Just had a really positive experience using this company's services for the first time. I contacted them via Yelp and Raul got in touch within an hour, and then came by the house a few hours later to check out the work needed and give me an estimate.

I needed some holes patched up in a door frame where I removed the door, grout put in some bathroom tile, shelves installed, and weather stripping put on an exterior door. Raul quickly gave me a fair estimate which I agreed to, and he came back 2 days later to do the work.

On the day of work, Raul was on time, personable, professional, and very efficient - finishing all the jobs earlier than either of us thought possible, and in a high quality manner nonetheless.

I highly recommend contacting this business if you need minor to major work done in your house!

This morning, we noticed our sink was leaking. We called Raul and he and his assistant came out right away. They solved our leak problem quickly and efficiently and purchased and installed a new faucet for us. Everything was taken care of and fixed within a few hours. Very affordable price for the work done. Hope to work with him again the next time we need help with a house project!

Great work done. Very fair price. Raul sent his assistant Artemio who hung a curtain rod, some window blinds, fixed a broken kitchen drawer and also built a desk that I ordered from Amazon. The work only took a couple hours and Artemio was courteous and professional. I definitely recommend The Affordable Handyman for your home projects.

I used Raul's service to repair a kitchen under sink structural problem behind my dishwasher. Raul sent out his assistant on the same day I contacted him. His assistant Jesus, evaluated the job and then Raul gave me a quote via text message.

The quote was very reasonable and I was surprised that they could come to make the repair on the next day, which was a Sunday. The quote was for labor. I was responsible for materials needed to complete the job. The full extent of which couldn't be determined until the job was underway.

Jesus showed up the next day with a helper, diagnosed the needed repair, went out and purchased the materials and completed the repair in the time previously indicated. He took before and after pictures all along the way, so I could see problem areas and the completed repairs done in each area. I could never have squeezed into those spaced to see for myself. After just a few moments I became very comfortable with this crew in my home. When they finished, they left the work area as clean as they found it. Jesus presented purchase receipts for materials and I happily paid. All in all, a great experience. I will definitely use this service for other projects in my home!

Needed somebody to install an outdoor motion detector light (with no existing fixture). Tried to get quotes from various electricians but they were not responsive, probably because the size of the job was pretty small (one light install). Found Raul on Yelp reached out via his quote service and he responded within a few hours. Arranged for him to come out that week and he finished the job quickly and efficiently. Our attic was full of blown insulation so i'd imagine it was difficult to find existing circuits, not to mention it was very hot that day, but no complaints from Raul or his helper. He even referred us to a good security guy to install cameras. Would highly recommend.

Raul and Jesse showed up an hour after we called. We had bought a new dishwasher and couldn't fit it under the sink because there was tile. They came and removed the tile - and the dishwasher, by the way, which was NOT their job - all for a very fair price and quickly. They were able to save the tile so we could put it back after we installed the new dishwasher. We were impressed with their quick work and good attitude. It was great working with them. Highly recommend.

I had such a great experience working with Raul. We needed a small handyman job done and were hoping to get it done within a day or two. We called several different handymen (that we also found from Yelp) and Raul was the most responsive and also gave us a very reasonable price for the job.
