Toto's did a great job replacing our sewer lateral. They did it in only 2 days and the crew cleaned up after themselves and kept everything tidy. It was truly a painless experience for us. Raul was very responsive by email. Their bid was significantly less than the other company (The Plumbing Ministry) we got a bid from.

Toto's has done two sewer lateral replacements for me (lucky me - can't seem to buy a house with out needing to replace the lateral) - one in San Francisco and one in Berkeley. Both times they were the best bid and the work was done quickly and efficiently, including concrete re-patched in a way that minimizes the fact that it had ever been dug up. No extra costs, they pulled all the permits and made it totally pain-free. Highly, highly recommend. Going to have them do some other plumbing work for me too.

My regular plumber wasn't available so I called Toto's a half hour before they opened to schedule a sewer line cleanout. Expected to leave a message to get someone out later in the day but Raul promptly answered and said he'd send someone right out! Wow! Another Raul (not the owner) and Israel showed up shortly afterwards, figured out the issue quickly and commenced to work. Pulled out some interesting items and explained exactly what the tenants had flushed down the toilet (it's a real art deciphering some of the odds and ends he comes across - how'd he know that plastic gunk was the remnants of a baby wipe?).

Both workers were prompt, expert and knew what they were doing. Tenant mentioned her tub was slow and they quickly snaked up wads of hair. They cleaned up after themselves, tested the system and presented me with a very fair bill.

We would recommend them wholeheartedly and expect to use them again!

Toto's is great. We just bought a house and had to take on the EBMUD sewer lateral replacement for a lot of cash.

Toto's team was professional, honest, fast, clean, and smart. They charged what they estimated.

When they say trenchless they mean it. They were able to replace 6 separate sewer joints, some janky duct-taped connections without tearing up our entire yard. They show up with everything they need to get it done, both manpower and tools.

They only took four days to complete the work. Our plumbing worked every night when we got home and we got our EBMUD certificate 6 days after they started.

Sewer lateral blew on Sunday eve. Called Raul Monday morning first thing (before operating hours) and he returned the call within minutes and was at my house within the hour.
He did all the investigative work with me at his side, explaining every step thoroughly. As suspected, the line needed to be replaced and quick because I had renters showing up in two days. Raul was kind enough to drop everything and get to work immediately. Everything went according to plan. I was amazed at the speed and efficiency at which he and his crew work.
And the best part is that they didn't even leave a trace!!!
I can't say enough about the experience. It was actually better than 5 star because he went so far above and beyond on so many levels.
The only thing I want to call out is that he does have a strong accent and a bit difficult to understand on the phone but don't let that get in the way. Just give him your address and meet him in person to discuss the details and everything will fall into place. His son, Raul Jr. is working there as well, managing the crew etc. Very nice and capable like his father with excellent communication skills.

We recently had 371 ft of new sewer line replaced by Totos plumbing. Raul Sr., his son and crew did a very efficient job. They ran into several unexpected problems in the course of the work which added at least an extra day and a half to their workload. There were no complaints they just kept at until the work was done. Oh yes the price. I received 4 estimates and Raul's bid was the cheapest by far. One bid was nearly twice his. If you want a good job at the right price, call Totos.

Toto's replaced our sewer lateral. They did a good job. The price was competitive. They were flexible and easy to work with when we had to change the schedule because of a family emergency.

Replacing the sewer lateral was not something I was excited about. When I couldn't put it off any longer, my regular plumber suggested I call Toto's. Raul is a great guy. He's very low key, very professional. He gave me a solid price, not a price that ""might change"" depending on what happened once he got going. His team, which included is son, was great. Once I saw how involved the trenchless replacement became, I was really happy that I hired them instead of one of those ""emergency"" plumbing outfits. Toto's is an excellent company.

Our sewer lateral is a unusual situation, its at the rear of the house, 10 feet deep and under 2 very large trees! Other companies weren't even interested in my business when they saw how challenging it was going to be. Raul and his crew did a great job at a great price.

I hired him to replace another sewer line for a kitchen and bathroom. Again, great job and great price. My only complaint is that they show-up without letting me know ahead of time. A text or phone call heads up would have been nice. But quality of work was great.

Honest guy, he did sewer lateral inspection for client, he found out the sewer lateral was good, client saved money and he does give good solid advice without trying to charge you for everything, good guy and his crew is very friendly. Good company I've used often for my real estate clients.
