Our home owners warranty company sent TRS out after our AC cut out in triple digit heat and TRS was able to come out same-day (THANK THE LORD ALMIGHTY)....

Juan got stuck in a little Austin traffic, but came within the promised time frame. He was super friendly and got right to work after seeing the miserable look on my face. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue, a busted compressor, and grabbed a part from his truck.

Once he replaced it, he stayed to test the cooling levels with his special tool and to make sure it was actually cooling instead of jetting off.

My mom happened to be visiting and was also impressed with Juan (she's not easily impressed). She asked him to come service her AC in a different city and he gladly accepted even though it's an hour away!

Truly, the greatest customer service. It seems that Juan has left a great impression on others and I can attest that he deserves the kudos!

I have used TRS for many jobs and complete new a/c systems and been very happy with them. The owner really cares and does try to do his best. I've found them to be very honest and good at what they do.

Juan was a no show. He and my husband agreed on a price to install a 2 zone mini split. He said he would install on Monday. I waited all day long for him arrive. He never came..never called. He did not respond to repeated telephone calls and text messages. As a result of him not showing, he has put my entire project behind. Beware, Juan was anything BUT reliable.

Just want to say that we had some a/c trouble early Sat morning and I couldn't find the number to the man who had worked on our unit before. It was hot, we were miserable, and so I chose to call TRS, one of the companies that had been mentioned on our neighborhood fb page. The tech came out, didn't use one tool to measure ANYTHING. I did already have the front face of the indoor unit taken off for him to look at, but he literally brought in a black bag and never took a tool out of it. Then we went outside and he just looked around. He took a some pics of the model and serial number with his phone and that was it. He said he thought I needed a new circuit board....that would be around $200 plus labor. He said he was going to contact the owner and let him know what was going on and he would get back with me. He did get back with me late the next evening and said I needed a whole new indoor unit, that would cost $2,100 because mine a/c unit was old (10 yrs old this Dec) and proceeded to tell me about the warranty. Today I found the number from the original man who worked on our unit 2 yrs ago and he promptly came over and diagnosed the problem as a defective fan motor. He went to the supplier, bought it and installed it in less than 20 min. He checked my coils, went outside and checked the freon level and let it run for a bit to make sure it was working correctly. Parts and labor cost me $768.00 He even came back later this evening to double check and make sure everything was running smoothly. Now why would any honest company try and sell you a new machine rather than buy brand new parts that are still made for my current unit? I may be blonde but I'm no fool. If you use no tools to diagnose my problem then promptly try to sell me a whole new unit, you're being greedy and not practicing good business. $2,100 vs $768 is quite a difference....at least to me it is. Honestly and doing the right thing goes waaayy farther with me than someone just trying to make a buck not caring that we didn't need to spend that amount. So if you have a/c needs please call Ram Air and tell Edgar that Laura sent you. You won't be sorry. I'm just glad I didn't go with the first company and waste a lot of money. Owner is friendly and courteous.

As a courtesy they resealed the blower unit (mastic), no extra charge!

We just had an amazing experience with Texas Reliable Services! We have been without a/c since yesterday around 6 pm. After having a horrible exchange with Austin Aire and Heating, Juan from TRS went out of his way to come out, fix our problem, was friendly, gave us an ETA so we could make sure we didn't miss him, and had the part we needed in his truck so we could get our house cooling down as soon as possible. Did I mention this was all done at 9:30 at night?! I am so grateful for him...and to not have a 97* house!

We suffered outrageous electric bills for two months and have hard time with HWA. I told HWA that it was final straw and there was something wrong with our ac unit. TRS was third company to come our place. HWA send the request to TRS and Juan contacted us right away (an hour) and said that he could come here right away. Juan came out to diagnose the problem and sped everything up. TRS company came in 9 AM and worked so hard. They finally left at 3:30 PM. Hours of working to make sure that they actually fixed everything. Also, they replaced the filters for us which was very generous of them. Two months of waiting and have the right company came. It was worth it. Will call them again if we have any problems. They deserve more than five stars!

Lastly, I asked them at very last min and see if they could install two nest thermostats that I was thinking about to buy. They said sure of course and I ran to home depot to buy two nest thermostats. They installed it right away and it is running perfectly! They are not here to hurry things up to get money. They are here to make sure that their people are happy and satisfied.

Found TRS on yelp, figured I'd give it shot since the business is close by & the reviews were great. Juan was fast, friendly, knowledgable, and professional!!! I would recommend to any of my friends & family. After the storm we just had recently, it caused corrosion/wear&tear on a few of the wires on my outdoor a/c unit which resulted in the fan to stop spinning. There is really no good time for the ac to stop working properly but Juan came to the rescue to save us from the Texas summer heat on the weekend!!! Thankfully he had all the parts needed to fix the job in record time. As as homeowner, it's important for me to know I can count on TRS for AC anything!
