Thomas did an excellent job repairing my plumbing. I was fitted into the schedule for a same day appointment and my work schedule was accommodated. Very professional and friendly.

Great customer service! I had a leak and Thomas was able to diagnose the cause and fix it within a couple hours. He was very accommodating, friendly, and a true professional. I will definitely go with these guys again.

I called on Thompson to replace my water heater based on their Oceanside based business as well as their Yelp reviews. Although they had to work around my flooring guys, they were prompt, courteous and professional. Mark and his team did a great job. I also called them back to replace my nightmare plumbing - Quest pipe, with Pex throughout. Mark and team did another great job and I wouldn't hesitate to call them back for future plumbing issues!

AwesomeJob!

I had a leaking toilet which was probably diagnosed and repaired for the agreed price which was fair. Arrived on time and left areas clean.

My mother in law's heater went out last week. She called a company who's name starts with a phone number. They gave her an estimate of $2800 to repair or $5300 to replace.
I told her I would get a second quote just to be safe. I called Thompson Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning. They got me on the schedule for the next day. After a 15 minute analysis by Garrett, it was found that a $1.99 ground plug was defective and needed to be replaced. However, during his inspection he found a crack which was allowing gas to escape. He was able to order the part, and install it within 2 days. Crisis averted and $5300 saved!

This is the type of service and customer care which will make me a customer for life. Garrett was professional and efficient. He didn't try to up sell me in any way and was honest about the repairs needed and the potential life expectancy of our aging heater.

I highly recommend Thompson Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning.

I called SDG&E to come out to review the job Thompson had done for me last month when they installed a new furnace in my home. The SDG&E technician was so impressed that he asked me who had done the work. He said that, as an SDG&E employee, he could not directly refer any customers to a specific company, but he could say that he knew of an SDG&E customer who had been very satisfied with a job done by Thompson Heating and Air Conditioning. I felt relieved and happy that I had gone with Thompson.

Relocating the washer and dryer is no easy task. My husband and I interviewed and received several quotes from various plumbing companies. Mark at Thompson Plumbing was the only one who considered various solutions to efficiently relocate our washer and dryer while saving us money. All the other companies only gave us one very expensive option and acted like the task was almost too big for them to handle. The customer service we received from Mark was above average and his work ethic and quality of work was of high standard. Within 2 days we had our washer and dryer up and running in it's new location with no sweat off our backs. I truly am grateful for the service we received and we will be using Thompson Plumbing for all of our plumbing, heating and AC needs. I highly recommend Mark as your go to guy for any plumbing needs!

I contacted them to look at a wall heater. They were extremely professional to work with. Follow-up calls and emails were greatly appreciated. The technician came out and determined that they needed
to replace a 3' flue vent with proper 4' vent including asbestos removal.
They arranged the asbestos removal and the replacement back to back which was very helpful. I just thought the price tag was high - $1589.
Very pleased with the work and the coordination. I would use them again but would probably get other quotes. In this case the renters had no heat so I was more interested in getting this addressed asap and relied heavily on the ratings other customers gave them.

I waited a season before I placed my review. I at this point just don't see this company fully skilled. I had them put a brand new Heat and AC unit. I had to go round and round with them. Did the whole didn't return calls, they would say, ""oh we need this part or that part or it's on another truck or it didn't get here."" Didn't show up at set times. I haired them To do a brand new install when they first came the place had been gutted. There was no reason for them to mess up this install.

I had to go back and forth so many times it was exhausting. There where lots of excuses why my brand new unit couldn't heat or cool my place one being that I needed Furniture. That's strange because my place in Palm Springs didn't have Furniture but my place was cool and hot when needed. It's just too much trying to get them to do what they say they will do, on time and at the price they quoted. Over all I had to do 2 installs with this company sadly I feel they are learning as they go. At the customers cost.

The types of emails I had to send:

Thanks for taking my call and getting a technician out. After he concluded the diagnostic he came to the conclusion that there were two obstructions and the fan time was set too low. He also let us know that the TXV needed to be replaced. This will be 2nd time this process needed to happen on a brand new air handler unit that has only been used twice and both times this was a problem, so I discontinued use. I was informed The new AC has an obstruction on the out side where the lines are connect.

I have been really chill about it but this is such a time suck. So many different people you have sent out and I still don't have a clean install. No one wants to install a brand new unit and already have to take it a part.

Veronica and Derrell have been understanding thanks for that. But I worked hard to pay you and believed in the quality that I was getting but this just doesn't seem right.

I would like to get this wrapped up correctly can we set up dates and times with a person that can do the work with all the parts they need.

Hello darrell

I have become a concerned client. We have had a few problems with our install, I feel like I have been a good sport about it but I feel now like I'm in limbo. I feel like I have to know what's wrong with the system and then wrangle everyone to the same page but I'm not an HVAC guy and that's why I went with the best so I would not have to think about it. I feel pretty bad for paying so much to find out it's broke from the install (I'm sure you can under stand not wanting to take apart a brand new Machine)
I came into the building today to find the unit on just running humming and it's off on the wall thermometer but the unit won't turn off. I finally opened the gray power supply and flipped over the power and it turned off. I didn't really want to think this much about this that's why I paid full tilt and bought what was suggested. Now it's stressing me a bit.

How can I have HERS testing if the unit doesn't blow hot or cold air I had to lol it up on line. It's getting very hard to explain what's going on. I just wanted a nice looking unit that would keep the place cold in the summer and hot in the winter. Please advise so we can all be on the same page. To you this might not be a big deal you see it all the time but on my side it's getting really hard to explain.

Darrell you have been great and so has Veronica and Chris and the Air Guy. I still feel like I'm in the right hands I am really asking for an understanding peace of mind and that the unit I have is going to provide my studio with heating and cooling just from the thermometer super easy without problems. Also the city inspector came out they don't have record of Thompson Heating And Air pulling a permit. So I pulled one (yet another). The unit did not initially pass as the wrong ""lines""where used, I stated from the start this was a commercial property. Again I am still a happy guy and want to see this through and continue to work with you and your team on this and other projects but I felt I needed to let you know what this looks like from my side. I will be there on Thursday the 13 between 10-12. I'm sure it will all be fine. Darrell I attached Veronica because she's been in the loop.
