I simply cannot say enough about Tomo and his work product. We recently found ourselves without a functioning water heater. With two teens in the house you can imagine the panic. Remembering how terrific Tomo was to work with last time I contacted him first thing in the morning. He responded immediately, came out the same day and fixed our problem for a very reasonable price. I will never use anyone else. Seven years later and he is still providing excellent service.

I have recently done a significant remodel on my 60 year old San Diego house. I used Tomo to do all of the plumbing for a bathroom remodel. As is often the case with these old houses it turned out that most of the old cast iron waste lines were failing. Tomo essentially replaced all of my house sanitary waste plumbing with ABS fittings and then came back to do all of the finish work. He masterminded a fairly complicated copper redo as well. He was fast and efficient. His pricing was very fair. He is particularly good with the ""old"" plumbing in the old inner city neighborhoods. He managed to ""muscle' out the old cast iron fittings by himself. Incredibly hard working guy. No BS. Though he is still young he knows all the tricks with the old stuff as he apprenticed with and old- school plumber. I would use Tomo for any plumbing issue whether it is unplugging a drain or doing a complete plumbing replacement job.

Tomo is the best. I first met him a few years back when he did the plumbing work on my house remodel. Since then I have always gone to him for various projects and repairs on other properties. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and responsive when it matters most. He has helped me through several plumbing emergencies and always comes to the rescue! We had a cracked cast iron pipe in the wall of the bathroom sink. Anytime water went down the drain it spread to the outside of the house. I called some plumbers, they came out and said ""oh it looks bad, we're going to have to replace everything, put in combos...take out the bathroom sink, cut open the floor $1200-$1400."" I then asked for details or at least a basic proposal, they said, ""we don't do that.""

I then went to Yelp and called at least 8 different plumbers, some were busy, some don't do that type of work. I called Tomo's Plumbing, he got back to me quickly and asked for pictures, threw me a ball park quote that was $600 less than the first quote and scheduled a time to check it out. He came out and fixed it without tearing out the sink or floor, replaced the cast iron pipe and put in a trap. He exceeded our expectations, finished quickly, actually thought about the best way to fix our problem and didn't over charge. I highly recommend Tomo's Plumbing.

I want to post a second review of Tomo's Plumbing for good reason. Approximately 3 months ago our hot water heater went out. My first call was obviously to someone I know and trust, Tomo. He came out promptly and installed a new water heater the same day. Professional service as always and to be honest, it was nice to chat with him as he is a great guy. Today marks a fourth visit to our house by Tomo. Nearing the end of escrow on the sale of our house the buyer requested minor fixes. Tomo again was my first call and like before he came the same day to make the necessary repairs / fixes. He is an honest, dependable guy who does quality work at a reasonable price. If only I could say the same of all contractors / handymen! We look forward to Tomo helping us with the inevitable plumbing issues we will face in our new home.....

I reached out to Tomo after we had a flood in the apartment and wanted to replace all the existing plastic pipes in the condo. Tomo is very easy to get hold of, and is always responsive no matter what you need. It is an endearing quality that not a lot of service people have nowadays. He did what we wanted, and suggested some things that we haven't thought of. He's our plumber from now on!!

To put it frankly, Tomo is the BEST. For me, plumbing is an area where it is hard to find an honest, hardworking man like Tomo. He has great customer service skills, and was very honest and straight forward with me. He worked very hard and quickly, so I never felt he was taking advantage of me or my money!
