Whew...I called Top Grade Plumbing for an estimate to do some work inside my townhome. I scheduled an estimate appointment for Friday January 3rd, and requested Gilberto. The receptionist said sure, not a problem. After showing up 30 mins late, another guy shows up (I won't call him out by name...). He goes through everything with me, and stated that he would send me an estimate. This was a very laid back visit. Till this day, I have YET to receive that email, text, call, anything. Dang guys...if you don't want to provide service to me I'd be happier if you just said ""sorry, eff you dude"". Lol.

On Monday, 12-30-2019, I received a call from my wife notifying me that ALL the drains in our home were backed-up -- obviously a sign of a main line blockage. I searched the internet, found ""Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter"", called, and after providing the person I spoke with my address, phone number, nature of the plumbing emergency (i.e., that ALL plumbing in the our home was backed-up), she asked me to hold while she checked their availability. After a minute or so, she said Top Grade could have a plumber at my home between 4:00pm and 5:00pm that same day and made the appointment.

I would not be home during the time Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter was scheduled to arrive, so I further provided the person I spoke with at Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter with my wife's name and cell phone number.

Around 4:30pm or so, I called my wife to check the status, and she told me NOBODY from Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter had shown up yet. Granted, they'd said the appoint was between 4:00pm and 5:00pm, so naturally I give them the benefit, given Los Angeles traffic and all, but still... I called just to confirm someone was coming -- but was ONLY able to reach an ANSWERING MACHINE, despite several attempts. I did, however, leave a message.

I called my wife again at 5:00pm, and STILL nobody from Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter had shown up, or called. Again, I tried calling Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter several times, but was ONLY able to reach an answering machine.

By 5:30pm I finally arrived home, and AGAIN tried reaching ANYONE from Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter -- but still, was ONLY able to reach an ANSWERING MACHINE.

I quickly started searching the internet for another plumber, but given it was now the EVENING, nobody was able to get someone out to assist till the NEXT DAY. However, I recalled I might have the name and phone number of a local plumber that had serviced our home a couple years prior, and searched my email. Luckily, I found the info and called him. Despite the time, he told me he could be at my home at 7:30pm, and would NOT even charge me extra for the service call. He arrived at around 7:30pm, unplugged the drain, and I made SURE to put his card in my wallet for all my future plumbing needs.

FURIUS with Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter for leaving me and my family in such a bind without so much as a phone call, I phoned Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter the next day (12-31-2019), and giving them the benefit of the doubt, simply asked what happened to the plumber that was supposed to service my home the day prior, and the woman I spoke with simply stated she'd have to have someone CALL ME BACK... but not surprisingly, NOBODY FROM TOP GRADE PLUMBING & ROOTER EVER CALLED ME BACK!!!

Seriously... what kind of company treats not only a NEW customer this way, but one that has a PLUMBING EMERGENCY?!!

LET THIS SERVE AS A WARNING to anyone thinking of hiring Top Grade Plumbing & Rooter -- they are not only UNRELIABLE, but COULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS -- even during a PLUMBING EMERGENCY.

STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!! They should change their name to ""BOTTOM OF THE BARREL PLUMBING & ROOTER"" -- at least that would be accurate!!! WHAT A HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

Amazing amazing amazing! Finally,honest,hardworking ,ethical play bets! Gilbert and Romero are phenomenal. I am only sorry I did not find them sooner. I was completely ripped off by A plumbing company..( I so want to say their name but I just cannot, just not who I am). But if you need a plumbing company, call TOP GRADE! Truly wonderful!

I recently used these guys again as I forgot I used them before until they came to give me a quote. Gave me the best quote for a water heater, though higher than advertised when adding in all of the valves, hoses, etc. that they charge to replace. Anyways, they want way above and beyond this time. Everyone deserves a second chance and I am one to give where credit is due. Thank you Ramiro for your hard work!

I had a great experience with Ramiro. He used a high tech camera to inspect my sewer line and was friendly and knowledgable during the whole visit. Definitely my new plumber going forward. Ask for Ramiro, he's the best!

Gilbert did a great job with my clogged shower drain. He was fast, courteous and clean. Even put shoe covers on before entering house.

Amazing service. My new go to plumbers. Actually honored their advertised prices unlike some of other snakes out there. Hydrojet and camera my sewer line. Took their time. Did it right. Hopefully I won't need them anytime soon but would definitely repeat. Ask for Horacio or Luis.

These guys are the real deal! I called TGP&R at night about a leaking water heater. Gilbert got back to me immediately. He was able to quote me a price over the phone and he showed up to replace the water heater the next morning. Reasonable price and great service. I will be recommending him to all my friends.
