I had the pleasure of using the Greener Plumber recently for my Mom's kitchen sink that was backing up. I live in Georgia but because my mom is older, I try and handle these things for her long distance. I called Greener Plumber and requested if they could come out ASAP since the clogged kitchen sink line was also causing water to back up into her new washing machine. He was doing couple two jobs in the area and came over in a few hours. He not only did he fixed the problem but also took care of a few M&R issues around the house for her. His price was more than reasonable. I am very grateful for the kind, thoughtful and professional service he company provided.

Called Chris on a Sunday afternoon and he was at my house in 40 min. I have a one bathroom home and with the shower not working this is a big problem. The shower head had snapped the pipe when I pulled down on it. Chris came over, extracted the pipe, and reinstalled my shower head and rack in 40 minutes without waking up my napping kids. I highly recommend him!

Chris is simply the best. Not only is he personable and a pleasure to be around, he is smart and really knows his business. He has rescued us twice (replaced toilet and corrected an overflow from the dishwasher). You can see Chris figuring out the best way fix a problem. I trust him, and his charges have been reasonable. Wow, what a great guy. I called Chris because I was hearing a kind of groaning sound coming out of my hot water faucet in the kitchen. He was near by and so came by in about 15 minutes. It turned out to be the after market atomizer that I put on the faucet a while ago. He figured it out in about 15 minutes, charged me $20 and left with a smile on his face!

Chris Layton is The Greener Plumber. I viewed ALL the Yelp comments about the various plumbers recommended on the NextDoor Ocean Park Santa Monica site and on the basis of The Greener Plumber's good reviews and no negative reviews decided to hire him for work in a rental apartment I own in Venice.

I was very pleased. He did three projects in one visit: replaced the inside ""guts"" on a toilet tank that was leaking, removed old leaking corroded metal pipes (2) and replaced with new non-metal pipes under the kitchen sink (a better quality sure to last), and removed a bathroom faucet and replaced it with a new one that I provided and had pre-purchased. He spent about 1 hour 45 minutes to do the entire job - worked quickly, spotlessly and came with all the supplies he needed already in hand. Fee was $365 for parts and labor, which I felt was fair for such good quality work. I would recommend him and use him again.

We had a plumbing emergency on a weekend, with sewage backing up into our downstairs bathtub. Called around to several places, including our regular plumber, and nobody was available. Saw the great reviews for Chris on Yelp and gave him a call--within 15 minutes he was at our house ready to help. Very professional and honest, really liked Chris a lot. I called Chris (found him on Yelp) when my toilet clogged recently. He made himself available right away, and a couple of hours later he showed up. Right away I could tell he was the real deal. He diagnosed my bizarre issue (the weeds from nearby ficus trees were growing up into my toilet!). He got everything taken care of quickly and gave me what I thought was a very reasonable rate.
I also felt like he just knew what he was doing more than other plumbers I've found. He's been doing it so long he knows what's wrong right away. My landlord sent in two different guys (his ""plumber"" & his handyman), and neither of them knew what was wrong. They both ""fixed it"" only for it to get clogged again within a week.
Chris was also very personable. Will definitely use him for my next plumbing issue!!
