These guys do an exceptional job. Communication was better than anyone out there... They arrived when they were scheduled, did the work they told me they would do, and fixed my problem 100%. Couple of stars for snaking a drain but egregious pricing and behavior.

I appreciate the responsiveness of Austin, and Bobby who came was very nice, but despite Austin telling me ""I have a guy in SLO right now who can come on over"" my wife was charged for both snaking work and ""drive time from *Nipomo*."" I would never have agreed to ""drive time from Nipomo"" which is why I had Austin's guy in SLO come over, and chose The Plumber from half a dozen options. Not again.

After the service was complete -- this conversation was recorded on my doorbell cam, so I had a chance to review -- Austin's tech plainly tells my wife that it's 1.5h of time because ""we came from Nipomo."" I complained to Austin afterward and received a mealy-mouthed answer that, well, yeah, Bobby was already in SLO. And it was ""ten minutes of driving across town, ten minutes back,"" and....?

I've never before paid for drive time back, or had time doubled / rounded up to an hour and a half.

Our drain snaking took 38 minutes from arrival to departure, inclusive of conversation about the usurious rate. My wife was taken advantage of and instead billed for 1.5h of time plus the ""snaking fee."" This is twice the price of any prior similar service I have ever had (many times in SLO), and more to the point, absolutely unacceptable chicanery.

A little after Christmas our sink wouldn't drain and we needed it ready since we are hosting a new year's party. I reached out at 9 am and by 11 am Austin was here! I will definitely recommend to family and friends. Austin was not only was super quick to respond but was super efficient and let me know what can prevent the clogs. Thank you for being awesome!

Our 18 year old tankless water heater started working poorly so I sent them an inquiry through Yelp. They got back to me immediately and sent a technician the next day to de-scale and troubleshoot the water heater. As it turned out, the water heater was past its useful life cycle. They were able to install a new more capable unit for us the very next morning and they credited the cost of the initial troubleshooting/descaling to the new install. We also had them install a new kitchen faucet as well. Bobby the technician was great, highly capable, and very professional. We are very pleased with the service we received from The Plumber and highly recommend them!

We had a cloged drain deep in the pipe. I called and aprox an hour later the young man arrived and quickly and courtiously had the problem corrected. I will use them again.

I had the plumber come out and give an estimate. First off they were hours late. sat and waited half my day away. there time window was way off. I needed a new water heater. asap. days later they finally put it in and the estimated price went up $500. what a way to get extra money out of a customer. jack the price up after job is done. on top of that I had to call another plumber to repair the job they did. by the way Jacks plumbing amazing to work with. The plumber no more work for them. might need a new hobby this one sure isn't working for you .

Woke up with a water leak. Called Austin who immediately picked up and spoke with me directly. Even though he had a full day, he found time to help. Cannot ask for a more responsive company. Will definitely use again in the future!
