I have been involved the family's Heating and Air Conditioning business my whole life, kicking off from the bottom, cleaning trucks, climbing my way to the highest levels one step at a time from setup, service, calculating, sourcing, and various roles you can consider. I became the role of President of Total Comfort in 2006 following my dad's departure and grew the business into pipe services and Insulation.
I comprehend every facet of my business, which helps me to be the best leader I can be. My aim is to maintain expanding one client at a time. We make sure every single customer feels like part of our community, because once you do business with us, you are part of our family. I have been joyfully married to my beautiful wife for over 19 years. We have two sons, Sean and Evan. I am actively involved in my kids' sports activities, from mentoring and managing their little league, basketball, and football teams to being their most enthusiastic fan on the court.

I had Michael G. out from Total Comfort to my house today to check out both of my furnaces for an annual inspection. As a technician, he was professional, knowledgeable and friendly! He was very meticulous - looking at each and every component, checking to make sure that everything was working as it should be for both of my units.
I'm very glad that I had these folks come out, because they took care of me, and also made some good recommendations for preventive maintenance on my units. Thanks Michael, and thank you Total Comfort, Inc!

Edwin Garcia responded to our residence regarding our AC Unit not cooling. Upon arrival he was courteous, professional and explained the procedures in detail. After speaking with us he quickly went to work and diagnosed the problem. We were lucky to have a simple fix which took care of the problem. Total Comfort Inc. honored the ""Goodman AC"" parts warranty which only made us responsible for labor costs. Upon completion of the service he explained billing and provided us with multiple payment options. We were happy and satisfied with service provided by Edwin Garcia and will be using Total Comfort Inc as our primary AC maintenance and repair.

WOW... AMAZING!!! PLEASE READ IF LOOKING FOR AN A/C COMPANY!!! It's June and as timing goes, our air conditioner went out. I called Total Comfort and they scheduled an appointment right away. They called me before the appointment to confirm and also called me on their way here- VERY HELPFUL since it is a 3 hour window of time (which by the way they arrived at the start of the 3 hour window)! Our technician, Edwin Garcia, was absolutely outstanding to work with! He spent about 2 hours with us to correctly diagnose the issue (which included running tests, checking filters, going into the attic, breaking off and defrosting the ice built up on our coils, and retesting everything- SO THOROUGH!!!). He explained everything he was doing, as he did it, so that we understood exactly what he was looking for. In the end we needed a labor intensive, valve/coil replacement, and our family has fallen on hard times recently and we couldn't afford it. Edwin and his managers dug into our warranty to find out we had two weeks left on the part, called different financing agencies for us, worked with us on the cost, and ultimately MADE THIS WORK!!! We were looking at a summer in the inland empire with no air conditioning! For me, my father recently passed away and I'm taking care of my mother with dementia and with everything else happening this felt like one of those breaking moments... but instead this was a total win for my family! I realize that this may sound over the top... ""an air conditioning company stopped you from breaking... really???"", but it's true. It's hard to find people, let alone companies, that go out of their way to truly help their customers, but Total Comfort, Inc. did that for us! Thank you, thank you, thank you Edwin and his team! Your help and service means more than you know!

Total Comfort? TOTAL RIPOFF is more like it! Listen guys, you know us. We're positive. We like to write positive reviews, provide encouragement and give praise to most establishments. In our experience, most businesses, restaurants and their employees try really hard to do a good job and we're there to give them a big thumbs up and spread the news. Then, rarely, you run into a completely crooked outfit like ""Total Comfort."" We admit it, we don't know much about air conditioning. That's why we call in an expert and we trust them to do a good job at a fair price. And, that's fair. But, what we don't expect is to be completely taken advantage of by them. That's unfair. We just wanted our A/C fixed. We don't want to be made to feel stupid and victimized. But, that's exactly what the people at ""Total Comfort"" did. So, what's the beef? Well, we could, and normally would, overlook being late to the appointment. But, what we can't overlook is being charged $480 for an $11 part. Yes, you read that right. How do we know? Well, because the quoted price seemed high, we snapped a picture of the replacement box and then, to our dismay, Googled it. We found the exact part, a capacitor, at full retail, on Amazon for $11.67 with free shipping! (And, it's not even the top of the line product!). They also excessively marked up our fuses. But, what makes them crooked was taking everything away (the supposedly ""bad"" parts and all the replacement packaging) so that we, like most of you out there, couldn't double check the truthfulness and honesty of this operation. They knew it was a ripoff and they intentionally took away the evidence. You're probably thinking, well, maybe this was a complicated job or took a lot of time. Nope, the entire job was done in less than an hour, with much of that time going back and forth to the van and rummaging around. Actual work was about half an hour: removing some screws with a drill and popping out the modular components. Whole bill for this ""service?"" $680! Terrible! Nothing like being made to feel stupid. Yes, that was our mistake and we paid the bill in full because, yes, it was our mistake in trusting this company. Don't make the same mistake. You've been warned. Our advice is to stay far away from this business because they ripped us off with a smile on their face. We wonder how many other nice folks out there have been ripped off by these guys? :-/

My most recent service request started with a bad taste as the replacement motor ordered by Total Comfort didn't arrive even after 3 weeks. They somehow figured out a way and installed the part and got the unit up again. Technician (Will Powers)was thorough and friendly. He took care of required work very well. I am removing two stars for a bad experience dealing with office and the process. I had to follow up and then only got to know that there is some issue and they scheduled the repair twice but key cancelling it due to part unavailability. Understand that Total Comfort is not manufacturing the parts but a good support process and keeping the customer apprised with the situation is what I expected.

Brand new furnace was not blowing any hot air. Called Total Comfort and they were out there the same day. The technician (forgot his name) noticed that a sensor in the furnace that ensure CO2 is not building up was defective and because of that the furnace would not fire (it would just keep the fan going). I got a call from Rob the next day informing me that the part was not readily available and that they are working on getting one from the manufacturer. 1 week later, I spoke with Rob again, he informed me that the part had just come in and they would be able to send some on Saturday and get it fixed.
Saturday, technician Will comes at the time they said they would. He was wonderful, always had his booties on to not track dirt onto the carpet, even called his supervisor because of another concern he noticed (it ended up not being an issue at all.) All in all, Will explained everything, fixed everything and now we have heat.

Needed a transformed changed out. Edwin and Lee were prompt, professional, and cool guys. Fair priced and good work. I will use them again, and would recommend this company to friends and family.

I pre-ordered the new Nest Hello directly from Nest back in February 2018. Once the device released in mid-March, they sent me an email that I am eligible for free Nest Pro Installation.
I used the Nest Pro finder and contacted a couple Nest Pros in my area. The first one that responded happened to be Total Comfort. They set up an appointment to install my Nest Hello pretty quickly.
The technician that they sent to my home a couple weeks ago was Edwin G. He arrived right on time for the appointment and was super professional. He also expertly installed the Nest Hello and ensured I understood how it works.
Overall, Total Comfort and Edwin were absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend Total Comfort to my friends and neighbors without hesitation!

We had an issue with our thermostat not syncing with our router. We've had the unit almost a year with no previous problems. We called up Total Comfort and they sent out a technician the next day. Edwin Garcia came over in a timely manner and greeted us with a smile. That pretty much set the tone of the visit. He asked what our issue was and he attempted to remedy the situation. Because he wasn't able to do it, he called Ecobee and got followed the agent's instructions and in no time, our thermostat was syncing and everything was back to normal. We really had a great experience with TCI with the immediate visit of their technician and the exemplary concern and assistance from Edwin Garcia.

I originally called Total Comfort, Inc. for a second opinion after receiving an INSANE quote from another company based out of Ontario to fix my broken whole house fan. After speaking with the rep on the phone they waived their customary $69 fee since it was for a second opinion. I wanted a local company that I could work with and wanted a vendor I could rely upon to service my home. They setup an appointment for several days later and that worked perfectly with my schedule. I was not home at the time and my wife met with Randy to get a quote. Randy and his team did a complete inspection of my existing ceiling fan and gave me several viable options of repairing it (it was in BAD shape), or replacing it with a new similar model. My fan was 6 years old, had a broken belt, and was leaking fluid. After some discussion with Randy I opted to just replace the unit as the price they quoted was fantastic. Less than 50% of the previous quote I had received. I went ahead and gave Randy the approval to move forward with the project. Randy and his team came out on a saturday morning and had the project done very quickly. They identified some potential trouble ductwork issues in my attic and fixed them while they installed the new fan. The respect for my home and family that Randy and the rest of his team observed cannot be overstated. They were very clean, respectful and meticulous. I appreciated the honest up front pricing that I was given and the quality of the work. While they were onsite I asked Randy if he could give me a ballpark quote on replacing my aging 30+ yr old furnance & leaky a/c unit.
Randy got back to me about 2 hours later with an exact quote that was very reasonable. After some discussion we managed to get a great unit that fit perfectly in my home for what we were looking for. Randy and his team helped me secure the proper funding and took care of all the permits. As was the case with the whole house fan install his team was once again absolutely fantastic and had the old unit pulled and the new unit completely installed in 1 day. Randy has his team answered all of our question completely and without any hesitation. During the install of the new unit his team brought to my wife's attention that we have a leak in our water heater and did a routine check at my wife's request. Turns out the water heater in my house was installed in 2010 and has lasted about 18 years. Definitely over the service life of standard water heater. Randy explained the situation to the company boss and they offered me a fantastic deal to change out my water heater. I was so pleased with the results of the previous jobs and the straight dealing I have had with this Company, Randy and his crew that we just approved project number 3 and are moving forward with the replacement of the aged water heater and moving to a new tankless water heater in my home.
What I liked about this company and what set them above the rest:
1. Straight up fair and honest pricing the first time.
2. Randy and his team treated my house and my family with the utmost respect.
3. When Randy says he will get back to you, he WILL get back to you. He's a busy guy and he followed up every question and concern I had EVERYTIME.
4. Randy and his team were extremely clean, quick, and accurate on their installs.
5. At no time was there ANY sales pressure. In fact all inquiries for quotes were initiated by me based on personally what I observed of their work ethic and actions.
I am not a handy guy with house stuff and I know my limitations. This has been one of the few contractors that I have dealt with in the 4+ years of owning my home that I did not feel that I was being taken advantage of or pressured into purchasing anything. No bull, no scare tactics, Very refreshing.
