Sal was godsend. I had a severely clogged sewer issue. Sal was referred to me by my neighbor. He was very timely and responsive . Sent one of his plumbers as soon as he was able. I had Thumbs Up come by as my toilet has been leaking from its base when being flushed. It's causing water to pool and leak into my crawl space. I cannot recommend Thumbs Up unless you're comfortable being ripped off for convenience.

Getting an appointment was very simple, I called on a Friday. While I didn't get an answer, I was texted back quickly and we arranged an appointment for Monday. After explaining the issue, the plumber was absolutely certain that the issue was the wax ring for the toilet. I'm personally skeptical of this as we had already replaced the wax ring ourselves just to have the issue persist. I was quoted an astronomical $375 for a wax ring replacement! If you've done this before yourself, you'll know this is a less than 30 minute job. If you haven't, watch a tutorial on Youtube and form your own opinion.

When I said ""no thanks"", the plumber became combative and said that I would need to pay for a service call since they diagnosed the issue for me. I mentioned that I hadn't agreed to pay for a service call and was just looking for an estimate (I've had other plumbers come since who asked for nothing for the estimate). After saying this, he argued back stating that they had even told me it was a wax ring issue over the phone, so why did I waste their time coming out? I never spoke to them over the phone and was put straight to voicemail when I called (we coordinated the appointment via text), so this exchanged was fabricated. I refused to pay anything. The plumber stormed out leaving the top off the toilet tank and the water still off for me to turn back on.

Either I had a bad plumber in an otherwise good group of plumbers or the majority of reviewers don't know much about plumbing but had a positive experience based on how simple and quick it is to get work done with Thumbs Up.

Sal was a pleasure to work with from start to end. Fair prices & he was willing to work directly with our tenant for scheduling & access to the unit taking a lot of weight off our shoulders (which is a plus since we called another company before who said no to this request). Sal answered the phone as soon as I called and walked me through some trouble shooting steps. I sent him some pics of my water heater, and he was able to determine my best step was to call the manufacturer first before I go replacing it. Our interaction was limited, but I really appreciated Sal's professionalism, and he'll be the first person I call the next time I run into a plumbing jam or need to replace my water heater. I love this company. Sal is very responsive with phone calls and texts. They've come in with middle bids that are affordable. Their work is very good. The guys finish on time and leave your site clean. They have replaced our main sewer line, flushed out our lines, replaced a sink p-trap and installed a new dishwasher. All great work!

I have used them to address a variety of plumbing issues at two residences and to check the quality of the work on a remodeled bathroom. they do a great job fixing those things that your husband cannot and i highly recommend them!
