You probably read a lot of reviews that praise individuals and you might think its overrated, fake, or embellished but let me reassure you when you read something about JUSTIN, it's all true. Came up to our cabin for a wonderful snow/ski trip and my heater wouldn't turn on. As I was panicking because I planned a house full of people, Justin came to the rescue. Was able to asses, correct, and get my heater working within hours. He took the time to explain why it broke, and what to do to prevent future repairs. Justin is authentic, honest, and a pleasure. Call Thrifty for your mountain needs. You wont be sorry.

In Crestline and selling our home. As always some issues will pop up and Thrifty Plumbing worked with us and our schedule to make sure the work was done properly, documented properly and exact quotes were given. Justin came out, gave us our quotes, we contacted the realtors involved and got the agreement on work to be done. Justin came back and did the work, ALL before anyone else would even schedule an appointment. WOW. Great prices on top of great service. The realtors up here would do well to advise their clients that one call to Thrifty will yield satisfaction and they simply keep their word.

My water heater in my new home stopped working, so I called Thrifty Plumbing on Monday morning to set up an appointment. I explained over the phone that I was out of the area for the entire week until early Friday afternoon, so the only time I was available was after 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The receptionist, Valerie, scheduled me for an appointment on Friday from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. I also had several questions for her which she replied, ""I'm not a plumber, so I don't know,"" but told me she would have the plumber call me by Thursday to answer any questions I had.

The plumber never called, but on Thursday morning, I received a voicemail from Valerie, stating my appointment had been rescheduled for Friday morning from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m., for which I had specifically stated I would be unavailable.

I called back and explained I would not be able to switch my original appointment. Valerie told me she would call the plumber to see what she could do and would ""call back in 10 minutes."" She never did.

I'm now scrambling to find someone to fix my broken water heater. I don't know if Thrifty is going to send a plumber between 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. on Friday, but if they do, the property's entirely locked up and no one will be in town to receive them.

With all the rave reviews for this company, I had high hopes for my own experiences. However, I'm unimpressed and highly dissatisfied with their lack of professionalism and service, and sadly, no closer to getting hot water for the upcoming weekend in the new home.

As good as it gets, up the hill or down. Over the 45 years of dealing with plumbers, I think I have a handle on GOOD. These people ARE GOOD. They follow-up get the right parts and have FAIR PRICES. Sure, they are UP the hill but I'm comparing them to everyone I have known...

Justin is AWESOME! I completely agree with the other reviews that mention his knowledge, professionalism, and honesty. He came over to our cabin on short notice to fix some plumbing issues (a DIY dishwasher installation gone bad, leaking toilets, dripping shower, etc). He was very kind, patient and talked me through the issues.
I also called him with what I thought was a plumbing emergency (which turned out to be just our guests using all of the hot water...), and he immediately returned my call on a Friday evening. He was willing to help again, despite a busy schedule.
I'll be calling Justin for all of our plumbing needs on the mountain!
