Like the majority of the reviews, they show up say well you'll need this or that and then are never to be heard from again. I was sent these ass clowns by American Home Shield who are another kind of ass clown.
Their business model seems to be grab the payout from AHS and move on to the next one and do the same.
Well, I am glad I have prepaid legal, lets have some fun.
Avoid at all costs!

Do not use this company. They don't return calls, they don't follow through, and never heard anything again after they came out for a service diagnosis. Never answers the phone and has not return voice mails from 2 different people and phones. Pick any other company and you will be better off.

Unprofessional and dishonest.

They will collect the service fee from the warranty company by showing up. They'll spend about 3-5 minutes "diagnosing" and then submit a claim with the warranty company for something they know isn't covered by warranty. You'll never hear from them again. They stop responding, even when the warranty company has asked for you to continue working with them on the problem for "off warranty" repairs.

Good luck getting a better contractor for a second opinion through your warranty company. I had AHS. I finally canceled them after this very simple plumbing issue couldn't get resolved.

I don't doubt my decision to cancel AHS for one second. I feel relieved. I can breathe again. After nearly 10 hours on the phone hoping to get some resolution, and receiving the runaround, I'm finally liberated from idiocy and dishonesty, and I can move on with my life.

They are banking on the sunk cost fallacy. Since you're paying money toward unpredictable needs in the future, you believe you'll get something out of it when you need it. But the house always wins, my friend. They'll give you enough excused to not do the right thing, you'll spend hours on the phone hoping to get a simple issue resolved, and eventually you'll grow tired and weary and question how people can be this terrible to each other.

The sooner you get out of your contract, the sooner you can move on with your life.

CALL RIGHT NOW AND CANCEL AMERICAN HOME SHIELD. DO IT. you can thank me later. They are the only reason Texpro is still in the business of dishonesty.

AHS is a scam and they are in bed with local plumbers like these guys, who are in on the scam. They both get paid while you get screwed. Neither AHS nor Texpro cares about their customers.

Cancel your AHS contract immediately, and hire an honest professional plumber who will do the job well. Budget for repairs. Otherwise, you will waste your time, money, energy and peace of mind with American Home Shield and Texpro. They don't value you and resources. But you can by cancelling AHS.

Don't be fooled by the shiny website with all of its positive reviews. Call and CANCEL AHS. That way you never have to deal with a plumber like this in your life.

We had Texpro out through American Home Shield for an issue with our water heater. They arrived on time and diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and told us when they would be back out. Technician was friendly and knowledgeable and fixed our issue. Great job!

I'd give them LESS than ZERO stars! They are liars- scammers.... They are Associated with AHS home warranty... and both service calls we had with them to replace toilet tank mechanism.. TexPro tried to say it's not covered due to high water pressure! Such liars- we got 2nd opinion And they replaced the mechanism in a matter of minutes. TexPro doesn't answer their phone, doesn't call back and are unprofessional. Use them at your own roak!

I was assigned Texpro by my warranty company. Boy do I wish I could give 0 stars.

My water heater is out. It does not produce any hot water. Texpro came to look at it. They said they didn't have the part with them to fix it so they would have to reschedule. A day goes by. Nothing from Texpro. I call, hit the voicemail. Call again at a different time; voicemail. I call about a dozen times and leave voicemails over the course of a week or 2 and received no response. I called my warranty company many times. Half the time the warranty company got no response. It turns out that Texpro had to submit some documents to my warranty company to authorize the purchase of the parts needed to fix my water heater. Everytime my warranty company got a hold of Texpro, Texpro said they would submit the docs the next day. Fine, but it took Texpro OVER A MONTH to submit those docs to my warranty company. And you know the worst part about it? Texpro, in those docs, said there was NO ISSUE with the water heater. I can "run" the hot water tap and confirm that there is still NO HOT WATER. I filed a complaint with my warranty company.

Texpro Plumbing came to the rescue for us. Our hot water heater went out and Texpro showed up on time and went the extra mile to get the part needed to get us back into hot water. The technician, Hagen, did his research and was able to locate a hard to find part the same day. Texpro Plumbing made this family some very happy campers!!!

Worst plumbing company-- was assigned by American Home Shield so I did not have any choice of a plumbing contractor. Their plumber refused to diagnose the water heater issue as soon as she realized the water heater in in the attic. The plumber said the company cannot do the job but they still charged me $125.

As with all the other reviews....horrible communication and follow up. Apparently their goal is just to take the $75 service fee from American Home Shield and never actually follow up. How foolish when I was also going to use them to install two toilets to the tune of $900. They never sent me quotes like they said they would and this was the owners wife....l called and texted and they never called back or bothered to even text back. Yet they tried to FaceTime me at 1am.

American home shield assigned this company to fix my plumbing, they never picked up the phone whatsoever. You are lucky that they call you in two days. But when they came in, stayed for 5 mins roughly exam the leak then left. I received an email two days later telling me it's not cover without them doing anything.
I tried to tell American home shield to assign someone else. But they refused to do so. And all their contractors are less than 3 star reviews
