The Angeleno Handyman was founded in 2012 at a moment when it felt like the world was coming to an end. I’m joking, my daughter arrived a day after leap year, on March 1st. As a first-time father, I felt a tremendous sense of responsibility. At that time, I worked for my uncle in the remodeling business and realized I needed to seek more for my new family. When summer rolled around three months later, I started accepting jobs independently. I approached every client with respect and authenticity while working on their homes. I understood the importance of the work, which is why I always took time to talk and see how they were doing. Differently from other workers who treated it as just another job, I cherished the connections I formed. Since that summer, I have tackled various jobs, including odd jobs, quick fixes, tough challenges, and everything in between. If a task exceeds my capabilities, I will be transparent and steer the client toward the best solution.
