scammers, had a water heater go out, called home warranty company who dispatch these guys. tech shows up, doesn't check pipes, volts, amps or anything. takes pictures and says i need a new tank. he leaves, no call back, 4hrs later I call his dispatch and they have no idea whats going on, they call me back later asking for the service fee, saying its for his travel, and diagnosis of the tank, bs. I tell him no and thats not what the fees for but I'd gladly pay him the fee if the tech was actually currently fixing the problem. he said he would call me back, but instead just put in a work completed with my warranty co. they don't even have a physical address so it makes you wonder how legitimate they are.

Very disappointed. Home warranty company sent Top Notch Plumbing out for a leaking faucet. Technician arrived and confirmed what we already knew - the faucet needed to be replaced. Technician could not access the valve and said "the unit seems to be ceased internally, you may need to contact the vendor Moen for replacement." Top Notch closed the work order and documented it as "mechanical damage present" and the home warranty company denied the claim. Absolutely false. I (homeowner) contacted Moen and they 1) confirmed the unit has a history of ceasing and 2) sent a brand new unit out without question. Top Notch Plumbing closed the work order with false information (damage) and now the warranty company won't cover a reinstallation. Avoid this company.

My home warranty had set us up with this company. We had our toilet and house water backing up into our house tubs. We obviously had a clog as the clean out on the outside of the home was clogged up and overflowing into our yard.
Our plumber showed up and used an auger much like the one we were trying to use. Small and too flimsy.... Manually. Upon removing one very old tampon from the line, the water was still visible and resting at the bottom of the pipe. With the water running, it was still flowing but slower than should. Plumber told us that we should be good. Fast forward 36 hours, gurgling from the toilets, back up into showers and a wet back yard indicates the issue is not resolved. Our warranty service recalled the plumber. This time, he pulls nothing from the line after going "55 feet" and says the clog is gone (after 10 minutes and again, a manually with a hand held small auger). Says we should expect to see a little water sitting at the bottom that maybe my house plumbing is higher than the main sewer. Basically, blah blah ....he didn't fix the issue. Fast forward 36 hours, repeat. The tech tells my warranty service and they cancel the recall appt because TNP told them that they pulled foreign objects (one tampon that is flushable in a home we've been flushing down for 20 years) so my warranty service says they can send another company out for 75 for a second opinion or go on my own.
So we go with a friends recommendation and call Aaron's Plumbing. They came out less than an hour later. They used a small auto auger on the clean out. All house water now runs like rapids and guess what? No standing water in the clean out, unlike what the tech said at TNP. Todays tech only went about 25-30 feet and cleared it, no water in clean out).

I would not recommend this company at all. The plumber technician knew that there shouldn't still be water in that clean out. He should have continued on with the repair...but he just billed my warranty service and left us in the same predicament that brought him to use to begin with.
I ended up paying the company that fixed our issue for $225 and literally 15 minutes time, most of that being set up). Given the job was done correctly, it was worth every penny. I called my warranty provider to drop this vendor from my profile. If you are assigned them, you should as well. Beware!

The photo is my no water standing pipe which is the the way it should be. Thanks to Aarons as they get the credit..... and not Top notch. Their repair never looked like this in either visit.

This is the 3rd time I have used them. Twice on warranty issues. This time personal pay for a bathroom faucet. All times arrived as promised. This time technician assured me everything was working correctly and did not charge me a thing. Just asked to remember them for future business.

I was so greatful when they came as I was in a panic. The tech looked at my ceiling and said it was not a bathroom problem, but pipes in the attic. He said he was going to cut a hole in my ceiling to assess the situation. As he was cutting he said they would send someone to fix it. After determining that it was not the pipes, but a cracked toilet. I was told they would have to get authorization from my warranty company. I told him no worries as I was looking at my contract and it covered toilets. He then contacted my warranty company and told them it had been broken, not wear and tear. The toilet is probably 20 years old and we hardly use that bathroom. When I called the office, they told me they could fix it and I could just pay out of pocket. Now I have no working toilet upstairs and a hole in my bedroom ceiling up to through the attic. It could have been simple- wear and tear. If we had broken it, wouldn't there be pieces or water on the floor? They could have made money and I could have had my issue resolved, but not today I guess.

I called for a leaking garbage disposal and he told the home warranty company that it was been misused because he found a bottle cap in there. He could have help me with the leaking problem if wanted to. But no he made a negative statement to denied my claim.

I had 2 problems that required plumbing services. A leaky toilet and a slow draining sink. Armando did the work on both and would not call the job complete until he could verify that the problem was resolved. He even followed up with a call to make sure that the problem was resolved. If I have another plumbing problem, Top Notch is who I'm calling. I'm recommending them to all my family and friends.

Plumber came to my house listened to our problem(backed up kitchen sink). Stated he needed to blow the pipes out but did not have the equipment with him. Never offered to try to clear with cable nor did he even look at the clean out in the kitchen. Never showed up next day.

This company was sent out to my home by my home warranty company (American Home Shield) to replace my hot water heater. I was told by the company I would have to pay $150.00 for a gas line, $150.00 for a T & P , $150.00 for In and Out lines, $150.00 for a drip pan and $50.00 for a vent diverter. I paid the company, and later found they did not replace the gas line. I have called the company several times and they have not taken any of my call or returned any of my calls. I contacted the warranty company and they reached out to the company and was told someone would call me and that has not happened. This is company is deceitful and has poor customer services.

Had a noise in my pipes every time I turned on my faucet or flushed the toilet. Technician came spent 1 minute to say that pipes needs to be tightened but need a general contractor. He took my service fee and left. Called John Moore plumbing and the plumber came in 45 minutes and was able to fix a valve in my shower that only took one hour and the noise stopped. Same top notch I used in the past that told me a leak in kitchen sink was from a bad faucet. Another plumber came and fixed a tubing instead of the pipe. I know its my fault for using them a second time and I will count my loss, but the warranty company assigned them. If I could give zero stars I would.
