5 stars. First off, unlike other plumbers Raul answers his phone and calls back. That alone gets him points in my book. Nevertheless I was told by my appliance installer that the water line hook up to my refrigerator was not up to code so they could not install my new refrigerator. I called Raul. He came by and spent about 30 min at my house. He pulled out the fridge, inspected water line and hook ups, went under my house to look at pipes, then showed me the shut off under my sink and explained that it was up to code and nothing needed to be done. He could have gouged me because I clearly had no knowledge of this. At minimum, I expected to pay for the service call. When I asked how much I owed Raul he said no charge. He is a top notch professional and knows how to treat customers. If you have plumbing needs - call him. You will not be disappointed.

i have use toto's plumbing 4 times during the last 6 years. 1st trenchless sewage with inspection; 2) change plumbing in the tub to copper, and 3rdplumbing for washer and dryer.4th repair in my mom 2nd story house- leaking of bathroom sink with leakage in the sewage system. before raul and his crew start the work , he gives you a price for the plumbing and he sticks to the price. raul is very responsible for keeping the price even if the work takes a little longer . for example, for the tile of the tub took a little longer because i made the mistake to buy small tiles. a small plumbing company recommended me toto's plumbing for changing the sewage lines.

Raul is a prince among plumbers. He fixed my shower in about 10 mins. AND played with my dog. Because he was a bit late, he wasn't going to charge me at all. I had to force some $ on him. What's not to like?

Toto's did a great job replacing our sewer lateral. They did it in only 2 days and the crew cleaned up after themselves and kept everything tidy. It was truly a painless experience for us. Raul was very responsive by email. Their bid was significantly less than the other company (The Plumbing Ministry) we got a bid from.

Toto's has done two sewer lateral replacements for me (lucky me - can't seem to buy a house with out needing to replace the lateral) - one in San Francisco and one in Berkeley. Both times they were the best bid and the work was done quickly and efficiently, including concrete re-patched in a way that minimizes the fact that it had ever been dug up. No extra costs, they pulled all the permits and made it totally pain-free. Highly, highly recommend. Going to have them do some other plumbing work for me too.

My regular plumber wasn't available so I called Toto's a half hour before they opened to schedule a sewer line cleanout. Expected to leave a message to get someone out later in the day but Raul promptly answered and said he'd send someone right out! Wow! Another Raul (not the owner) and Israel showed up shortly afterwards, figured out the issue quickly and commenced to work. Pulled out some interesting items and explained exactly what the tenants had flushed down the toilet (it's a real art deciphering some of the odds and ends he comes across - how'd he know that plastic gunk was the remnants of a baby wipe?).

Both workers were prompt, expert and knew what they were doing. Tenant mentioned her tub was slow and they quickly snaked up wads of hair. They cleaned up after themselves, tested the system and presented me with a very fair bill.

We would recommend them wholeheartedly and expect to use them again!

Toto's is great. We just bought a house and had to take on the EBMUD sewer lateral replacement for a lot of cash.

Toto's team was professional, honest, fast, clean, and smart. They charged what they estimated.

When they say trenchless they mean it. They were able to replace 6 separate sewer joints, some janky duct-taped connections without tearing up our entire yard. They show up with everything they need to get it done, both manpower and tools.

They only took four days to complete the work. Our plumbing worked every night when we got home and we got our EBMUD certificate 6 days after they started.

Sewer lateral blew on Sunday eve. Called Raul Monday morning first thing (before operating hours) and he returned the call within minutes and was at my house within the hour.
He did all the investigative work with me at his side, explaining every step thoroughly. As suspected, the line needed to be replaced and quick because I had renters showing up in two days. Raul was kind enough to drop everything and get to work immediately. Everything went according to plan. I was amazed at the speed and efficiency at which he and his crew work.
And the best part is that they didn't even leave a trace!!!
I can't say enough about the experience. It was actually better than 5 star because he went so far above and beyond on so many levels.
The only thing I want to call out is that he does have a strong accent and a bit difficult to understand on the phone but don't let that get in the way. Just give him your address and meet him in person to discuss the details and everything will fall into place. His son, Raul Jr. is working there as well, managing the crew etc. Very nice and capable like his father with excellent communication skills.

We recently had 371 ft of new sewer line replaced by Totos plumbing. Raul Sr., his son and crew did a very efficient job. They ran into several unexpected problems in the course of the work which added at least an extra day and a half to their workload. There were no complaints they just kept at until the work was done. Oh yes the price. I received 4 estimates and Raul's bid was the cheapest by far. One bid was nearly twice his. If you want a good job at the right price, call Totos.

Toto's replaced our sewer lateral. They did a good job. The price was competitive. They were flexible and easy to work with when we had to change the schedule because of a family emergency.
