Thad comes from a family of craftsmen who prioritize quality. He gained 13 years of plumbing experience before obtaining his contractor's license in 1995. His lifelong aspiration was to create a family business that would endure for generations, founded on the values of integrity, quality, and fairness.
Shannon aided Thad's dream by instructing math at both middle and community college levels in the early days. A number of her colleagues turned into TLC's initial customers. Once they began their family, Shannon retired from teaching and applied her math skills to handle the bookkeeping for the expanding company.

Tough to get excited over a plumbing problem, but TLC deserves kudos from our perspective. Needed a failed faucet in a roman tub fixed where access to the underside of the tub was ""tiled over"" by the building contractor. As the water poured into the tub, I went out and turned off the gate valve in the garage where it immediately snapped off inside the brass fixture. ( House is nice, but 18 years old and things happen after so many years. ) Scott from TLC came out and took care of the gate valve and pressure regulator assembly where cutting and soldering in replacement copper piping and brass assemblies were required. ( Not inexpensive, but he showed up the afternoon I called with the equipment required on the truck! ) Next came the roman tub faucet failure. He stopped the gusher of water overnight committing to returning this morning to arrange for permanent repairs. Rather than tearing out tile and the backboard on the face of the tub, Scott pulled the failed faucet and went on a search for a new replacement of a manufacturer discontinued assembly. He drove 100 miles round trip having dropped into a small old fashion ""mom and pop"" plumbing supplier where the owner dug through his stock and found exact replacements for both valve stems. ( This saved us HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS in that his work upon return lasted less than one hour and saved us the nightmare of replacing both drywall and tile in a visible part of our master bathroom. ) We are repeat customers of TLC and highly recommend their services for anyone who desires a licensed and insured plumbing contractor with courteous employees who even wear protective booties while on the premises and clean up after themselves without fail. 5 STARS!

Sarah N.Plumber came out promptly even though it was after 5 when I called for service. Eddie was quick and professional. The cost is probably the going rate...plumbing repairs are never cheap. We are hoping no more bathrooms leaks at the cost of $300 for the call that took less than an hour.
When first confronted with a slab leak, we contacted a plumbing and leak detection company. From there they recommended TLC Plumbing for our plumbing needs. We had a replumb done in our house and found the TLC staff to be very professional and well trained. We also were referred to one of the people they use for drywall and found him to be very good also. We definitely plan to use TLC and their staff again when the need arises. Couldn't have been more pleased with the final outcome.
Quoted $550 to replace a toilet. Got another plumber that recommended buying a toilet ($98) and installing it ($90). That seemed like the honest approach. Glad I didn't go with TLC in the end.
Babygirl M.From the time we placed our service call Ruth was professional and courteous. The service tech Eddie assessed the plumbing issue and repairs were taken care of in a timely manner. Eddie was professional, provided great customer service and courteous a well. Great team work to TLC who provided tender loving care. Thank you!
Horrible company
Do not use
Not honest
They came out 10 times and still left me with another 200 bill to call someone else to fix what they broke and they scratched a new appliance. Horrible Horrible
There bill was also 1200.00 dollars
Found some flooding in the garage on Friday. My husband called a company that we had used previously and waited all day for them to return the call. Never did. He then found TLC Plumbing in a Christian yellow pages book. Called them and received a lot of advice over the phone. David from TLC came out on Monday evening and looked at what needed to be done. He made a couple of suggestions and then let us make the final decision on the route to take. David and another employee came out Tuesday morning to perform the work. Everything was done very professionally and they kept us informed throughout the job. They finished an hour before they said they would which was great and left the place clean! I would definitely use David and TLC again!
I had a waste water backup at the kitchen sink. They came out on a weekday and cleared the line from the outside clean-out. Everything was fine for a couple of days, then the sink backed up again. It happened to be a weekend but I called anyway (prices double on weekends) because the problem persisted. The plumber, a different guy, said the problem was ""different"". Really? Same sink, right. No, he says, the drain INSIDE the house was block now. This should have been checked the FIRST time! No, it's completely different. I am an architect for 40 years. This is just wrong. Total bill for unblocking this one drain? $486. Use this plumber at your own risk.
So I called on a Saturday night and yeah, ok, it did say 24 hour service, but for real? How many people want to answer ""That Call""? Mr. Brent Schmidt came to our rescue! He is 6'7"" of awesome plumbing help!! The price was reasonable and the help was superb. Polite to the end, incredibly knowledgeable, no BS, and insisted on triple-checking that our problem was resolved to our satisfaction. I highly recommend TLC plumbing Inc. and Brent Schmidt as your service specialist.
Will E.I've always had good, timely and reasonably priced plumbing services from TLC in the past. But I guess things have changed, I've attempted to book service with them twice and twice they gave me excuses about why they couldn't show up. Read the full story below.
The first time, they told me the plumbers truck needed a break job. One which took all day. So they no-showed the entire day and offered to book another appointment some other day. Wow, fantastic customer service.
Unfortunately, I would be out of town for 18 days, so it would have to wait until I return.
My wife booked an appointment last week for today [Monday 10/7] between 9-11 AM. I wait until 11 AM before I call: ""oh yes, sorry we forgot about you"" an emergency call by another customer took your spot, so sorry"". So how does tomorrow work for you?"" Ugh, so I wasted my entire morning waiting for someone who never shows and I get no call explaining the situation. Is that TLC??
I told them, obviously my business is not very important to them and I would be finding another plumber. Which I did. I called Mr. Rooter, who said they'd send someone right over. I hope my experience with them will be better? Fingers crossed.
