Unreliable company. He is unavailable to talk by phone. Always a text that he's unavailable to talk after I would call. When I requested a written or email estimate specifying the work to be done and the amount (to confirm both parties were on the same page and to avoid any issues), he sent a very condescending and rude text saying he has ""dozens of people desperate"" to hire him and would be passing on the job as he ""always tries [his] best to make [his] life as easy as possible"" all because I asked for a written estimate. This raised a red flag to me that he doesn't stand by his work and is not a hard worker but rather looking for the easy route, and I would potentially have future problems with his work. Wouldn't recommend working with a company like this. Bad customer service.

Raul went above and beyond to deal with a serious leak during bad weather and we avoided a lot of damage. He's worked for us before and we would definitely hire him again. Thorough , trustworthy and prompt!

The wind and rain meant I had a problem with my chimney and rain was pouring down the chimney and into my living room.
Sent a request via mail and had a reply within 30 minutes and the guys were at my house on a Sunday an hour after that.
The rain was pouring down but they did the emergency repair very quickly and stopped the leak.
Price was reasonable and I will use them again in the future

FENCE REPAIR:
Due to the high winds we received here in Granada Hills a few weeks ago, my backyard fence started to fall over. The fence was leaning at a 45 degree angle towards my backyard neighbor. I was searching through Yelp and came across ""The Affordable & Licensed Handyman"". I was impressed by all the reviews I've read and although hesitant at first, I decided to leave a message. I received a quick reply from Raul. Within an hour he came to my house to assess the damage the winds caused to the fence. Raul and Jesse were very professional and they offered to start the job that same day, but I had to decline because of prior engagements. They came the next morning and started the job. They completed the job in a very timely manner and the price was quite fair. The fence is more sturdy now compared to when we purchased the house! If I ever need other home repairs in the future I know who to call. If you are looking for someone to fix or build something, give them a call. You will not regret it!

With the recent rain in LA, I discovered that we had a pretty bad leaky window in our house. Actually, we knew it was leaking last year and had somebody come out and caulk it, but apparently they didn't really fix the problem and the window was leaking pretty badly again. I called Raul, and he and Jesse came out a few hours later. They took care of it right away, and went a step farther than just caulking the window by figuring out the source of the leak (a diverted drain) and fixed it up. We've had a bit of rain since then and although it hasn't been as hard, the window is dry! Raul and Jesse were professional and prompt, and I will call them again if we need any other repairs in our home.

We were stuck right before the holidays when Amazon Home Services screwed us. They promised to build the outdoor trampoline we ordered, but didn't show for the first two appts. Then Amazon canceled. So we had an unbuilt trampoline present for the kids. Not very fun.

Raoul heard our plea and sent someone over right away. It was a two person job and the quote was more than the trampoline cost or than I could afford as a single mom. I regretfully declined. I thought that was it. But then he asked me what I COULD afford. I told him. I figured it wasn't enough and I kept looking.

The very next day, two of his men showed up to do the job for my price! We were blown away and it was a beautiful holiday surprise. I actually do have a lot of handyman tasks around here, and I plan on going to Raul for them. He saved us and his guys were awesome, even working in some light rain which much have been difficult.

Raul and his assistant completed a bunch of repairs at my home very efficiently. He arrived on time as planned for repairs. The repairs included fixing broken light switch, door jam and rain gutter leakage. His quotes are reasonable and he double checks his work to make sure it is done properly. I would definitely hire him again for any new home repairs.

Fast, courteous, professional and reasonably priced! Would definitely use this vendor again. Had them install a prefab mantel and mount my TV to a wall bracket. Reached out to them on a Friday and job was completed by the following Sunday! Raul and Frank were a pleasure to work with and they do excellent work!

Great service. Needed a faucet swapped out in my bathroom and Raul was quick with a reply on a quote. When he came over accessed what needed to be done and job was done on time and per the quote. Would recommend Raul to those looking for a all around handyman

We needed some repair to an exterior door on our home. Based on other reviews, I called Raul this morning, expecting to see him later in the week. He and his partner, Jesse, were at our home this afternoon. They took a look at the door and knew what needed to be done. Jesse went out to his truck, got his tools, and fixed our door. I couldn't have asked for a quicker and more efficient response to our phone call. Their price was very fair. We will call them again if/when we need repair work around our home.
