Our bathroom shower did not have enough hot water. I called several places and they explained a whole gamut of possibilities, ranging from catridge repair to the whole shower wall destruction for the internal pipe repair. I could feel some of them were trying to rip me off.

When I called TK Plumbing and talked with Travis, he also explained it could be a cartridge related issue but will need to check it first. I got the impression of genuineness in that first call itself. That is why I proceeded to invite him to come over and take a look.

When he arrived, first thing he checked was if there is any internal hot water child lock installed for safety. We had moved in recently so did not know the history of the place. Also I don't know the internal settings inside the handle to turn this child lock on or off. But I am surprised other plumbers did not even consider this as a potential root cause.

Anyways, it did turn out to be the lock. So he only charged his fees for the in-house visit and not for anything else. And definitely not for the costly cartridge repair.
He could have easily pointed out things and charged more. But he did not!!

He was honest and got the job done perfectly.

We hired him again for something else very recently and he did a great job with full honesty and integrity again.

I highly recommend Travis for any plumbing job. He knows his stuff and is an honest and genuine person.
