The Plumbinator
Company Overview
As a leading plumbing contractor, The Plumbinator LLC stands out. Our specialty lies in identifying and fixing water leaks, even in difficult situations such as slab, yard, and wall/ceiling leaks. We specialize in sewer leak location and repair, safeguarding the integrity of your plumbing system. We specialize in cast iron pipe repair and replacement, utilizing advanced tunneling methods to keep disruption to a minimum. We also excel in Kitec pipe spot/section repair and offer full replacement services. Our clients enjoy our expertise in regular and tankless water heaters, guaranteeing a thorough plumbing solution.
Being a family-owned company, we emphasize old-fashioned service and customer care. Before founding The Plumbinator LLC, I worked for a large plumbing company and was appalled by their treatment of customers. They exploited individuals in need, leaving them without water or a working toilet. We are committed to ethical practices, treating our customers with the respect they deserve as our friends and neighbors. We support our LGBTQIA+ customers, offering a safe and expert plumbing experience in their residences. Our pricing is fair, and you can trust us not to charge for unnecessary services.
Give us a call and let us take care of your plumbing problems. I am a Master Plumber with 25 years of experience in installing plumbing in new homes and repairing plumbing in older properties. This blend of experience is uncommon in the plumbing field. I visualize plumbing systems in three dimensions, allowing me to diagnose issues effectively. When other plumbers can’t find your elusive leak, they reach out to me to locate and repair it efficiently. Interested in a tankless heater? I’ll offer a complimentary assessment to let you know if you need one and the potential cost.
Support local, family-owned, woman-owned businesses with your dollars, and my sons and I will treat you like a friend and neighbor, helping you return to normal quickly and affordably.
Thanks for your support, and we can’t wait to see you soon! Mickey

This will be brief so you can get on to reading the rest of these reviews.
I had my doubts. with a name like Plumbinator plus with the reviewed lower cost I figured - this could be trouble. It wasn't at all. I had a large plumbing job and they did it all fast, friendly and way more affordably than the rest of the plumbers out there. I'll be calling on you guys again and again.
Almost forgot. After the plumbing was repaired the went back out at no charge to turn the gas back on that someone (it's a mystery) turned off.
Old fashioned service from nice, honest dudes.

I had read the other reviews and thought that The Plumbinator would be a good choice but it wasn't. We had a bad experience with not finishing the job properly, charging us too much, the sink fixtures that were put in were not as good and certainly not worth what he charged for it. The technician was very dim witted and really made my wife uncomfortable the whole time he was there. He didn't have basic plumbing repair parts that any good technician would keep on hand and they were just plain dishonest. I would not use them again.

We had a serious problem. The downstairs toilet clogged up, and no amount of plunging would help. To our dismay, we discovered that anytime we ran water into any sink, that same toilet would overflow. Anything down any drain came back up through the downstairs toilet.
So I got online to search for a local plumber. After reading the rave reviews here, I called the Plumbinator. I'm so glad I did.
They were running late, stuck in traffic, at the time they were supposed to be at my house, but I got a call at exactly the scheduled time informing me and apologizing for the situation. I was very impressed.
When they arrived, I was told we had a main line clog, and they would try to clear it. If it didn't work, I didn't pay. As they worked on it, they discovered not a clog, but a break. The shrubs along the house had broken the main sewer line. So these gentlemen called Mickey, the father and owner. When he learned the seriousness of the problem, he promised to fix it himself, and immediately drove from his last job to my house. On the way, he also got stuck in traffic. (By now, it was rush hour...) But he called me to let me know, which I really appreciated.
By the time he arrived, I had had to go to work, so he dealt with my mom. (She lives with my family.) The repairs ended up being extensive, yet my bill was still magically under the original estimate.
And after Mickey and his boys had finished, he came to see me at my job (a store I manage.) He wanted to meet me, to tell me how the work went. I was touched he went out of his way to connect with me, to explain the events I'd missed.
The work was done quickly, efficiently, and under the expected cost. All of the Plumbinator's plumbers I met were polite, well-spoken, knowledgeable, and endearing. I plan to hire them again for a few projects I have in mind. I've never met a more professional and friendly group of handymen. I cannot recommend them enough.

They just left. Took care of the problem quickly. Fair price. Local, which I like and their respect for their father was refreshing. Heck, when they left it was refreshing all the way around LOL! Would definitely recommend them to anyone and would use them again if I need to. Support your local companies!

I know how you feel. You're young(ish), a homeowner, and most importantly, a female. UGH. The mere THOUGHT of having to call a plumber just makes you sick to your stomach. The horror stories of getting ripped off, hourly rates, crappy work-it all just makes you not even want to deal with your clog/leak/insertplumbingheadache here. As one who has tried at least 3 different services, I can tell you to REST EASY, MY FRIEND! THE PLUMBINATOR is the REAL DEAL!! Just like finding the right hairdresser, the right plumber makes a difference. I am happy to say I have FINALLY found my guys!
I have a leak that has been grossly neglected which I finally decided to bite the bullet and have fixed.I called on Tuesday and the dispatcher was friendly, thorough, and informative. What do you mean FREE estimate?!? UNHEARD OF, but TRUE! They came out on Thursday (at my request, due to scheduling conflict, aka date night) and were even EARLY! Nice! In short, the price was WAAAYYY lower than I expected, Mickey and his sons were really thorough, patient, and professional. I asked a lot of questions, and not once did I feel intimated or taken advantage of since I am of the female persuasion. My boyfriend arrived when they were almost done, and Mickey went over everything again with him, just to make sure we both were happy and understood what was going on. The final seller? Work is GUARANTEED/WARRANTEED for a year! Woohoo!
Silly name? Sure. But it worked for me-I called, got EXCELLENT service, and can now recommend The Plumbinator the next time ANYONE asks for a reference.

Mickey and his team are a great group of people! I think of him every time i take a hot shower....that sounds funny coming from a man doesn't it! I had what seemed to be the sum of an attack on my house all in 1 week. I had my water heater go out and a few days later a leak was noticed in our master bathroom that was staining the ceiling of the room beneath it., Yikes! I had already began the process of making a claim with my insurance company and was really a bit scared of the thought of what might be behind the mold stained drywall. Mickey came out inspected the water heater and gave me a quote and took a look at the ceiling stain and went over what the problem might be. He was genuinely concerned about trying to save me $ and suggested ways to reduce my bill such as taking out the drywall myself and exposing the problem area. He came out to replace my water heater just as i had finished removing the drywall in the formal dining room. After making quick work of the water heater he inspected the pipes in the ceiling and found a small leak mid-line in 1 of the incoming water lines. In a mater of 5 minutes my biggest fears were put to rest and the problem that had been causing me many sleepless nights was resolved! SWEET!!! I wasn't even charged for the water line repair and ended up dropping the claim with my insurance company. Mickey is a true God send and treated me like a friend, I am happy to refer him to anyone in need and wish he and his family continued success.

These guys have twice been an excellent experience for me. While the first job a year ago was a simple water heater issue (super affordable), this time I had a sewer line back up on New Year's Eve, a MUCH more serious issue! Around 2am, with guests at my house, a toilet overflowed and suddenly no water in my house would drain. Definitely the worst timing for a worst case scenario (though the champagne made it funnier than it really was!)
Mickey came out on New Year's Day at about 10:30am, less than an hour after I called. He snaked my cleanout and got it to drain a bit so it was less of an emergency. After running a camera through my pipes he quickly located a break in the pipe in my yard, and scheduled a time with me to come dig it up and make the repair. He didn't charge me extra for working on a holiday, and it was a Sunday. That was unexpected and awesome.
I live in Round Rock, which means my house sits on crazy boulders and such. It was an unusually difficult dig, but they threw a couple jackhammers and muscle into it and removed huge rocks which had finally shifted down low enough after so many years, crushing my sewer pipe. I'm sure the longstanding drought and then some sudden rains recently played a role in that.
They made the repair, and then while testing the integrity by running all my sinks and flushing toilets, we all suddenly saw the pipe back up again, this time from on the city's side of the street! The Plumbinators stuck around for another 2 hours or so while the City of Round Rock water department came out to make their own fixes, which was the original issue all along.
This was definitely a tough job, with several unexpected issues thrown at them along the way, and Mickey's crew sliced through every obstacle like pros. And they're just plain nice guys, that's important, too!
Highly recommended for small and large jobs, I won't call anybody but The Plumbinator.

I called in and the call was returned in less than 2 hours. Also managed to get someone out to my house the Wednesday the week of Thanksgiving. Great friendly people. I would definitely use again and recommend.

i love the plumbinator. mickey is flat out awesome and the best. he knows what he is doing and explained everything in detail. mickey has a tremendous amount of professionalism and courtesy towards his customers and his knowledge of the field is second to none. im glad and thankful i called him in fact i called before he began his day and within minutes he was at the house and found the reason for the leak in my walls. i would highly recommend the plumbinator and mickey. first class guy who runs a first class company. thanks for all you do sir!!!
best regards,
anthony

Mickey, Tim and Randy are extremely professional and knowledgable. They assess a situation, propose a no-nonsense solution and address the issues swiftly. Their costs are EXTREMELY reasonable and you will likely be quite satisfied with the end results. I called on the Plumbinator(s) on a couple of occasions for non-routine plumbing scenarios and would not hesitate to utilize their services in the future. Nor would I hesitate to recommend the company to friends. These guys really do know their stuff... Thanks again for your hard work and service, Mickey, et al!
