Tidewater Heating & Cooling was first founded as Eastern Shore Geothermal. The increase in geothermal installations highlighted the need for service and repair of recent systems. In our early years, we undertook numerous smaller projects, gradually building a reputation for quality work at fair prices. As word spread, our projects increased in size and complexity, allowing us to grow. In 2019, we adopted the name Tidewater Heating and Cooling to accurately represent our broader service capabilities and to dispel any confusion regarding our specialization in geothermal systems. During this transition, we also acquired Willey’s Plumbing, a respected local business, and welcomed Willey Shorter as our Master Plumber. Today, we continue to expand, with multiple crews ready to install, maintain, and service HVAC and plumbing systems throughout the Mid-Shore.

Joshua Arquiett is from Brasher Falls, NY, a quaint town situated nearer to Canada than to New York City. He holds an AAS in HVAC Engineering Technology from SUNY Canton. This educational background provided him with a strong base to quickly acquire skills in the industry. Following graduation, Josh moved to Easton, Maryland, where he developed his skills and confidence with the help of colleagues and management, leading him to contemplate launching his own business after roughly ten years in the field. Currently, Josh is a licensed Master HVAC technician with 19 years of experience in the field.
