Miguel was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. His work was excellent and he gave a clear, detailed description. of the repair to our plumbing.

Stacey was great! My kitchen sink had foul odor and she explained what the possible issue or issues could be. So she went to work, took a couple pipes out, cleaned them up and I am odor free in the sink! As always, she did a great and very neat job!
She has done other plumbing jobs and has done a very through job. I highly recommend her along with Thousand Oaks Plumbing!

T.O. Plumbing responded quickly to our request for bids on Yelp and they had available openings soonest, as well. Tyler was quick to arrive and got the plugged toilet cleared in no time.
They also had a free camera inspection that I took advantage of.
When I first moved in, another company had offered the camera inspection along with clearing a kitchen sink line and they showed me areas where the tar-and-paper tubing used for residential sewage lines in the 1960's was starting to buckle and give way to corrosion and pressure. But they wanted to dig a trench in my custom-surfaced driveway to remove and replace the tar-and-paper line and had no intention of doing anything about the driveway after they were done. Not only was that a non-starter, but I found out later that night that the ""Your original main sewer line is ancient and needs replacement"" sale is often a scam to book work that isn't required.
But when T.O. plumbing had the free camera inspection offer, I decided I'd use it to see if the main line under my property was the same as the original inspection or if anything had changed. Contrary to my expectations, the second inspection showed things had gotten worse. In fact, the removal of palm trees on my property (a couple years after the original inspection) had actually made things worse: The roots of the trees that were removed had reacted to the removal by trying to spread out and find new sources of nutrition. So, before they died of lack-of-sunlight, those old trees made a valiant attempt to break into the sewer line for water. The result was a bump on the bottom of the tube that made slow-moving solids build up and begin blocking passage. So, in my case (and completely self-inflicted), my original sewer line really was starting to have problems. Furthermore, since the speed of build-up is entirely dependent on the usage of the line and nobody can predict how much the line will be used how, there was no way to predict when the the little blockage problem would become a drastic impassable obstruction.
Fortunately, T.O. Plumbing had a crew that was familiar with a newer approach to the problem that doesn't require digging a trench through the concrete on a driveway. For less money than the unmentioned other guys, they dug a hole at my house foundation and were able to remove the 3"" (house pipe) to 4"" (property main) connector and pull some kind of a plastic line through the dirt on my property, pushing the old tar-and-paper tubing out to a hole where my property line met the city's sewer line and discarding the old stuff inch-by-inch. By the time they were done, their plastic line had replaced the tar-and-paper line using the same channel through the dirt under my driveway -- and they didn't have to ruin my driveway in the process! They then replaced the adaptive connectors to my house and the city's pipes and put the dirt back in the holes. My front garden and my front lawn barely show any signs that 10-foot deep holes were dug there.
The job was delayed twice by the unusually heavy rains of early 2023, but those rains actually helped to soften the ground and make it easier for the guys to hand-dig two 6'l x 6'w x 10'd holes. The surprising part for me was that Jesse Navarro and his team got it all done in just one day!
Nice job, guys!
I wouldn't recommend replacing the main sewer line on your property unless a camera inspection shows it's really really necessary (get two with a couple years between them so you can see progress over time). However, if you see for yourself that you really do need that replacement, the guys at T.O. Plumbing know how to get it done with minimal disruption to your property -- and the cost wasn't too bad, either!

Worst plumber/company ever. I called for a quote for a hot water recirculator. John came out the next day. First he checked the water for chlorine levels, which I didn't need or ask for. He found the water high in chlorine so he could try to sell me a whole home water purification system, which I didn't need or ask for. This was SCAM 1.
Then he went out to the hot water heater and determined that it needed replacement, so he quoted me an insanely high price for a tankless. This was SCAM 2.
He eventually quoted me an insanely high price for a water recirulator. SCAM 3.
I asked him if he could install two water filters for my RO under sink water filtration system. This should have taken him a minute to do as a courtesy. He said he would have to charge me. OK. I'm thinking, maybe $25.00? $487.00! What a total rip-off. This was SCAM 4.
Once he quoted me this price, I knew I would never use this company.
It gets worse.
When I came home that evening, I found I had no hot water. No water coming out of the hot water side at all.
I called EIGHT times between 5:00 and 7:00 PM. Always got their answering service and NEVER got a call back.
This morning I found a great plumber who asked if I could text him pix of the hot water heater. I did. He determined that John had shut off the hot water valve. Over the phone, He walked me through how to turn it back on and...hot water restored.
I would NEVER EVER use T.O. Plumbing.

Stacie arrived on time and assessed and explained what needed to be done and gave a quick estimate.
She proceeded to complete the work promptly. Very professional and good experience.

Alberto came out to clean all of our outside drains. He was so kind, knowledgeable, professional, and sweet. I highly recommend him!!

Alberto was very friendly and went above and beyond to get all of our drain lines cleared out using the hydrojet. Very happy with the result.

Brad was great fixed our plumbing fixtures and explained everything he was going to do and what he completed at a reasonable price I will definitely use TO plumbing again

If your looking for pain and anguish with a healthy dose of dishonesty and unreliability look no further this is the Company for you. I had them come out to fix a shower head wand in Malibu. After the technician tried to fix it and made it worse he priced up a $300 replacement and gave me an estimate of 3-4 days. A week later I called to see if the part was in. I was told by the technician it would be a few more days. A week after that I called again. I got lots of excuses as to his busy schedule etc... I explained I really needed the part had short term renters coming, he generously offered to come out and put in a temporary one for a service fee of $100 and the cost of the part. I declined and asked when the one I ordered would be in. I was told another week, I suspect the privy order was never placed. I called the office twice to confirm over the next week and the second time was told the part was in and he could come on Sunday. I explained I would be coming from Palm Springs to Malibu it was a 6-7 hour round trip and to be sure the part was in and he was really going to show up. I called the office again Thursday the day before explaining again how long a drive and to please make sure he was going to show as they had a 9 am time frame and I was leaving at 4AM the next morning to meet him. I got a call 8:00 am to let me know the technician would be there. At 8:45 AM just as I was arriving at the house to meet him I get a text saying the part came in but in the wrong color. I get the same would I like to spend an extra $200 for a temporary one. I tell him first how pissed I am after me 4 hour drive and ask that he send me pictures of the chrome shower head that came in instead of the brushed nickel figuring I might just live with it. Turns out he can't produce the photo. My guess the part was never ordered. I speak to the office who while understanding can't do anything, but she is going to have a manger call me. Guess what no call. After waiting a few more hours I go to Home Depot with my hose and shower wand and the sales guy sells me a $32 hose replacement in the right color and I go home and install it my self in 5 minutes. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the $300 shower head it just needed a hose he could have got at Home Depot. Like I said in the beginning if your looking for a company to waste your time and money, not fix your issue and get a healthy dose of dishonesty this is the place. The owner should be ashamed. I will do my best to repost this review on every social media site I can find to warn others off as a public service to my follow humans.
