes of his time should not be billed as two hours. He agreed that his billing time had not been made clear at the outset and promised to refund $90. This was never done. Town and Country did not have the courtesy to inform me it was not making a refund or to explain to me why it was breaking its promise to do so.

So; I call these people to determine if I want to try them. On the phone: first thing out of their mouth is a quote to replace my toilet (clogged) with a $6nn Toto. ""Or, you can go cheaper with this product for $4nn.""

Seriously? You have not even seen my building, much less my toilet.

Needless to say, I went elsewhere. Still have the same toilet but, now have learned a better way to plunge.

Lame!

Was charged $305 to replace a garbage disposer. Thought that was steep. It was not an emergency call. They just got me in whenever. Their cost of a garbage disposer is probably about $70 (and that's a generous figure in my opinion), so I was charged $235 for labor and some pipes and glue for an hour worth of work.

On a separate incident from few years before that, which I had completely forgotten, until I started typing, I called them to get a quote to fix something (don't remember what it was). The owner, I assume, gave me a quote. I asked if they can give me a discount, since they were going to be in the complex giving a bid to the HOA. The owner said ""ma'am, I think you're better off calling a handyman"".

I wish my HOA would stop using these guys. All our homeowners will be paying less on HOA dues.
