I called last week and I spoke with Russ; we made an appointment for yesterday 2-4pm for someone to come to our home and give us a quote.
Not only that no one showed up or called to cancel, but although I called and left a message, no one returned my call.
What kind of customer service is this?!
Very disappointed.

I changed the number of stars from 1 to 4; Russ came next day apologizing over and over and recognizing that he discovered some voicemail issues which he will fix.
He gave us a quote, quite High, which made us postpone the project for a while.
Based on our interaction he seems like a solid professional which knows what he is supposed to do.

We called Top Hat Plumbing when we realized our main water pipe into the house was leaking slowly. Russ came out within the day to take a look and fixed everything before the week was out. He is professional, reasonably priced and works fast. Feels good to have a plumber we'll call whenever we have another problem. Doesn't take cards so be ready to use cash or a check.

Discovered a leak in the main waterline to our house. Called Russ and he returned my call promptly and was able to come out the same same day as promised. He took the time to explain the problem and how he was going to fix it. Had the repair completed within an hour or so and that included getting proper parts. Russ did a good job. He called me back after leaving a message. Showed up on time (actually came early after checking to see if I was available). Got the work done quickly and at his quoted price, and overall a very nice and personable guy. Will definitely use again if needed.

Had to call 2 days in a row, but not a big deal. People get busy, I totally get it. Once Russ called me back, we made an appointment for the same day. Russ and Logan did a great job clearing my stopped up sink. I was most impressed with how clean they left the area. Russ even wet mopped the bathroom. I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to call again if needed in the future.

Professional and quick turn around. Russ called me back and clearly communicated throughout our experience. He fixed out shower, which was only releasing cold water at the time. Great experience, we will use him again when needed.

Our first experience with Russ was the water pressure regulator leaking the day before leaving on vacation two years ago. Russ and his son bailed us our so we could leave on time. Since then Russ has just finished a second gas line for fireplace inserts. The communication, efficiency, and quality of work were top notch. We will be calling Top Hat for our future needs because of the honesty and pride in workmanship.
