We live in a high-rise condo with a 40 year old HVAC system. That dog was screaming in pain when we turned on the a/c this summer. After seeking advise from a fellow resident who is a pro in HVAC, he told us what needed to be done. Josh came out at assessed what we needed and set forth to order the parts. Well, this old building's parts are hard to ge and we waited several weeks but managed ok without the a/c. (Bedroom a/c worked fine...just living room a/c was the problem.) Then, when the weather started to cool, we were anxious to get the repair done. Just in time, the parts arrived. The entire quote came in a couple hundred higher than originally quoted, but we understand the nature of getting parts for this old system. It has been 3 weeks now...everthing is working perfectly. In fact, in 6 years of living in this condo, I have never heard this system function so effortlessly.

I called my home warranty to schedule the heater service for the winter. Josh was the technician. The office dispatch kept in contact with me regarding my appointment. Josh called the morning Of my appointment to advise the estimated arrival time. When he arrived he was very professional and knowledgeable. He kept me informed on they type of heater I have (the manufacturer is no longer in business). Josh advised what to look for and how to change the furnace filter. I appreciate his knowledge!

Efficient, very courteous staff. They did an excellent, thorough job on both an emergency gas valve leak repair and routine yearly maintenance. While this may seem expected, my experience is that its been really hard to find reliable service companies in the South Lake Tahoe/NV area. Switching over to Tech for sure!

STOP!! SEARCHING FOR AN AC HEATING AND PLUMBING COMPANY I GOT YOU FAM!!!

This company, this company is the best ac and plumbing company in the US of A. Period. They not only came out when no one else would on a weekend they went to bat for us with our home warranty company. From the guy who came out to the receptionist this company is the bees knees, these people are amazing. They took a situation that sucked and made it their priority to make it better. Josh the tech was freaking awesome so in the words of Andre 3000 of outcast- what's colder then cold. My ac thanks to these amazing people..

Tech came out and told me he was only allowed to put ""Band-Aids"" on the situation do to my warentee company, my warentee company said they would do anything the techs recommended.... Not sure who was telling the truth or where the miscommunication happened, but I do know the problem persisted after he left. Warentee company called them to dispatch another tech, the company never responded, I left multiple messages with no responses, warentee company called them, they didn't answer. Now the warentee company is sending a different company to work on the heater do to this company not answering the phone or responding to voicemails.

If I could give NO STARS, I would!!!
We requested service through our home warranty and Tech Plumbing & Heating was super prompt, customer service was great to begin with but the tech didn't solve our problem and now they're basically telling us to get fucked...

Complaint: low air flow from vents in living room, unit is excessively loud.
Solution: unit components are new so can't do anything about it being loud, close the vents in the bedrooms closest to the unit and it'll push more air to the rest of the house.

Well that didn't fix my problem and they didn't even check our ducts to see if there was an obstruction!!
Tried talking to them multiple times today with promises of call backs but that never happened.
They're unwilling to come back out but jees they can suggest that we need to replace all the ducting in the house!!

I have been using Tech Plumbing & Heating for years now for my home and my two rental homes. Bar none, hands down, they are the best. For reals, I'm a real customer, I can't describe how frustrating it was to get any other plumber to my house for repair and maintenance work until I stumbled upon this gem of a business. They always work with me on dates and times, perform the work no matter how big or small my job was, very reasonable rates, extremely friendly office staff, I just can't speak highly enough of all of them. Do you have any idea how hard it was to get someone to change a garbage disposal in my rental? I literally called called dozens of plumbers and they all said "" ya, I don't do that"". That's how I found Tech, and they changed that garbage disposal for me years ago, and I'm still overly happy with that job and all the ones they ha e done for me since.
