I had a plumbing problem the other night and couldn't use my kitchen sink or dishwasher. It was too late to call anyone but I did call the Art of Plumbing with the hopes of leaving a message so someone could come out first thing in the morning.
Eugene was kind enough to send me a text despite the late hour. I explained the problem and he came out in the morning. He was very professional and competent. He fixed the problem and cleaned up afterwards.
We are very satisfied with his work. If you ever need a plumber, I highly recommend The Art of Plumbing.

In short, had a good experience with The Art of Plumbing. Had a pressure reducer valve that needed replacing. I also thought that my shutoff valve also needed replacing.

Eugene, the owner, came out the same day to give me an estimate and actually told me he didn't think the shutoff valve needed replacing, even though he probably could have just agreed with me and made a bit more money. So it was definitely nice that he was looking out for things that I really didn't need done.

The next morning he had Oscar come out to do the work. Oscar did a great job. Unfortunately the pipe had been painted over at some point and Oscar had to take his time and actually sand off all the paint to be able to sweat the pipe properly.

Eugene's price was a little less than the other estimates I had gotten from some other plumbing companies. The work was done well and quickly. This is the first time I've had to call a plumber for our home and would definitely use The Art of plumbing again in the future.

I recently had Eugene from the Art of Plumbing out to my home for repairs/replacement of toilets in both of the bathrooms in my home. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service I received. He was on time (which I value as this has been a problem for me with plumbers in the past) and the service was of high quality. He did a great job at a reasonable price.

I wanted to like this company. I saw so many good reviews about them. Eugene came right over and told us what was wrong with the toilet that kept running. It needed a simple part. We had a lot of plumbing issues that needed to be fixed. We decided to do the most critical, the running toilet first.

What he did not tell us was there was a flat fee to come out and fix it.(I guess our bad for not asking.) His assistant came out and replaced the part we discussed on our toilet. This is when he sprung the flat fee cost of $125 to us. Surprise. The guy spent 15 minutes putting in the part. We were given no receipt.

Hours later, the toilet is still running. I called Eugene again. He said it would cost another flat $125 to come see why it is still running. He then said it would be better to ask Kohler to replace the toilet. I asked for a copy of our receipt (this was the third time asking for a copy) several times. No receipt.

Of course being an older toilet, Kohler will not replace it and I am out $125.

I called to get a water leak fixed on a Friday afternoon. Eugene was busy, but came out to Sunnyvale at quitting time and quickly identified the problem and proceeded to replace my water heater in short order. He was professional and friendly, and I couldn't really ask for any better service. I'll definitely be calling on him for any future work that I need done.
