We didn't know why our water bill was so high. Travis was quick to respond, come out and fix a big leak in a galvanized pipe under our house. He recommended that we get it all dried out before any rotting happened to the foundation and got us in touch with a local company to come out that afternoon to dry out the joist that the leak had soaked. Travis at TK Plumbing stepped up and went above and beyond taking care of our plumbing needs. We've used his services several times in the past and each time he has been to identify the problem and get it corrected.

Most recently we called TK Plumbing to get a new hot water heater installed. I called on Saturday and he set an appt for Monday 10-2pm. By 3:30pm he was finished installing a new Bradford and White 50 gallon heater and having hot water again.

I am a landlord, and sometimes things can get hectic when things like water heaters break or aren't performing correctly. This is not a problem for a professional like Travis at TK Plumbing. Not only is he the one that answers the phone, but he had no problem with communicating with my tenants to coordinate and work around their schedules to get this job done. He was also able to work with an unrelated professional electrician I hired to make sure the wiring was adequate and safe.
Travis worked after hours to get the work done. He was upfront (and accurate!) with his estimate, and communicated clearly over the phone as well as texts. He works fast and with confidence.
Here was the real test- after the (new) water heater was installed, we discovered later that night it wasn't working properly. He answered the phone after hours and we discussed a game plan.
Travis took charge of the situation and coordinated the same electrician coming out during a small window of time (tenant's lunch break from work) to troubleshoot the problem. The problem ended up being a bad part that came out of the factory not working (the electrician tested it for continuity).
Travis saved me and my tenants further inconvenience with his experience, confidence, and experience. I will be calling him in the future for plumbing needs in my other rentals.

Travis came and repaired the work from another Yelp company's subcontracted plumber (PS: that Yelp company happens to have a 5 star rating with over 125 reviews). The 'other plumber' had an unlicensed person do the piping and installed Pex instead of copper without me knowing. Needless to say, once the cast iron tub went in the measurements were off and I was disappointed.

In comes Travis. Accessible by phone. Great availability!! He is super friendly. Respectful (being female and leading the renovations on my place, I have had plenty of people try to take advantage of me bc they think I don't know what I'm talking about). And, pricing...I was concerned this was too good to be true bc his price was unbeatable.

Travis gave me further education on Pex. Explained his preference for copper, which reassured me that I knew I wanted copper. Moved that heavy cast iron tub - BY HIMSELF. Triple checked for any potential for leaks. And was on schedule. I can report no leaks and great pressure at least half a year later.

We ended up using him again to do an ASAP fix of our water regulator and water heater pipe. Again, this was done with great quality and customer service.

Save yourself headaches, time, and money and go with Travis. I look forward to using him again when we get to the kitchen and powder room. As first time homeowners, I'm very grateful we found our go to plumber.
