DON'T USE THIS COMPANY I made the mistake of believing all the marketing and advertising ... the first flag was the mandatory $60 fee just to have them come over an quote on a job. To be clear, my job was simple - replace the shower trim in our guest bath. The tech initially quoted $850!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I told him that was absurd he asked """"what are you willing to pay"""" .... What??? Is this is market where we bargain? I told him a couple hundred bucks at the most. He called his """"boss"""" and came back and lowered the price to $550. So, just by questioning their outrageous quote they reduced the cost by almost 40%????? That's a HUGE pink flag. I told the tech I really have a hard time with their business model - come out and hope someone is dumb enough to pay their initial quotes and lower the price when the quote is questioned. That's a shady business model. I paid the $60 fee but I'm going after them for a refund. They should be able to give a reasonable estimate for a job like this over the phone but they don't operate that way because they have too many people paying their inflated fees. I guess you have to pay for the pink Mercedes work trucks somehow. Ridiculous. Total crock. Never doing business with them again.

$300.00 to replace a toilet water shut off valve? Took less than 1/2 to replace! When they emailed the receipt there was no breakdown of costs, labor/parts, only total. There was a leak and I couldn't flush the toilet so I had no choice but to pay this outrageous cost! Then the plumber tried to sell me a 10 year plan for my water heater and didn't even know how much a month. Said My $300 job would be done for free if I took the plan. My water heater is 6 years old so I didn't even need a plan like this. Total rip-off!!!! I should have read other reviews first...lesson learned!

My hot water wasn't working. I """"leased"""" my hot water heater less than a year ago so that was odd. So I called Pink Plumber and my call response was just as advertised when I made my purchase. The technician who installed my unit, Zach, responded almost immediately Zach helped me troubleshoot my issue over the phone which resolved the issue on a temporary basis and the hot water was flowing again...and then arrived in person to check out the unit himself within two hours . He had the issue completely resolved very quickly (the emergency water shut-off valve sensor just needed fresh batteries) I highly recommend Pink Plumber based on this experience and my initial installation. Be sure to ask for Zach - he's terrific!!

Horrible Company!!! On 13 April, I called The Pink Plumber to have my water softener replaced. I paid $4,200 for this new water system which resulted not to be a water softener. I called them on 16 April 2021 so they could take their system back and the technician just kept complaining about falling into a manhole and for me to please wait and talk to the manager first. The next day I called them for them to send another technician and he said he would rather not touch the unit because he wasn't the one who installed it. Two days later the manager (Blaine) still hadn't contacted me because apparently he had just received his Covid shot. So when he finally contacts me on Monday 19 April, he says he is sorry he can't do anything for me because the 3-day return period had already passed. In addition, the technician who installed the unit welded the pipes for this water system while on my driveway, and left melted aluminum on my driveway pavers which I had just sanded and sealed. It cost me $600 to clean this mess. Blaine (the manager) refuses to take the system back and says his guy did tell me it was not a water softener. Needless to say, I disputed the charge and received my money back but Blaine is still trying to fight the charge with my credit card company. All this while the unit is still sitting disconnected from my house in my garage. He called my wife this past Monday to tell her """"you all might win this one but I'm not going down without a fight!!!""""

I appreciated that they could get someone out as quickly as they did. But for $59 trip charge, I would have expected a little more. I was trying to get my new dishwasher installed (by another company) and problems came up with my house. So the hot water was disconnected (by another trade) and when the plumber Chris arrived, he said he couldn't do anything about fixing the leak. He also didn't know if he had a cap with him, to cap off the hot water line. This was 11-6-20. Today is 11-21-20. and I haven't had hot water in the kitchen for over two weeks. In addition, when the plumber was out here, he said he could connect my dishwasher.. It would cost $512.00. SERIOUSLY? For a water line and a 'waste' line? The whole dishwasher cost that amount. I called the office yesterday to ask if there was any way this pipe could be capped off so I can have hot water. The woman hung up on me, after I said, Your plumber was here and said he would look for a cap in his truck, but then he never did. I wouldn't waste my time with this company. They seem very pleased with themselves. An arrogant, as plumbers sometimes are. Think Moonstruck (the movie). No Wonder plumbers are so wealthy.

Really bad company. Wanted to charge me $3,200 for a $1,200 job which didn't need to be done. Also wanted me to sign up for their $35 a month maintenance plan for 10 years. That's $4,200 over ten years. I could have replaced my unit three times over and still had money in my pocket. They were extremely aggressive in their conduct, telling me that my unit was going to leak all over the garage if I did not do these repairs. Called another company and they did what I needed to do for $175 and everything worked great. Please be very careful with this company. They will never darken my doorway again.

Horrible company. They charged over$500 to disconnect a bathroom under mount sink and connect a new one, and change out a shower head and faucet--PLUS an additional $100""""miscellaneous"""" that they are unable to explain. The sink leaked when they finished, they left debris-including used razor blades in the bathroom, and the showery faucet didn't work correct. A second tech came out and corrected the leaky sink but was unable to correct the faucet. The faucet now drips--which had not prior to their arrival. Their manager now states the want an extra $400 to correct their error. BEWARE!!

This is a lengthy review, but I feel that it's best to identify all of the facts and let future readers make up their mind on whether utilizing this company. We called Pink Plumber after having sewage back up into our tubs and the toilets wouldn't flush. Their plumber came out right away and was able to identify the problem by snaking the sewer line. He identified a crack in the sewer line which appeared to have been caused when the irrigation lines were laid. He dug it up, and then quoted $1200 to fix! During the visit, the plumber claimed that we needed a new water heater (which would cost $5k) and also recommended a water filtration system (also $5k). Interestingly, the plumber also said that the pipe that cracked could be upgraded to a thicker pipe which would cost $5k to do the entire line. My girlfriend was the only one home at the time and she agreed to get the portion of line that was broken fixed. She gave a deposit of $300. Once I found out about the quote, I contacted the company to cancel the order, as $1200 to repair 13 inches of piping is beyond ridiculous. Ended up having to pay an extra $250 to cancel (as we had to pay for the snaking and the labor in digging up the pipe (which was buried about 10 inches deep). Got another plumber in to fix the piping (which took 30 minutes). At this point, he confirmed that the piping that was used was sufficient for sewer lines, so I'm not sure why Pink Plumber suggested replacing the entire line for $5k. Even after paying the new plumber, our total cost was still over 30% cheaper than their quote. The replacement plumber couldn't believe the quote - he said even $600-$800 would have been high but somewhat reasonable for a day's work. I have no issue with Pink Plumber's work and expertise as I'm sure they do a reasonable job. They came out quickly and when they said they would. The plumber was friendly and appeared knowledgeable. The upselling and upcharges did leave a bad taste in my mouth, though. I would strongly recommend utilizing a small, local plumber with low overhead. I'm sure that Pink Plumber's overhead is high, which is why they need to constantly try and upsell additional unrequired products and repairs. Remember that the person paying for those shiny pink trucks and tv advertising is you!

Wouldn't use this company ever again! I wish I would have read the reviews before calling them. You will be overcharged and no warranties in their work- which came after the fact in an email.

I don't know what changed there, but I am dropping them as my plumbers and dropping their rating from 5 to 2... I was sold a hot water heater by them for a very large dollar amount in June of 2017. I did not pick the brand they chose to carry. Everything was fine until 2 days ago. Water heater quit producing hot water. Called pink plumber to come out and take a look. Element is bad. Ok, no problem, it is under a six year warranty. Called the manufacture and confirmed. Told the plumber that came out the same. He said, well you can have the manufacture send you out a new element or I can replace for $350. What? You sold me this water heater? Called the manufacture again and asked how the repair was to be done, they said the plumber just needed to replace and could pick up the part at their regional office, they do not ship parts to homeowners. I told the plumber the same, he made a bunch of excuses about there not being a office nearby, etc... but he could still fix it for $350. This is a product you sold me, under warranty. Why would you carry and sell a product that you don't stand behind??? The element is between $9.50 - $15 each depending on where you go and the quality. You get a very lucky 2 stars because at least he was nice when he tried to rip me off more than I feel I already have been... I also found it odd that they have 4.6 stars on google, but only 2 here... how?
