Russ was awesome he's a wonderful plumber!! He fixed our water heater which no one knew how to do. He was very responsible and came out right away to help us with our problem. He really knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs any kind of plumbing cause he really knows what he's doing!!

Top Hat was wonderful. I had a collection of small fixes that needed to be made, including fixing a broken drain, a few bad pop up mechanisms on sink plungers and a bad shower device. I had called another MH area plumber and never heard back. So, I left a message for Russ while he was on vacation, and he called me the morning he returned to the office. We set up an appointment, and he was on time and very affordable. He listened to my concerns and talked me through how each of the mechanisms worked. Because he had all the equipment on hand that day, he was able to get the work done in a few hours. It was a big checkmark off of my to do list. I would definitely call Top Hat again.

When I discovered that my hot water heater was leaking and flooding the garage, it was a Sunday evening. A bit panicked, I looked for a plumber on Yelp, as I have never needed one before. I noticed Top Hat was local and very highly rated. Fortunately, they were able to come right over, diagnose the problem, and replace the hot water heater in a very timely manner. Also, they went above and beyond by vacuuming up some water and explaining everything they did, as well as how to manage the new hot water heater. I feel completely confident recommending Top Hat to anyone who is in need of a plumber! Thanks Guys!

We had a great experience with Top Hat and Russ. My mother had a leak in her back yard under the sidewalk that was tied into main water service which cut off all water to the house. Russ responded within 2 hours and had the repair complete by 5:00 PM.
Very professional, fairly priced, honest and explained options to my 88 year old mother that she could understand. Russ removed concrete so cleanly we were able to reinsert flag of concrete saving her money.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOP HAT PLUMBING FOR ANY PLUMBING NEEDS.

Can't say enough good things about Top Hat. We had a sudden leak appear in our family room ceiling one morning, and Russ was able to come out within a couple of hours. The problem wasn't immediately obvious (thankfully, not a freshwater pipe leak as he'd feared), and we decided I needed a new upstairs toilet. He was honest about taking a markup on the ones he had in stock, if I wanted to go that route. I ran to Home Depot and got one on sale, met him back at my house and he got it quickly installed and operational. The cost was reasonable, especially given the short notice and our active leak. Russ is very friendly and knowledgable, and I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again!

After multiple phone messages back and forth, Russ and I got to schedule a time that was convenient for me. Although he ran a few minutes late, which was ok with me, he kindly called me ahead of time and let me know he was running late. You can't blame a plumber running late cause he never really knows the difficulties and problems associated with customers plumbing projects. Nonetheless, Russ showed up, friendly and courteous, and after describing and showing him my issue, he offered a very in-expensive and quick solution. He gave me a quote right there on the spot and thirty minutes later, my problem was fixed. I was so worried I was going to have to rip out my whole fiberglass shower costing at least 10K. But Russ help me solve that problem with an alternative solution!

Top Hat did not call back immediately but they are a small family business so I understand (he should get someone to monitor his phones or be more on top of it...could lead to loss of potential business). He showed up 30minutes late but he did call me first. He found the problem with our toliets right away and 4 hours later they are all fixed. I can double flush with ease after a big meal.

I had Russ come out for a leaky kitchen faucet sprayer at he holiday. He brought his teenage son with him to do the work (?). I wasn't asked if this was ok with me and his price certainly didn't reflect that a unlicensed person was doing the repair but I needed it fixed so I went along. 2-3 days after Russ' son installed the new faucet I noticed a leak again under the sink and had to call him back-needless to say I was a little annoyed because it was the holiday and his was supposed to be a very simple job. He again came with his son and was very rude to him about his quality of work in front of me, the customer. Extremely inappropriate behavior for an employer to address employees like that in public-I was embarrassed for the kid. Come to find out the faucet was the wrong size and there was no way it was going to fit properly and not leak, Russ admitted that he suspected his might be a problem. If you thought there might be a problem then why cut corners and why belittle your son (employee) in front of me??
I will go back to my other plumber next time.
