The technician came and did not communicate any concerns to me regarding repairs. He said he would need to step outside because there is an issue with my contract being cancelled, mind you I just closed on my home on 05/09. He didn't wait for me to call he said he couldn't help and left.

Communication is key to a new customer. I felt I deserved better service.

Deceived me into installing a clean out when it wasn't necessary to perform the work needed done at the time. $1900 was also a lot higher than other companies according to second opinion I got done. Also charged to locate a clean out when there was one on the side of the house. Either they are money hungry liars or incompetent. They don't respond to complaints or emails. Go with someone else. Do not use this company. Learn from me.

AHS sent this company to my home for my water heater! the tech was there 15 min max and I happen to call mid way of the 15 min. he told me that the tank needed to get serviced (flushed) and the elements needed to be changed. he then stated he could flush it for $300 and that the only thing covered by AHS services was getting it turned back on. I told him that the tech before him had to flush it a bit to get those elements changed and he stated that there was a maintenance charge of the $300 for that services. I told him no thank you. he stated he will be putting on the service notes that I never did regular maintenance and that he changed the elements to get it working again and that AHS would deny any claim to replace it by him putting those notes. again he was at my home for literally 15 min! my father watched him and asked him how was he able to change the elements without spilling any water? he stated he can do that. my father said it will be going off again in about a month and the tech stayed it will be less time than that. it was NOT conducted correctly at all and the tech was rude and lied!! needless to say im having them send out a different company and put lindsey on the do not call list for my account.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY WORK! This company is by far the worst. Completely unsatisfied. For a job that was suppose to last 4 days, turned into 3 WEEKS!!
"Management" did not care what we had to say, as I express my frustration with him, it's like I was talking to a kid who didn't have a care in the world.
Learn to have better communication skills with your CUSTOMERS! The people who PAY TO KEEP YOUR BUSINESS GOING!
The plumbers are not trained to speak with customers, especially promising amounts & not sticking by his word, then you explain that to the manager & all he does is slap the plumber on the hand.
I should have read reviews first before hiring this so called "business"!!! No one seems to be satisfied with these people...
Only putting 1 star because it wouldn't let me finish the review without putting one. 1 star is actually too much.

Summary: If you use AHS warranty co - American Home Shield, avoid The Lindsay Company at all costs.
We know AHS pays discounted rate to Lindsay. Lindsay has no real incentive to do the AHS job since they get paid less then market rate. Just going to the AHS Work Order customer, they get paid the minimum for showing up. They have fixed minor things for me, usually under 30 min jobs from AHS.
But if the job requires an hour or two, Lindsay files with AHS as not normal wear & tear. AHS denies it. Then guess what? Lindsay charges the customer whatever they want. This is the real money making scheme for them.
They are on my AHS Do Not Use list. Every time AHS auto assigns Lindsay, I ask AHS to give me a different plumber.
They may have 15000 jobs done in 15 years. But AHS based jobs --- avoid at all costs.

Horrible Customer service, most issues are with Kitchen Faucets are with cartridge's and AHS sent this company to fix a job ...this technician denied the job claiming wear and tear where in same issues 2 years back by a different company fixed it without any concern. please be aware of this company and push back on AHS to not use this company for service in Houston area.

I would never use the Lindsay Company again. I had them come out to look at my garbage disposal that had been leaking. When they came out they ran the water for less than 2 minutes and said there was not a current leak so there was nothing they could do about it despite the fact I had a water cup that was filled with dirty water showing exactly where the leak was coming from. Then when I talked to the representative on the phone she raised her voice at me. Wildly unprofessional.

AHS sent this company out to fix our hot water heater. They installed a $700 part on the gas meter. Hot water worked maybe 2 days & quit again. They came back out and said basically they didn't know why it wasn't working. I called ahs & asked for a second opinion company to come out. Fast forward to now, Centerpoint Energy showed up and immediately turned my gas off, head of second opinion company showed up & is out there taking pictures of all the damage. That $700 part has potentially damaged the gas regulators in all my appliances and my house was at risk of catching fire because of the level of gas being pumped into my house. The city is taking off that $700 part because as they said, "most plumbing companies know not to mess with our equipment, this is dangerous". Don't use this company!!!!!!!

We are terribly disappointed with their service. They were called through American Home Shield for a leak under the faucet. The technician arrived, but refused to repair saying that the valve looked old. He said that it might crack, so refused to close it shut. I later had to another Plumbing company, who did not complain at all and did the job. Lindsay company collected 100$ from me and extra money from the American Home Shield and refused to do a job which other company did not have any trouble doing.
I will not hire them ever, I got cheated by them.
