Kitchen drain stopped up, I tried everything from baking soda/vinegar to a whole bottle of Liquid Plumber. No joy. Called The Art of Plumbing, and within a few hours of my call, Eugene and his team showed up promptly at the time he promised. Less than an hour later, no more blockage, everything back to normal. Eugene is courteous, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and easy to deal with. Bravo!

UPDATE 10-Jan-17: had a non-emergency job that I'd been putting off. Texted Eugene on Friday and he sent Bill the following Monday. Bill is every bit as competent, courteous, and professional as Eugene and the rest of the Art of Plumbing staff. These guys are the best!

Eugene and his team just finished changing all pipes in my house, installed new water heater. They were professional, punctual with all supplies they needed ( so you don't have to run to store to get something which you need to provide to your contractor). AND the best of all not only the price was unpar with other licensed plumbers but they also did all the work in one day. It felt like he did his homework, planned ahead and completed project without a hitch. Considering my latest experiences with contractors in CA, I would say if you need a plumber Eugene should be in your phone address book. I will definitely will use them again.

Ah, I have to mention one more thing he said he can apply for city permits when you need it and if anyone ever faced this dilemma they will know how much time it takes besides money.

Leaking 40 Gal water heater. Eugene came the same evening I called and installed a new one. He took care to make sure all the old fittings were in good shape and replaced those that were not. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I had a kitchen sink clogged, and we called Roto Rooter to get a quote on how much to fix it. They said it would be $100 discounted price but came and told us that because we live in a condo and we don't have a ""clean out"" under the sink, they would have to charge us their corporate pricing of $450. Yeah, no thanks lol.

So we called Eugene and asked for a quote, and he was extremely helpful right away. No bull to try and rip us off, he asked if we had a clean out over the phone, we said no and he said no problem it should be about $150 which is about what it should be. He showed up and was extremely nice, professional, and fixed our standing water clog in under an hour. No bull while he was here, just an honest guy cleaning peoples pipes :) We will definitely be using him again next time we have plumbing issues. Give em a call, great service you won't be disappointed!

I found The Art of Plumbing on Yelp, and decided to give Eugene a call to fix my shower leak and broken nob. While it did take a couple of re-scheduling for him come by to inspect the issue, I am very glad I went with his service. He has recommended a straight forward fix to the issue, and even told me where I could get the parts if wanted to get them myself. This is far different from the over the top work that another plumber was recommending. Eugene is professional and personable. He takes time to explain the issue and answered whatever questions I had patiently. I highly recommend him for any plumbing work, and would use him again without hesitation in the future.

Eugene came to my house to inspect my shower leak and gave me an estimate. Before he came to the house to actually fix the leak, I called him with a lot of questions. He didn't mind all of my questions, and in fact, he was very helpful. I was very glad that I decided to go with him to fix my leak. He was always very pleasant to talk to and answered all my questions thoroughly.

After explaining the symptoms to him, he even suggested that I look at my water pressure regulator, which was malfunctioning and as a result, exacerbated the leak. I told him I want to try to replace that myself, and I would let him know if that didn't solve my problem. He wasn't offended. After replacing that, the leak was mitigated but still there. So I scheduled Eugene to replace the entire shower system. I asked him what to do after he cut open the dry wall, and he explained all the steps to me. So I can tell that he's very patient. Gin arrived to do the actual work, but Eugene was there to help. Their work was professional. They covered the floor with towels. So everything was clean after they were finished. Gin was also very skillful, patient and even funny. He tested everything step by step. I watched and asked questions throughout the entire process. Gin answered all of them. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their work. They were on time, careful, and skillful.

My 30 gallon electric water heater died after 13 years so Eugene and Tommy came the next day and installed a new 38 gallon water heater. I will use them for all my plumbing needs. I like their professional and respectful attitude. I expected to pay more based on other plumbers, but his fees are reasonable.
