Great job today repairing a dead bathroom outlet. Prior to our technician's arrival, I received notification that Top Tier was on the way including a photo and brief introduction of our service provider. Tyler and his assistant arrived on time in a well equipped and clearly marked, modern truck. Our service providers were both in uniform. They went to work on our issue quickly and made several recommendations for possible causes of the problem. Tyler offered up-front pricing for the work that needed to be done. Later, he added a couple of small items to the repair at no additional cost. He was able to trace our loss of power issue to a burned wire, which took some troubleshooting in the attic and throughout our home. He continually advised me on the steps he was taking. Based on my experience and understanding of electrical wiring schemes in homes such as mine, I was able to follow exactly what he was doing, and agree 100% that everything he suggested made sense and was reasonable. He explained the reason for the burned out wire and told me how to avoid this issue in the future.
He suggested some possible upgrades to our nearly 40 year old home's breaker box, but at no time did I feel pressure to have this extra work done immediately. This is my first encounter with Top Tier Electric but I was impressed by their communication, professionalism and knowledge. The electrician who responded to my call was professional and thorough. I had been told by another company in the area that I needed to have my home rewired at the cost of $8000. The Top Tech technician came in and said that the diodes in my LED lights were going bad and all I needed to do was change out the light bulbs. Imagine my relief, surprise, and gratitude for such a simple fix! I replaced the light bulbs 3 weeks ago and sure enough that remedied my problem. No more flickering lights!

Quick response to my post to install additional outlet(s) in the garage. My husbands scheduled an estimate for the end of the week. I received a text informing me the technician was on the way and a profile with picture introducing our tech, Brad. I really like this added courtesy. It was helpful to know who to look for. It also provided me with his experience and added a personal element making the appointment feel less like having a stranger in your home. I really wish more companies did this. It's a very smart business idea!
Brad and his apprentice, Rob, arrived on time and were dressed in very nice, professional uniforms that really added this extra upper class touch. Even the truck was dressed nice. Whoever came up with this business plan and marketing strategy is brilliant!

Ok. Ok. Service, Cost and Work is what I'm supposed to be discussing...but these little details were impressive and I can't let them go unnoticed.
Brad and Rob were super friendly, professional and very informative. You can tell Brad knows exactly what he is talking about! He was very helpful in helping me understand all the details. Rob was very considerate and asked about my dogs after I had briefly mentioned having our vet out earlier in the day. I was a little thrown back by this little attention to detail and very thoughtful conversation while they finished installing the outlet. It was a very nice and appreciated surprise. These little personal touches really go a long way with me.

I can't really speak to the price because I don't have anything to compare it to. It sounded fair to me. It's hot, they're working outside in my garage and working with electricity, something I never want to mess with. So, I'm good with the price. ‍
They were meticulous in the clean up. Made sure to check and double check their work. The company also offers a membership at $10.95 per month that saves you 10% off services. Definitely worth it if you plan on having multiple projects like us.
In short, I'm very pleased with the decision to hire this company and they will be our go-to for all of our electrician needs! 10/10 Def Recommend!

Prompt responses, amazing communication. Before they tech came out they sent a text with description of Brad Chapman our technician including a little about his background and interests. When he arrived he was calm and respectful and even went so far as to put shoe covers on his shoes as he came in and out of the house. Even though we couldn't justify the expense of running a 220 line from our circuit box in our garage to our kitchen ( on the other side of our 2 story house) - we wanted to install a duel fuel stove, we definitely will seek out TopTech Electric for any other electric and circuitry needs that may crop up!
