They were great and much less expensive than another place I called. I have a regular plumber but he doesn't do rooter service so I called Drain Co. I didn't have an emergency but they still arrived within a couple hours, snaked the line and were done quickly. The office phone person and service guy were both nice.

This company is as good as it can get! A few months ago they helped us with installing a new water heater on a weekend, that too at a reasonable price at a few hours notice..since then they have been our go-to company for anything related to plumbing. They have fixed a few leaking issues in the house, over-pressure regulator and kitchen sink garbage disposal. Mark is a very knowledgeable and quite professional in what he does. Last week Mark came out to check some water accumulated under the kitchen sink.. he checked all the possible issues and the dishwasher. Turns out there was no issue, he didn't charge anything not even a nominal service charge for coming out to check. That shows the level of integrity, honesty and what real customer service is about! A highly recommended company!!

Sam arrived within 2 hrs of my call on a Saturday afternoon, when we had 10 people for lunch and our drains gave out. He ran me though the problem, explained it clearly and gave me a reasonable quote to sort it. Having managed to clear the problem in super fast time and cleaned up the mess, he told me it would be cheaper than his quote as it had take less time than expected!

CLOGGED KITCHEN SINK:
I woke up one morning and noticed my kitchen sink was clogged. I grabbed my tools and started snaking away under the kitchen sink. When I put the trap back together and ran some water through the faucet, the sink was still clogged. The water was not even going down the drain anymore and started to collect in the sink. I came across ""The Drain Co"" and decided to give them a call. I spoke with Raeanna over the phone who was very professional and kind. She told me that someone can come and fix the sink within an hour...Did I mention that this happened on New Years Day?! I was amazed that someone can come within an hour on a major holiday! Sam arrived and he went above and beyond! He was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He fixed the problem thoroughly and in a timely manner. The price was extremely fair considering it was a major holiday! I would definitely contact them in the future when I come across another plumbing situation. I have used TDC on multiple occasions; the first time for a clogged bathroom sink. I called Star and she sent someone over within the hour. The technician was courteous, quick and very neat. The second time was for a backed up pipe in my laundry room. This particular drain pipe had been an issue since I purchased the house a decade ago. Every year I would hire a plumber to snake out the line, only to have the thing (like clockwork) back up again within 12 months. After my first successful experience with The Drain Company, I bought them in to take a crack at it; and again it was a prompt, accurate and courteous technician that showed to deal with the stubborn pipe. That was 2 years ago and we haven't had a problem since!

Honest, reasonably priced, and effective.

Kent snaked our drain during a post-holiday nighttime clog (the best kind, really). Then a few weeks later we decided to finally replace our old water shutoff valve with a 90 degree valve so that the water to our house could be shut off completely since the old valve wasn't doing its job (per a previous plumber who wanted an arm and a leg to replace it when he found the issue during another fix. That number scared me, so I put off the work to shop around). Drain Co's quote was along the lines of what I would expect to pay for that type and amount of work, so Kent came out again and did a great job with that and also fixed a leak he found with our exterior plumbing. Final price was very reasonable and the job was done well. When the sink backed up again a few weeks after the first snaking (on another holiday weekend...I swear, I'm not putting cookie dough or anything crazy down the disposal!), the owners came out and took care of it themselves free of charge, explaining that it was still under warranty, which was very nice of them. I don't think Kent did a bad job snaking it the first time... after all, it was draining fine for several weeks after... I just think there might have been something going on further down the pipeline and things built up quickly around what was probably a minor remaining obstruction bc we honestly didn't put much down the disposal after getting a gentle reminder from Kent on how to keep a garbage disposal working well. Still, we weren't expecting the second snaking to be covered under their warranty. But the kind owners of Drain Co. snaked further out and solved the problem quickly on a holiday weekend and let me reiterate this: they did it for free because they stand behind their work, even though they did a good job the first time... You cannot ask for more than that from a company.

So, these folks are my go-to plumbers in L.A. from here on out. Glad to have finally found some truly good and honest people out here after some pretty crappy experiences with several contractors and overpriced plumbers who seemed more interested in making a quick buck on a one-off than building a lasting relationship that yields more work through loyalty and referrals. Thanks for being good people and running your business well!

Called on Sunday after 6pm and got a call back from Sam. He snaked the drain and my problem was fixed quickly and efficiently. Sam was very careful using drop cloths and plastic to protect my floor tiles. Good price compared to the others that called me back. Would definitely recommend Drain Co.
