The Angeleno Handyman was founded in 2012 when the world seemed to be ending. I’m joking, my daughter arrived a day after leap year, on March 1st. As a first-time father, I felt a tremendous sense of responsibility. At that time, I worked for my uncle in the remodeling business and realized I needed to seek more for my new family. When summer rolled around three months later, I started accepting jobs independently. I made it a point to be respectful and genuine with my clients while working in their homes. I recognized the seriousness of the process, and I made it a point to engage with them regularly. Unlike many contractors who saw it as just another task, I prioritized the relationships I developed. From that summer onward, I have handled numerous jobs, from odd jobs to quick fixes, tough challenges, and everything else. If something is out of my skill set, I’ll be upfront and direct the customer appropriately.
