As a family-owned business with more than 20 years of serving the Mat Su Valleys, The Plug Buster offers reliable services. We deliver a comprehensive range of services, including drain cleaning, water and sewer thawing, plumbing repairs, and septic pumping. Our team works on both residential and commercial plumbing We take on projects of all sizes for us.

The company was founded in 1988 as a one-man business. After our son returned from military service in Iraq, we became a father-son team. Ron (the father) has a strong background in construction and Boy Scouts of America He loves serving others John is carrying on his father's tradition.

Ron's roots are in construction Growing up, Ron's father worked as a construction foreman in Las Vegas. From an early age, Ron worked alongside his father. After high school and a mission with the LDS Church, Ron apprenticed as a carpenter He quickly advanced to journeyman carpenter Ron relocated to Alaska in 1983, worked for two years, and then pursued a teaching degree in construction trades. Having taught in the valley for three years, Ron chose to start his own business and launched The Plug Buster. Ron has been serving the valley for 22 years While doing all of this, he has also been an adult scout leader for 38 years
