I used them through American Home Shield they use them and I had a toilet valve that didn't work s we didn't want to change the parts inside the tank without being able to shut the water off so we called the insurance. We also have a vegetable sprayer in our sink that didn't have enough pleasure. The plumber fixed the valve under the tank and the flushing valve also but didn't place the cover back on the wall leave the hole open under the toilet. After fixing the pressure on the sink sprayer we were left with a leak under the sink. He said I needed a new faucet which I refused to get a $60.00 generic POS when ours is over $500.00 in value. I told him to order the part needed and fix what you caused. The plumber ordered the parts, came back and they were the wrong parts and acted like we did something wrong, he left and its been two months with no resolution. HORRIBLE COMPANY I can't believe American Shield uses them.

This company has been assigned to us through our Home Warranty. Tech spent 5 minutes inside the house checking our broken toilet and bathtub, left saying that someone will get in touch with us. (Usually all techs stay and wait until the orders are authorized). Couple hours later I get notification that Lindsay closed the order, that it was completed. I called to the company, they said that the order was denied by the home warranty. I called home warranty and they said that the Tech claimed that the toilet has been shaken, then slammed off of the wall and that is why the bowl of the toilet cracked hence warranty does not cover due to supposedly us damaging. Needless to say I was shocked as Tech completely and utterly lied. My toilet could not even be moved and the toilet bowl is so close to the wall, that it would be impossible to slam it. Likely, my home warranty offers second opinion. Got another company in and they confirmed that toilet is just old and that is why it combusted by itself. There were no any findings that we did anything to it. As a result, toilet has been changed and covered by the home warranty. I will never use this company again, and warn anyone who would want to. If you don't want to do the job, just don't do it. There is absolutely No reason to lie.Thank you!

P. S. Those are wrong pictures you have Matt! There was no crack there. Thank you! I am glad we did too!

AHS SCAM ARTIST

THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS!! They said my gas line was "out of code" and to replace what is maybe a 10 foot section of CSST running from my cut off valve in the wall to the oven connection was going to $1500.00 plus the cost of cutting out then replacing the back panel and bottom of my cabinets. They could not provide me the code information that they were referring to. Called another Plumber and paid $180 out of my own pocket for them to fix the leak in 10 minutes. Now AHS won't reimburse me my $75 service fee that I paid for these clowns to come out and try to con me. COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!

Horrible. Was referred to them through American Home Shield. Had no idea how to diagnose our problem, cut two holes in the wall to test some things, and never repaired them, never followed up, not returning phone calls now.

They said they performed work that was not performed. Left parts and joints in attic....when attic door was opened, parts fell out. Problem of receiving hot water, on first visit it was explained that they could partially fix the problem, but we could only use one appliance at a time. This was for the AHS fee of $100. However, it was additionally explained that to fix hot water issue so more than one appliance can run at a time will cost $1,600. This would be flush the 2 year old tankless water heater and re-pipe in the attic. We proceeded with that effort only to find that somehow I now have no water pressure in my master bath..therefore no hot or cold water. I hired another plumbing company (not through AHS) about the problem only to discover the above, plus the tankless water heater was off the market now and was set at a temperature too high and the piping was illegal and would eventually burst flooding my home again. I'm an elderly woman, not only was I taken advantage of by the Lindsay Plumbing Company, but also, the previously hired plumbers through a contractor who through ignorance or deceit took my money and caused more problems.
UPDATE TO LINDSAY RESPONSE: no, I did not write that you installed the 2 yr old obsolete tankless water heater...the 1 year past, previous contractor's plumbers did that. However, Lindsay Plumbing said for an additional $1,600 they could fix my problem. Reading carefully the above, you will see that whatever they did, to include leaving materials ...joints and other, which fell on the head of my daughter in law when she opened the attic for the new plumber to analyze---indicates the previous occupant of that area (Lindsay Plumber) left those materials. ALSO, IF YOU READ THE ABOVE, YOU WILL NOTICE THAT I WAS CHARGED FOR FLUSHING THE OFF MARKET TANKLESS HEATER WHICH WAS SET AT ABOVE LEGAL TEMP....PIPED ILLEGALLY (NOT ORIGINALLY DONE BY LINDSAY) BUT SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOTED AND OWNER INFORMED OF DANGER. THEREFORE, I WAS CHARGED A TOTAL OF $1,700. (Original AHS Service Call) PLUS $1,600 MORE TO "FIX" MY LACK OF HOT WATER PROBLEM! ONLY TO HAVE THE OUTCOME OF NEITHER HOT NOR COLD WATER I.e. NO WATER TO MY SHOWER IN MASTER BATH. SO, BEFORE RESPONDING TO DENY ANY PART OF THE ABOVE, PLEASE, FOR GOODNESS SAKE, READ THE ACTUAL COMPLAINT!

Worse plumbing company ever. They cancel and leave appointments even after customer explicitly make arrangements according to work schedules. Tech and phone operators are all unprofessional.

Dispatcher called and was polite and professional. She told me they had an opening and would send out a technician the same day that my work order was sent to them from AHS. Technician arrived early and was polite and professional. He had parts for water heater on his truck and was able to replace the gas valve and thermocouple quickly and efficiently. This company has been out to service other appliances through my AHS policy and we were also pleased with their service on previous calls.

Bottom line; Don't use this company - they do not stand behind their work.

8/22 - I had a tiny leak in upstairs water pipe, mind you this is a pressurized water line. Lindsay Company was contracted by American Home Shield (AHS) to "fix" the leak. Lindsay Co. technician put a band-aid on a pressurized pipe and after about 8 day half of the ceiling and blown installation had extensive water damage.

8/30 - Lindsay Co. Sent out technician to replace ~12' of pipe. No more leaks. However, the technician left pipe and materials in the room and in the attic. Nice, but not professional.

09/13 - AHS sent out ceiling repair contractor to fix the damages done by plumber and to fix where they accessed ceiling to repair pipe. After the subcontractor assessed the damage they said they could not fix. I was told by AHS that they are not responsible for secondary damages, and they would only fix small patch ~2'x2'. The damaged ceiling included over 52 SF of replacement, tape, float, texture, and paint. I explained the damages were the direct result of AHS's plumber not performing work properly. AHS told me I needed to contact Lindsay, I reminded AHS that I did not contract with Lindsay - my contract is with AHS. AHS said they would reach out to Lindsay and have them resolve the issue. AHS then turned around and charged me $125 to have the ceiling contractor come to the house.

FYI - I had an independent contractor provide an estimate of $1,400 to repair/replace the ceiling (not including insulation).

10/9 - AHS agrees to send reimbursement. It was for $220. I told them that was not enough.

10/26 - AHS agreed to send another $280. I settled for $500.

Final Recommendation: I cannot say enough about the poor customer service by both AHS and the Lindsay Company. I would not recommend either company. I have spent 2 months and over 2 dozen phone calls waiting hours on end, fighting for AHS to do the right thing. This is contract dispute between a subcontractor and AHS. This should not be an issue for a home owner to resolve. As a corporation, AHS should have reimbursed the entire $1,400 for damages done by their subcontractor and go after the sub for back charge. As a contractor, Lindsay Co. should have owned up to their mistake and paid to have the ceiling repaired at Lindsay Co. costs.

I would also recommend AHS remove Lindsay Company from their "approved" vendor list and hire reputable contractors.
