I couldn't sleep Friday night so I got out of bed and went into our family room and I heard a sound that wasn't normal and after a while I realized it was water gushing out of a pipe. There was no sign of the water in or around the house but when I shut off the main valve into the house the sound went away, so I realized that there must be a broken pipe under the house. The next morning I called The Plumbing Company and when Phil arrived he crawled through our two, cramped, crawl spaces. He couldn't reach the break because it was in an inaccessible area, but he figured out a way to bypass that area. To make a long story short he came back with a helper on SUNDAY, bypassed and fixed the break in the pipe to the house and installed copper pipe out to our irrigation line which used to be PVC and had broken in the past. They did a very nice job.

The folk came out to my house and did the roto-rooter job on the main line. I was told that the blockage was due to tree roots and was charged $272.00. A week later, the line was backup again and I called back the comapny and was told that I have to pay $272-10% discount if I want them to come out again. If the clog was due to tree roots, how could it possible that the roots will grow back just within a week. Obviously, they did not do a good job the first time. Hell NO! will not reccommend.

It was Saturday evening and I knew I had a real problem - so much so I had to shut off the water at the meter. Not expecting to be able to find anyone to help at that hour, I was encouraged to find that The Plumbing Company was 'open' and Judy called me back within 10 minutes.

Phil showed up at the house at 8a on Sunday morning right on time - just the smiling, friendly face you want to see when you have what could be a major repair. How could he be so happy to be here this early on a Sunday? He patiently listened as I explained what happened and then methodically started to diagnose the problem. Within 30 minutes, he had figured out what happened, established a workaround, and had the house back on the water line (insert happy family cheers here). All this for a rate that was, well, unbelievable.

I highly recommend The Plumbing Company for any plumbing related need and will certainly be calling them again when needed in the future.

What a TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE! At Christmas we were expecting 20 people in our home all day -- and, of course, our plumbing backed up just before the event. We had previously used another plumber and we called them and were very disappointed by their failure to fix the problem. We suffered with very limited plumbing through Christmas, and then right after New Year's Day we sought to have the situation corrected -- which the original (now, prior) plumbing company failed to solve on 3 different efforts. So, in desperation and in reliance on reviews in Yelp, we reached out to The Plumbing Company. What a DIFFERENCE -- and what a successful result.

On the Saturday after New Year's we finally contacted The Plumbing Company and spoke with Judy and then Phil -- a ""supervisor"". Phil was very knowledgeable and came to our home within THIRTY MINUTES of our telephone conversation. He ended up being here for almost two hours -- snaking from within the backed up shower out to the main, and then again from the main back into the house. He had to use three different machines as the problem continued to be seeming intractable. Finally the situation was resolved. The price (""flat-pricing"") Phil quoted was, to us, very reasonable -- about $272, higher than the prior plumber but well worth it. Phil was professional, personable and --most important of all -- knew what he was doing and wasn't going to ""give up"" until he solved our problem, which he did.

In the future (plumbing problems in old houses seem to never end) TPC (and Phil) will be our go-to plumber -- for us and our many adult children who live in the area. In fact, we have arranged with Phil to come out again to do some additional work re-seating our fancy Toto ""automatic"" toilet, and we actually look forward to his return with the additional people necessary to do this next project. He is also taking over responsibility for regular maintenance of our ""high-end"" water heater and radiant heating system/

Don't bother calling anyone else -- TPC was terrific. And within 30 minutes after Phil left us, Judy (from the office) called to make sure everything was accomplished as promised, which it was. She was also very gracious, pleasant and reassuring.

USE these folks -- based on this experience I am sure that you will be pleased with the responsiveness, the quality of the work (everything was left clean and dry!), and the price.

With a leaking toilet and clogged drain, we needed have someone come out in the middle of the night. Our first call was another plumber we had worked with, but they were not available. We didn't know anything about The Plumbing Company but saw the good reviews so we gave them a chance. Phil came out within the hour, it was 2am and he went straight to work, clearing the drain, removing the toilet and then using a machine to clear out the drain even more. He was efficient and worked hard, and found that the water was still draining slowly. There was probably another clog further down the drain and he suggested using a camera. The camera work is pricey but I wanted to know with assurance that we'd found the problem. With the immediate problem solved, Phil came back in two days with a camera and the machine to clean out the drain all the way to the vertical stack but before the main sewer line. The camera showed very clearly all the joins in the pipe and Phil explained the potential problems and recommended toilets which would send more water down the drain to avoid this problem in the future. Throughout both visits, Phil was pleasant and knowledgeable, and he didn't charge us for his time in talking to us about solutions after he finished his work. He also took extra time at the beginning to examine and open the cleanout outside the house as a precaution to ensure we didn't back up the house's sewer main in case the clog had turned out to be further that we thought.

As an aside -- Phil also recommended another contractor to do some water damage work, and we trusted his recommendation, and they are doing a fantastic job so far. We will review them separately.

Judy picked up my call Friday 9:45pm, not able to send someone out but did provide tip to release main sewer line pressure so the waste water is not backup inside the house.

Phil came to unclog my sewer line on Sat, the quote is more than double the cost I paid to a different plumber last time, since I just need to get it done I accepted the high cost. For total of 30 mins of work to pay that price is way too much. I should be patient and find another plumber.

However, Judy is great and she also called back to make sure that the job was done right.

Phil & Judy Save Christmas Party! Yep... Saturday afternoon - just two hours before we were to start our festivities - we had toilets not flushing and sewage backing up in the tub and shower. We were amazed how many plumbers only work M-F and no weekends. Others could come out for an extra charge later that night or tomorrow. Sadly, the party seemingly must be cancelled. Finally, as one last attempt we make the call to The Plumbing Company. The phone was promptly answered by Judy with enthusiasm. She listens to the problem, and understands exactly how this could ruin our planned affair. She says she will see what she could do. Within 5 mins she calls back with great news. Phil is in the neighborhood and will be here within a half hour. Phil arrives, quickly diagnoses the situation, gives us a reasonable quote and one hour later we have running toilets again. The festivities are set to start in 30 minutes and we are good to go! Thank you to The Plumbing Company for going out of their way to fix what could have been How The Grinch Stole our Christmas Party!
