As a family-owned business with over two decades of serving the Mat Su Valleys, The Plug Buster offers reliable services. The Plug Buster provides a wide range of services, including drain cleaning, water and sewer thawing, plumbing repairs, and septic pumping. The Plug Buster services both residential and commercial plumbing needs. We take on projects of all sizes for us.

The Plug Buster started in 1988 as a one-man business. When our son returned from military duty in Iraq, we expanded into a father-son business Ron, with his background in construction and Boy Scouts of America, leads the business Ron enjoys helping people. John (the son) follows in his father's footsteps

With a history in construction, Ron has vast experience. Ron's father was a construction foreman for a major contractor in Las Vegas Ron grew up helping his father After high school and a mission with the LDS Church, Ron apprenticed as a carpenter He quickly advanced to journeyman carpenter Ron moved to Alaska in 1983, worked for two years, then went back to school for a construction trades teaching degree After teaching in the valley for three years, he decided to start his own business and founded The Plug Buster He has been proudly serving the valley for the last 22 years In addition to all of this, he has served as an adult scout leader for 38 years
