I found Thompson Heating and Air on yelp, and scheduled an estimate to install AC in our home. Darrell came out, and was very professional. He assessed our situation, and never pressured us to do anything we did not want. In the ended, I decided to go with Thompson because they were competitive with pricing, and very responsive to email questions and calls during the bid process. I could tell they were very busy, but was never too busy to quickly answer simple questions or adjust the quote. Some of the other highly reviewed companies just did not feel as responsive, or it felt like they were ""Too busy for your questions/concerns"" We decided to replace our almost 20 year old furnaces, and install 2 new Maytag AC condensers. On installation day, the install team was prompt, very professional, friendly, and you could tell that they knew what they were doing. The project only took 1 and half days, and was minimal disturbance to our home. At the finish of the project, they showed me what they had done, and it was obvious that they were very proud of their work. Everything worked great, looked great, and we are very happy with the results. Summers will never be the same again. Thanks Thompson Heating and Air! Great job!

Arrived a day early during a heat spell!! The AC went out over the weekend so I had to get someone out and called in for the first available tech, I was given a Tuesday appointment but the Tech squeezed me in a day early on his way home!! Now that is great customer service! I couldn't be happier w the professionalism and eager to please attitude of the technicians. Thank you very much!

Found Thompson heating and air through Yelp for a conversion from solar water and heat to conventional AC and heat. I got 4 estimates, and Garett (owner) from Thompson was mid range. Garett was very knowledgeable and personable, able to suggest different options, never felt like it was a hard sell (different from the other companies who were pushing for a contract that day). I felt more at ease with his knowledge and proposal than with the other companies. His work crew was great, started and finished on time as proposed. Chris (project manager) kept me updated each day of the job. They were all very professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks guys!

This is a wonderful Company - was referred to them after I had been looking around at other companies and just never felt comfortable with anyone that had come to give me quotes. When I called Thompson Heating and Air the Office girl who answered was as sweet as could be and I know right off this was a good sign. Then when Garret came out to give me a quote he made it all sound so easy and simple and anything can be done ( unlike the other companies that had come out ) Their pricing was reasonable but most of all the the Team of Guys that came to install the A/C unit were WONDERFUL. They were so nice and explained all they were doing and just went the extra mile with all the work they were doing. It was a great experience and I'd Highly Recommend Thompson Heating and Air to ANYONE who wanted a Job Well Done.

The entire team at Thompson Heating & Air did a remarkable job! We needed a new HVAC unit to replace our old furnace and add an AC. We gathered three competing bids, and Thompson came in close to the others in price. Garett, the owner, was instrumental from the very beginning to assess and provide the best option for our home. We eventually chose Thompson due to their in-depth knowledge, reasonable cost, and overall track record. Then Chris, Mike, and Lonnie arrived at our home to get the whole installation completed in ""one single day"". Super efficient! All three guys worked diligently, were professional and courteous all the way through until the very end. They respected our home, and, most importantly, left it without a trace of dirt when they were finished. The work was completed in the beginning of May and here we are, at the end of the month, our new unit working flawlessly. Excellent communication before and throughout the project. Veronica, a gal at their office, was also a pleasure to deal with. Don't settle for anyone but Garett's team for your heating/cooling needs!

We had four other bids to do both a new furnace and air conditioner. I spike to Garrett when I made our first appointment. He came out and met with us, gave us a good price and we were very impressed with his professionalism and demeanor. The day of the appointment the crew arrived when they said they would and finished when they said they would. My husband and I were there when they finished and he checked the job and felt they did a very professional job, had it up and working before we left. Chris the lead installer was great - we were really impressed - he explained the system completely in side and out,to us and our tenants - cleaned up everything before they left even shinning the aluminum plating. We couldn't be happier. We would highly recommend Thompson Air and heating for a job well done, quality of the work, price of the job and caliber of the people who did the job. This is a family run business and they are doing it right. They handle Vista too.

Great experience with Thompson this week. They got someone out very quickly. He was courteous, on time, etc. He fixed the clog in the condenser drain AND my slow draining sink while he was at it. Great service, reasonable prices. Thanks!!

I found Garrett on Yelp. He quickly came out to assess my non-working a/c, which was broken mysteriously and 3 previously contractors had told me to spend $4k to put in a new a/c. Garrett looked at the a/c and said it still had 10 years of life to it, so I spent $400 to fix it and he guaranteed his work. Two weeks later, all the new refrigerant leaked out again. Garrett came quickly to assess the situation. Eventually we found out a contractor who was putting drywall in the storage room had cut the copper pipe coming through the room, put a regular plumbing fixture to extend the pipe and then bend the other portion of pipe against the wall in order to frame the wall. The regular plumbing fixture can't withstand the pressure so it cause the leak (inside the ceiling) and the bend pipe prevent the flow of refrigerant.

In the end, it was a big job to fix the a/c, but was still much cheaper than buying a brand new a/c (the problem would still be there because the copper pipe in the wall would not be replaced). During that process, I witnessed a team of Thompson's professionals at work, efficient, skilled, knowledgeable and friendly - the best anyone can expect.
