Chris is wonderful! He came out after hours, tried to fix the problem but the water heater warranty sent a defective product so we had to wait. Chris came out every time I called and today we have hot water. Wonderful countenance, very personable and reasonable. He replaced my thermal couple, pilot assembly and burner assembly in great time! Thanks Chris! I'm spreading the news! You rock!

Chris is the man. I called him on Thursday for a soft emergency but when he called back (an hour later), I had already made an appointment with Mike Diamond Plumbing. But, when ""Mike"" told me the next day that it was $285 plus labor to replace a flapper on a toilet (an $8 part), I said ""adios"" and called Chris back. The guy said no problem and was at my house Saturday morning 9:30 a.m. Nice guy, had all the right parts, beyond competent and nothing but solutions. Clean, timely, respectful and super fair on the price. Everything you want in, well, anyone.

He's on my short list of guys who can work on my house! Use him!

P.S. I just used him again (pressure relief valve and water filter were leaking) and he was on it like a boss. Really nice guy.

After a whole day of searching yelp and contacting plumbers, I came across The Greener Plumber. Chris was truly helpful. Not only did he respond quickly when I reached out to him, he was able come and save our bathroom that same day. He was friendly and was informative on what exactly he did to the toilet. I was referred to Chris by a friend and I've called him twice now, once to install a new hot water heater and just now for our annual drain snaking (I live in a house full of girls and even with our best attempts at keeping hair from going down the drains, some of it sneaks past our hair catchers and eventually slows our drains). The hot water heater install was a few months ago, and it was kind of an emergency because our old hot water heater was flooding our basement so we needed someone to come right away. Chris was able to come within a day or two and was very professional, polite, and very easy to get along with. And our new water heater is working great!
For the drain snaking, I had just started noticing my shower starting to drain slowly so I called Chris on a monday morning and he was able to come out just a few hours later to take care of everything, I definitely was not expecting him to be able to come out the same day! As before, he was very professional, easy to chat with, and made the process as painless as possible. I will definitely be calling him again!

Chris was a referral from a friend. He came over as a second opinion on our sewer system. We had a thousand plus repair estimate from a chain sewer company when we had called them simply as a maintenance service because we have tree roots that eventually block the pipes. Chris looked at our system with the camera and explained everything to us. He told us that we actually didn't need anything done at this time but he showed us a point in the sewer line that needed to be periodically checked for blockage. He didn't even charge us for the visit! I cannot express how grateful we are to finally find a plumber and sewer guy who is honest and trustworthy. Chris is true to his word. We called him to repair my water heater and he responded quickly and came to the house within 30 minutes. Diagnosed the situation and repaired the water heater within approximately 30 minutes. He is a honest and nice guy. Give him a shot and you will be surprised with his professionalism and honesty.

Chris called me right away and it was after his business hours. He was super friendly, but of all helpful. He saved us a service fee of him coming out. He made suggestions over the phone and a quick trip to Home Depot we were back to normal. Our 4 year old put his cotton shorts in the toilet which we found, but didn't know that he had dropped a wash cloth in before the shorts and flushed the toilet!!!!! Nonetheless, we appreciate Chris' integral phone consultation and follow up.

Definitely keeping his business bookmarked and as a Real Estate agent I will be using and referring him for/to my clients.

My dual kitchen sink was completely clogged up on both sides, and I spent most of a Sunday trying everything to fix it--plunging, Drano, the works. No luck. A few other reviewers had mentioned that Chris did work on Sunday, so I gave him a call a bit before 5pm even though Yelp said he was ""closed."" Figured I could at least schedule an appointment for early in the week.

He called back within five minutes, and was at my apartment in 20 because he happened to be nearby. Cleared out the drain (which was much more severely clogged than I'd expected), and helpfully explained what he was doing the whole time. So when all was said and done, my kitchen sink was flowing smoothly again within an hour of me first calling.

Toilets were back up, actually had a another plumber come out to clean the sewer line, but within a couple of days, had the same problem. Called that same plumber(won't give out the name, but are located in Culver City), said it would take at least a day to go back. Couldn't wait that long, being able to use the toilet is a very important thing. Saw the Greener Plumber on Yelp, so I called. Chris came within 30 minutes, it was early evening and on a Saturday. He was very nice explained why the sewer line was still clogged(tree roots) even showed me with his camera that goes down the sewer line. Recommended to remove the tree roots by hydro jetting, not cheap, but gave us a good deal, since he already had another appointment for hydro jetting the next day. Came the next day took less than an hour and everything was all good. Highly recommend Chris for any of your plumbing needs.
