After a main line back up nightmare with another company, Team Rooter, specifically Alex and Kenny came through for us in a big way. We had received a very expensive bid to perform an epoxy liner installation into our old cast iron main line, and Team Rooter was able to save us MORE THAN HALF of that original estimate. Kenny was especially helpful in describing some of the predatory practices used by companies in defaulting their solution to the high price/short job of epoxy lining and was able to present other options clear and concisely to a new homeowner. In the end, we went with trenchless pipe burst technology to install a new 4"" main line instead of the epoxy lining. While this may not be a solution to all, we were able to cut down on costs while getting a new pipe vs. retrofitting an older one.

Team Rooter was also supportive of our strategy of getting competing bids from other companies, which is a truly honorable thing to do in this industry. They were able to separate their bid as well as price match the competition.

Upon agreeing to the work, Kenny and his team were able to get started immediately and have the job wrapped up in short time. He was kind enough to perform an after action cam of the main line as well as answer any lingering questions we had. Team Rooter will be our go to from here on out, as the professional, genuine service we received from start to finish will not go unnoticed.

Had a septic line blockage in north San Diego county on a Saturday. They were on the scene within two hours with multiple cables and a high-tech camera. They were able to clear the blockage and only charged $69 (no travel fee) !!

They were pricier when it came time to dig up the root-infested pipe and fix it, but the work was excellent and carries a 10-year warranty.

Would definitely recommend this team.

Our bathtub, toilet and sink all stopped draining on a Monday evening. My new homeowner nightmares were slowly becoming reality.. Nick came out within the hour to get everything flowing again but we knew we had a more serious sewer problem. He said he would come back the next day to fully clear it out (giving us the option, since doing it right then and there would cost nearly twice as much due to after-hours). He showed up as promised the next day, and Kenny came by shortly after and checked it out with the camera showing a huge root had grown through the pipe and fully blocked it. He and Nick had explained everything every step of the way and answered all my annoying questions.

As nightmarish as this problem was, Nick and Kenny were pleasant, honest and upfront. Nick even offered to install a second cleanout (something our original contractors had quoted/invoiced the previous owners for but never apparently did!) at no extra charge while he had the walkway all dug out. Nick also went and bought sand and rocks to restore the walkway to the original condition and it looks great.

All in all our problem was completely fixed within 72 hours - diagnosis, excavation, replacement of damaged pipe and installation of a liner for the entire line. We did not shop around since we are new (dumb) homeowners but after reading all the reviews (literally, I read every single review) of Team Rooter, I found that most had the same thing to say: they quoted a little higher than others, but offered a better warranty and had the best reviews and customer service so people ultimately went with them over the cheaper guys. The few negative reviews did not show any kind of pattern so can probably be attributed more to people who are chronically negative, IMO. Can't beat the warranty and their amazing military discount! Made it all totally worth it to us.

I have never been as impressed as with Team-Rooter. From the initial call with Clarissa to the follow up texts to keep me informed and the work by AJ. Very rapid response which is almost unheard of today. One of the best systems I have ever experienced!

Wanted $2500 to disconnect/reconnect a tankless water-heater for an identical swap-out with a new unit I already picked up for warranty purposes. Would have amounted to a disconnection/reconnection of 2 water lines (already in place) and one gas line. Approximately 30-60 minutes maximum labor.

Next quote came in over the phone as he was leaving at $350-450.

Alex showed up at my house less than 30 minutes after I called. He tried getting access to the drain clog I had through an external clean out that had some routing challenges. He called in a senior technician (Kenny) who was on site within 10-15 minutes and they both successfully routed the snake rooter through the pipes and cleared out the clog. Furthermore, Kenny used a camera to make sure the clog didn't cause a block in the main line. Despite this additional work they only charged me the original quoted price for the drain removal and did not upcharge. Based on the rapid response, quick escalation, resolution and additional verification of the work, I'd highly recommend these folks for any plumbing needs they can meet. Outstanding!

The only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star is because the technician was timely and professional . They tried to charge me $2300 for a job I got done for $450 from another plumber with 5* rating on Yelp . Make sure you get a couple estimates before going with this company

Kenny and Kevin coordinated efforts to fix our clogged drain. They replaced old cast iron pipes that had corroded. They were very professional, hardworking, reliable, and we were pleased with their work.
