Todd WAS a nice guy. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt...even after being warned by friends who had used him in the past.
He came to fix my microwave. Diagnosed it, I paid him $60. He said he would come back with the part to repair it. It took ME calling several times to get him back.
He came back, showed up late. Had to reschedule. Then, he took apart the microwave and then realized he had the wrong part. Again, said he would come back. Again I had to follow up and follow up to get him to come back.
He came back a third time (its now been 3 weeks), and fixed the broken part. Unfortunately, he broke another part in the meantime. Said he would have the part expedited and get it fixed ASAP especially since we had a home inspection (sold our house) a few days later. I called him every day to follow up, and he kept saying the part wasn't in. The part to FIX WHAT HE BROKE.
Now, a week and 2 days later (OVER 5 WEEKS TOTAL), I still do not have a working microwave. He WILL NOT return my calls. I had to call another appliance company and now they not only have to fix the original problem (because even though he said it was fixed, it is not) and now I have to PAY to have someone fix the part he broke. After I've already invested 5 weeks and $60. Wow.
What a shame. Seemed like such a nice guy. Guess I should've trusted bad yelp reviews. You probably should too. Notice I don't usually leave Yelp reviews. I just hope I can save someone else the trouble. When I called the new company to fix the problems, she knew EXACTLY who I had worked with before. Thats a REALLY bad sign.

Not sure why people have had such bad luck - great, reasonable price to come in and fix our fridge. He was super enthusiastic about ALL the appliances in our home, giving us tips for repair, care, and eventual replacement. It was like watching a master at work. He arrived an hour after we called which was cool, too!

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY. I called on January 28th to look at refrigerator. Tod Knox came that day told us it needs high voltage board. Paid him $59.00 for service call.He called and gave us a price o the board and installation and I agreed. After that did not hear from him. Called him 5 times no return calls. Finally got ahold him on March 1st. He said part will be in Thursday. Never heard from him. Called on March 7th and he said he doesn't think he can get the part. I then cancelled his service. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY Unprofessional, refrigerator was not working from January 28th to March 7th. Had to call another repair person. Again DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY.

Todd came to fix our microwave. We live in a rental unit and it was an easy setup for an appointment with the company. Todd showed up on time and got to work quickly troubleshooting the problem. He had the correct tools and got down to business. He diagnosed the problem and preformed the fix. No parts needed just a good thorough clean out of the cage fan. We are now good to go. Thanks Todd.

Do NOT use this guy. When I finally got Todd to come out he said he had to order the part for my gas range. Didn't hear anything for a week so I called and he came out again with the wrong part. Supposedly he was going to order the right part and he's been a no-show ever since. He won't return my phone calls so that sealed it for me. Luckily I'm not out any money.

Ridiculous. Do not use this company!!!! I have lived in SLO for 18 years and this is the worst service I ever received - bar none. The guy showed up and said he couldn't fix it that day but would call with the price of the part. A week went buy and I finally tracked him down and he said the price and I agreed. Now 3 weeks later and at least 7 phone calls from me - my backyard remains draped in laundry. I can kiss the intial fee goodbye. The other person who said the whole thing is a scam is right!

Todd is a SCAM ARTIST!!! He collects your money then NEVER, EVER fixes anything!! I wish I had read the reviews before having come to our home and ""fix"" our ice maker!!!! Our appliance is a Samsung and Samsung referred him!!! He doesn't fix anything, doesn't give you a receipt, I asked for his mailing address as he tried to charge me a 2nd time for the same problem that he didn't fix the first time I paid him and he gave me a blank stare! He gave me a PO Box!! He in not capable of fixing anything! We have been having the EXACT problem you had! Paid him to fix an ice maker, it has never worked since, and have called him probably 20 times! He is a SCAMMER!!! I am calling the BBB tomorrow, Samsung (again for the 7th time as they referred him) and my bank. What a rip off! Worse experience ever!!!

I would not even give one star. PLEASE DO NOT CALL this company!! I have never given a bad review but I'm honestly trying to save others from getting ripped off. Paid money to have my dishwasher fixed and left and didn't work (rushed my check to the bank though ) called numerous times and flaked on appointment and never returned my 10 calls, which I was nice about. Please call someone else!

I don't know how this company can stay in business. I called them in January to repair a new Samsung dishwasher under warranty. I spoke to Todd to set up the service call. He never showed up! He never returned any of my calls. Samsung also called them and he wouldn't return their calls either. By the way, the Samsung dishwasher was defective. The latch didn't work and we would have to fight with it for 20 minutes to try to close it, but then it would leak all over the floor. I had to buy a Kenmore to replace it.
