We have been using Sal and his team for months now. We have had various plumbing and gas related repairs needed at our Oakland home. They are always on time and explain what needs to be done. They do quality work every time. One time i tried to install my new dishwasher and it was leaking everywhere. I was ready to return it. They came out, diagnosed the issue and fixed it. They do awesome work every time we use them. I couldn't be happier with their service. Each Technician that comes out is friendly, communicative and efficient. I had an urgent issue to replace a water heater and Sal, Edgar, and his team were incredibly responsive, professional, and agile in problem solving around the constraints that came up. The job wasn't as straightforward as originally thought but they were able to fix the issue and clear blockers along the way to get the job done. We came home from vacation to find our water main at our 85 year old home had a serious leak. EBMUD confirmed it was our side, so lucky us, we get to pay to fix it. Took a few days to get different approaches/estimates from four plumbers and found that Sal from Thumbs Up had the least invasive and most affordable approach to replace the old galvanized water main with new copper line. Edgar and his worker showed up the next day to start the project which required some troubleshooting and creative fixes and a lot of digging! They were super polite, on time, communicative, and genuinely wanted to help us get the water back on asap. Thanks, guys! Our new/favorite plumbers from now on! Highly recommend.

We broke our main water line and Sal and his team were able to come out and repair it in less than one hour! Super responsive and comparable pricing as others! We had other plumbing service providers check out the work needed, but they were not able to fix it immediately and requested an appointment the following day. With a main water line break, we needed it repaired immediately so we can have water back to our house. Thumbs up Rooter and Plumbing has special equipment that could repair the pipe with residual water leak - no soldering needed! They truly came to our rescue! Highly recommend!!
