Within a few days he had his crew, spearheaded by Josh out to my place with a crane installing a new unit. Very thorough, very competitive in his pricing and highly recommended!! Raul and his team did a great job and I highly recommend them.

First, Raul came over for an in-person walkthrough to see the scope of the work. He responded to my call/text same day and was able to visit within a few days. After the in-person walkthrough, an itemized work order was sent to me, and we scheduled the job.

Raul and his team were able to accommodate a Saturday and were also willing to work on Sunday too, if they couldn't finish on Saturday. This was a huge plus for us, since it's very difficult for us to take off work and get disrupted during weekdays.

They (3 total) all showed up exactly on time at 8am and were able to take care of everything in a single visit, including:

-Fixing a section of wood floor that had heavy squeaking and some dipping when stepped on.
-Heavy paint chip repair for several parts of the water heater pillar
-Sealing gap where water heater pipe meets ceiling
-Fixing a sliding drawer (track on one side needed to be re-attached to the cabinet frame)
-Strengthening kitchen cabinet shelving (brackets needed to be secured to the cabinet frame)
-Leveling a sliding door
-Silicone caulking the base perimeter of shower

We inspected the work and if we had any adjustments we wanted, they were able to accommodate them immediately.

Based on our positive experience, we'll definitely be reaching out to Raul for future projects!

I needed to extend my roof about a foot to overhang the porch to prevent flooding when it rains. I had called several 5 star roofers and received no responses or they declined the job. None of them seemed interested in doing this roof repair. So I decided to use a handyman and contacted Raul who had repaired my kitchen cabinet floor board that was water damaged and he had done an excellent job with it. This was a bigger job and it was good to see Raul using his crew and they did an Amazing job, doing the framework, installing the roofing, painting all the wood components and then doing something no other workers had done before - he cleaned the work area cleaner than when it was at the start. Raul is knowledgeable, works efficiently, has a hard work ethic, and is FAIR and HONEST. I say honest because we had planned on having a rain gutter installed on the roof extension job but we decided flashing would work better due to the high volume of leaves that fall in that area and would continually clog a new rain gutter. Since the rain gutter was stipulated in the agreement, Raul installed the rain gutter elsewhere in a much needed area. I told him to charge me the difference and he gave me a fair and honest price - that is something most contractors would have taken advantage of. I highly recommend using the Affordable & Licensed Handyman because he is the Real Deal and wants to do an EXCELLENT job for you.

Raul and his assistant did an excellent job involving the demolition of an old shower's tile walls and floor, including the cement backing, down to the studs and subfloor. I found them easy to work with, professional, and friendly. Also had them do some replastering on a return job.

We hired Raul and his team to fix up bunch of things at our new home. Raul was punctual, professional, and efficient with his work. He also did not over promised and under delivered, but rather the opposite! He did everything we asked for and even more. We had some minor issues that needed fixing, and his team was more than willing to take a look and provide a solution on the spot.

Some of the major works were fixing the leak from our walk-in shower. Instead of replacing multiple parts and costing us a lot of money, they found a way to fix the issues with what we had. The next day I had a bit of leak, and the team came back out again asap and fixed it right away.

We would happily hire Raul and his team again for any future fixes, and would highly recommend others to him!
