It was like a trippy flashback to the Katy Perry concert I never went to, I was hot and now I'm cold and it's all thanks to The Cooling & Plumbing Co.

The crew came out to assess my AC problem and the prognosis was to repair a leak on a 16yr old system at roughly half the cost of a new one or to replace. After weighing my options, getting a few price quotes from competing businesses, I opted for total replacement. I didn't want to end up with a fully functioning 16 year old AC, when a new one was within within a reasonable cost difference and I wouldn't have to worry about more major repairs within the upcoming couple of years.

I made the decision to replace and they were out within a couple of business days craning a new AC unit to the third floor roof of my condo in central phoenix, installing a new air handler, blower and connecting everything together. There were a few hiccups along the way during installation, mostly due to the old design of the system they were replacing was reversed from the current design, the installers ended up taking the fan, coils and wiring out of the new air handler housing and retro fitting them to fit into the old space. It was a tight fit and the alternative was cutting into beams and a bunch of extra repair work.

After installation of the new unit, there were more issues with my thermostat, it just did not want to work with the new AC, after a couple hours of testing, rewiring, retesting, rinse and repeat, we put a new thermostat, my AC was up, running and blowing cold air once again.

After enjoying cold air once again for a few days, I had a complaint at just how loud the new fan was. I called them up once again and they were back out to tune down the speed of my fan, it's sound level is now back to about what the old one was.

I can't believe at just how much time and effort this AC unit took them, over all I am happy with the service they provided on top of the new AC unit I am now enjoying on a daily basis!

OUTSTANDING, AMAZING! I'm not one to write reviews as I have much better things to do with my time. However, when i do feel the need to share, good or bad, it's because I was either extremely satisfied or vice versa. Keep in mind that I am coming off of an extremely bad experience with my pool contractor (who will also get a review from me) so I already was not expecting much and was bitter. But WOW, Jay and his crew were pleasant, explained everything in detail, price was competitive and communicated very well. It was very refreshing to deal with someone friendly, helpful and not looking to gouge my wallet. I am a loyal person when it comes to finding someone honest and easy to deal with so needless to say I have found a plumbing and HVAC company that I will never have the need to shop ever again. The Cooling & Plumbing Co. will always be the only phone call I'll make when these needs arise. GREAT JOB JAY! I know we will be working together again in the future.

I first used the Cooling & Plumbing company for a gas line that I needed installed for a stove. They charged a flat rate for the install and came out pretty quickly to install it, while they were here they also fixed my bathroom fan motor just because it looked like it was installed incorrectly free of charge.

They have great customer service and take pride in what they do which shows. I have used them on several occasions since, Jay and his employees always do great work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be using them in the future for any cooling and plumbing needs.

My experience with this company was a home run from the start. I needed a gas line installed in my kitchen. I have been calling plumbers for a week and each one either sounded annoyed or bothered that I contacted them. When I called The Cooling & Plumbing Co. the owner answers the phone and he sounds excited that you called. He quickly answered all my questions and booked an appointment with me that week. On the day of the project, they not only showed up on time, they were early. The work was done quickly and the two guys who did the installation were friendly, made no mess and completed the job quickly. Fair prices and stellar work. They will be the only company I call in the future.

We had a gas line installed for a gas stove. Jay was fabulous with explaining the process and the installation was quick. When I was unable to get my gas fireplace to light a couple weeks later i called Jay and he sent Jimbo out immediately to evaluate the issue and had it fixed!! Recently purchased an older home that needed some TLC. Called Jay to have his team come out and check out the unit at the house. They checked out the system and assured us that they unit was in working order. They suggested that we have the ducts cleaned. I took their advice and had their duct cleaner come out today. WONDERFUL! I notice a big difference in the air quality at the house. The gentlemen, Dave that worked at the house was friendly and took the time to show me different things about the unit that I didn't know. He also made suggestion about filters and how to care for our floor level return area. Great job.
(*I had been using another AC company for 10 years but they never returned my calls.) This was my first experience with this particular company. I would suggest you try them. Good honest guys with great customer service!

We recently underwent an extensive kitchen remodel and were looking for someone we could trust to sell and install a massive propane tank and all the plumbing. It seemed like it would be a challenging job and the tank placement would be tricky. This was a huge project and I would accept nothing but the best, so I set out to find the best in their field and interviewed 5 companies with top ratings. After finding J on Yelp with his fantastic reviews I called and setup an appointment. J showed up on time, provided a wealth of knowledge around complex installations and permits, and worked with me at length to brainstorm the best way to attack the job. He did some research, found exactly what we needed, lined everything up and communicated with me exactly when he said he would. He and his team also showed up exactly when they said they would. This is practically unheard of with most contractors. I found J and Patrick to be more like partners than contractors; rare and fantastic. We ran into some challenges on the project, not with J's portion, but with the range and then with the company that filled the propane. In both instances J not only advised me on direction and put my mind at ease, he jumped in to assist personally to ensure we were taken care of and the project continued on it's way.

Honestly, we could not have asked for plumbing partners (both J and Patrick) who genuinely cared more, were more dedicated to our success, communicated better, showed up when they said they would (even well after normal business hours) and followed through with professionalism, expertise and dedication.

In every case going forward, I will call J first. Unequivocally. My recommendation is that you do too. What's the worst that could happen? The best that could happen is you find a plumbing partner forever. I did.
