In 2012, The Angeleno Handyman began at a moment when it felt like the world was coming to an end. I’m joking, my daughter was born a day after leap year on March 1st. The arrival of my daughter brought an overwhelming sense of responsibility. I was employed by my uncle in the remodeling field and felt the urge to find more opportunities for my new family. Three months later, as summer began, I started taking on jobs independently. I made it a point to be respectful and genuine with my clients while working in their homes. I recognized the seriousness of the process, so I took the time to chat and check in with them. Differently from other workers who treated it as just another job, I cherished the connections I formed. Since then, I have taken on a variety of tasks, including odd jobs, quick fixes, tough challenges, and everything in between. If a job is beyond my expertise, I will be honest and guide the customer in the right direction.
