He's a crazy person.
He would not stop yelling at me.
I have no idea why.

I had already asked how much and was off to get my checkbook and he started yelling AGAIN.
The first thing he said to me was yelled. Everything he said in between was yelled even though I assured him I was just trying to understand how the backup had happened and I thought we had arranged for him to come and dig up the pipes outside and see if there was a loose fitting. This was yelled at me in a tiny bathroom.

I had to put my hands over my ears because I just can't take all this yelling, and then he started yelling at me as though I was not going to pay him. I had just said in a break in all the yelling that I was going to get my check book and he was yelling at me?

Like I said, crazy person.

I really want to thank Raul and his team. My general contractor was not able to finish my big basement dig-out reno and so I was left needing to obtain a PSL certificate without any knowledge of what a PSL certificate even is. I obtained 2 other bids but I chose Toto because the bid was fair, Raul was very responsive and mostly because Raul patiently educated me about the whole process in detail. I was a bit anxious about not being able to use my kitchen sink or the bathrooms for extended periods of time, especially with my whole family home during Covid, but Raul's team made running water available at certain intervals during the day and at every night. When I wanted to change the layout plan for the new sewer pipes, the team worked with us, no problem. In addition, Raul is also licensed to work on indoor plumbing issues. When I contacted him about a problem I was having with one of my basement showers, he came the next day on a Saturday morning to diagnose the problem and then refused to take payment from me for his time, saying that his services are to help the community. Raul is the real deal - a genuinely good person with very credible skills. Thank you Raul!

Raul did a fantastic job removing massive amounts of plant detritus from our old pipes and installing a new cleanout so that our basement toilet will be less prone to backing up in the future.

He's fast to respond, works quickly, and is very friendly and reliable. Will definitely call these guys again if the need arises!

Had to replace the sewer lateral to sell our Oakland Hills house. Had a few companies come out to inspect and bid. We hired Toto's Plumbing and they did an EXCELLENT job. Professional, prompt, reliable service. Everything was done quickly and what I thought may be complicated was made completely carefree for me. Their price was highly competitive and we had our completion certificate in hand within a week, even during the covid era.

Raul and team fixed a leak in our house plumbing connection to the sewer that was causing water to leak into our basement through foundation cracks. He was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable and easy to work with giving me a quote the same day as onsite inspection and scheduling the work within 1 week of accepting the quote.

Called and set up an appointment for Tuesday (the listed phone number is the owners cell phone, not an actual business line). We texted and set up an appointment. I got a text message a few days later saying ""Sorry i miss Tuesday Im going now"" - what? I call him and he says that he already came to my house (no one was home) and did the inspection and that the line needs to be replaced. I'm not comfortable with someone just showing up to my house without me knowing, doing an ""inspection"" that I was not present for, and then telling me I need to give them thousands of dollars to repair the line. When I called and told them these frustrations, they said ""we can come back anytime"" - what about Tuesday 10am, the time we originally agreed to that you said wouldn't work? ""Oh yeah, we can come Tuesday at 10am"".... soooo why was the appointment cancelled in the first place? Shady, unreliable and unprofessional.

A few weeks ago Todd spent 15 minutes on the phone with me diagnosing a problem in my kitchen sink until is was identified, told me what I needed from the hardware store and what to do. He was great from the get go. I would call him anytime.

5 stars. First off, unlike other plumbers Raul answers his phone and calls back. That alone gets him points in my book. Nevertheless I was told by my appliance installer that the water line hook up to my refrigerator was not up to code so they could not install my new refrigerator. I called Raul. He came by and spent about 30 min at my house. He pulled out the fridge, inspected water line and hook ups, went under my house to look at pipes, then showed me the shut off under my sink and explained that it was up to code and nothing needed to be done. He could have gouged me because I clearly had no knowledge of this. At minimum, I expected to pay for the service call. When I asked how much I owed Raul he said no charge. He is a top notch professional and knows how to treat customers. If you have plumbing needs - call him. You will not be disappointed.
