We had Terry Massey come to our house to consult with us about a problem with our pipes and washing machine flow issues. Previously we had a quote from another company who said we needed to replace the pipes which would have cost us over $1500! When Terry came he made other recommendations to try first. The first thing he tried took about an hour and fixed the problem without us having to replace our pipes...saving us over a $1000!!! He was very efficient and did an amazing job. We will recommend him to anyone who has plumbing needs!

Attached is the actual message sent to Terry Massey Plumbing requesting a quote for three faucets via Yelp.

Just like his business' claim that he ""follows all guidelines"" during COVID-19, like him NOT wearing a mask both times he showed up to come into my home.

If Terry cannot read the Yelp request, is not ""following guidelines"" during a pandemic, and cannot repair a basic tub or sink leak he should be the last # you call for help.

Honesty is the best policy, unless you are Terry Massey Plumbing

We had an appointment with another plumber that cancelled at the end of the day (no reason) So I called 8 other plumbers BUT Only Terry would come out and even thought it was late, he fixed our hot water gushing leak in no time flat and the cost was SO MUCH better than we imagined. Thank-you SO Much we will have you back to fix a few other things! Hire this Man you will be happy! We are so thrilled with him!! (oh, he also did not mind our little dog wanting to help him and basically being right in the way)

This plumbing company is truly a class act. We hired them to fix a washing machine leak and get water flowing in a defunct bathroom we've ignored for years. But the moment Terry turned on one of our faucets, he frowned and asked ""What's going on with your water pressure?"" It's always been pathetically low and we plumbing ignoramuses thought unless we replaced all our ancient pipes for zillions we had to live with it. Terry and his son David could simply have done what we hired them to do, but instead they did some serious detective work, found the issue and in a matter of hours got that sweet SWEET plentiful water flowing. It was more work than we'd budgeted for, but Terry and David gave us a great deal on the cost. I couldn't be more grateful--I can finally take a lovely hot bath!!!!!!!If you want plumbers with integrity, who really care about your water issues, Terry and David Massey are your guys. Terry and a young man (his son?) arrived promptly and did a terrific job repairing a burst pipe leading to the outdoor faucet. When I had a small leak at the faucet site the next day, they returned quickly, diagnosed the problem as the hose I'd attached, not their work, put a washer in the hose, and fixed the leak. They could not have been nicer about the second visit for a problem that was not of their making. They are the best. Will use them again and again.

Finally, I have found a plumber who does great work at a very fair price. I have been in Portland only 4 years and have had some very bad experiences. I am so grateful and happy that I found a plumber who is COMPETENT and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. My bathroom faucet was dripping on both sides. I tried to fix it and ordered parts, but like many plumbing projects, it quickly became way too difficult. The cold water handle was completely frozen inside, and it turned out that American Standard had sent a faucet base that didn't work with the set. Terry and son went out and picked up a set that would go with my old fashioned pedestal sink and popped it in. They are honest and competent. The job took about 5 hours (due to issues with frozen faucet and wrong base) and what he charged me was more than fair. Highly recommend!

Update: I recommended Terry to a good friend who had been given estimates in the thousands of dollars to re-plumb the entirety of her new rental property to fix water pressure issues, and Terry did it for $150 by identifying one very obvious thing that the other plumbers had all overlooked.
