This company is corrupt! I have two units and one was not cooling completely which happens every year. When he came out and put Freon to get that one working again immediately after he left the other unit (that is only two years old) was completely broken and leaking all over my garage!!! I saw him messing with both of them. Of course I had to call him to come out to fix the unit he broke and after he fixed that one and left the other unit that was working perfectly fine was now leaking water all over my garage and was also broken. Keep in mind I only needed service but now have two broken units. This technician diagnosed me with mold however I just put an LED light in my system four months ago so I would never have a mold problem. What a clown. Fortunately I called another company who came out who said that there was NO MOLD. Of course third generation plumbing wanted to stick me with a large bill that my insurance company would not pay for when that wasn't even the problem. When I have called them to express my concerns and frustration they put me on hold and never come back to the phone. They are liars and thieves. Stay away from these con artists! I pity anyone that has had to deal with them but didn't know better. How are they still on business? I'd hate to have their karma.

We have a home warranty through American Home Shield. Our hot water heater went out. The water started not being as hot as usual, then within a week it turned completely I cold. Got an appointment with Third Generation Plumbing through AHS. I paid my $100 fee and they sent a plumber out from Third Generation Plumbing. The plumber checked the heater, and wrote on the invoice there was some corrosion because it's 12 years old and the heating element was bad. I was with him the whole time he was here. (Never a mention of a power surge). He said he would recommend a replacement water heater be installed. Great, right. But instead the company sent a report to AHS that there was a power surge. Which just so happens, ISN'T COVERED BY WARRANTY. It appears we have a scam going on. They tell the customer one thing and AHS something totally different. My wife called Third Generation and asked for a copy of what they sent to AHS. She was told that they didn't have time and refused to send a copy of what they told AHS. With that she hung up on my wife. We've explained this to AHS, but it seems that they don't care. Please see the documentation below. I've included links and photos. Stay far away!!! Stay far away!! After the tech came to clean the coils of out WORKING AC, it was not working anymore. Someone came out, told us it was working (a lie) my husband showed him and he took a new reading where it registered that it was not working. Of course, I called the office first thing in the morning. Put on hold multiple times and overall was on hold for 45 min. During this time, a lady told me to stay on hold and stop hanging up that the person will talk to me when they want to. She spoke with me like I was her naughty child then .... placed me on hold again. She even at some point answered the phone and I could hear her typing in the background without talking to me. I finally spoke with someone who said I was waiting for her and that I (basically should not be so entitled that there were many people in Florida without air). Even though they are the ones who broke the AC her job was done because she had spoken to our rental company and if I dared call them again she would report me to the authorities (Not exactly sure for what - but anyway). Every single person in the office I had to deal with had an attitude that they were doing me a huge favor.

Their """"free quotes"""" sure are EXPENSIVE! I called them to get a """"free quote today!"""" as their website clearly shows and they said it is $85 to send someone out for the estimate and that fee is waived if you use them. Very misleading.

Have waited for thirty minutes today and every time the phone rings I am put on hold again. Apparently this business needs no more clients.

My husband called in and requested someone provide a quote to fix a leak under our sink. The company took his information and stated that someone would call to schedule an appt. The following day, a technician arrives without confirmation or without a range of the quote. I allowed him to come in and provide an estimate. He identified the issue as a leaking strainer, I asked what the replacement cost (he stated standard rate or premium rate) and I went with the lower price since we didn't need a premium stainer for the sink. I walked out of my office and he showed me the leak was fixed with a new strainer and plenty of plumbing putty. He left the sink with water and suds remaining (no problem as I can remove the plug) when I noticed that the strainer he put in was a used stainer with damage to the rim (which he showed me and joked he wouldn't be using that). He left the box with the new stainer in the house on the shelf. REALLY, WTF!! I got a damaged and used stainer for the cost of $185? Thanks for fixing the leak but this is a scam using a damaged used stainer. I guess you should have just used my current strainer and kept the new one for yourself. Thanks a lot!!

Front office lady is a Big C word. Literally mid sentence switched me to hold and then refused to pick up my calls after. The report sent to AHS was completely the opposite of what the technician told us. Tech was great, but it seems like this group is an insurance scam, they are obviously completing the report from staff at the office and not the field - and filling in whatever to make AHS happy and collect their cost for coming out. I've never in my life dealt with a shadier company. Absolutely don't hire them for anything.

Was referred to this company through our home warranty AHS. The technician that came to look at the leaking faucet was very friendly however, the report submitted to AHS did not match the report that was given to us. They added additional false information in the report given to AHS so our claim would ultimately be denied. It seems this company is trying to obtain business directly by ensuring claims are denied through home warranty companies.

American Home Shield sent Third Generation Plumbing out to look at my shower valve. They told me it needed to be replaced. However in their report to American Home Shield they wrote that the valve was broken due to debris. I was there with the technician the whole time. Not once was there a mention of debris and I looked at the valve myself. I also received a report from the technician directly that did not mention debris. American Home Shield then denied my claim because the tech wrote in the separate private report, that they will not share, that debris were stopping the valve from working. In my opinion this was 100% intentional on their part. They are aware of what the home warranty will cover and they write the report so that you are denied. Once American Home Shield is out of the picture they can rack up the bill on a customer directly. They are essentially using American Home Shield as an advertising service, and American Home Shield doesn't care because it's a claim they won't have to cover. Last but not least the customer service lady lied and told me that there was not a separate report given to American Home Shield and was extremely rude about it. Another person later confirmed that the information she gave me was incorrect.

This company is horrible ,not professional at all ,they have no customer service skills whatsoever. They are not genuinely interested in customers feelings or what is right or what is wrong,, the technician just comes to do what they were told (but agrees that they do not think it is a good idea )... trust me ,stay away ...!!!
