Doesn't show up as scheduled or reply to texts or calls once scheduled last two appointments over a month, but can call in sick for first appt. No show or call for second appointment, and after I track him down and schedule a third appointment he again no shows, no calls or replies to texts. Andy, when we spoke last you said I was your first stop this morning meaning before 8am; I asked for an eta at 7:40am and never heard back. Business suggestion, have your wife who rescheduled the first appt., confirm additional appts if you are too busy to keep track of them.

All around very happy with my experience with Tavares. Andy was responsive, quick to schedule, arrive and install a new water heater for me. Price was by far the lowest of all quotes I received. Andy and his wife Angie were also a pleasure to work with, both very friendly and professional. HIGHLY recommend for all of your plumbing needs.

WATER HEATER REPLACEMENT
i contacted multiple companies to get pricing, they gave me the best price and after u approved the price they scheduled service for the NEXT DAY.

They called me when they where on their way, the removed and installed the new water heater. During installation they found the shut off valve was extremely corroded, they took care of that as well and didn't change the price on me.

Our hot water heater sprung a leak...like a huge leak. After calling our home warranty company (Select Home Warranty-they suck) and finding out they don't cover leaks (WTH), we called Parker and Sons, who we have a contract with. They came out checked it and said it would cost $3000!!!! And that was with my ""discount"". WTF!!! Knowing this was exorbitant, I quickly checked the good ol' internet. Tavares Plumbing advertises as ""flat rate"", so I called. He promptly called back and gave me a flat rate (50 gal heater $935, added warranty,10 year total, $250) $1135 for exactly what I needed. Honesty and not gouging, imagine that! He said he'd be over the next day and he was! And the price was exactly what he said. He let himself in my garage, did the job and left after cleaning up and making sure my garage door was locked. P.S. I was able to check on the progress via my security cameras. I was flabbergasted at the professionalism, honesty, promptness, etc. if I had to do it again...I'd save a lot of effort and call Tavares Plumbing.

2. Parker & Sons price gouge (3x the going rate)
3. Select Home Warranty sucks
4. Did I say, Tavares Plumbing is awesome? They are!

Sounds great but our experience was HORRIBLE.
NO SHOW....TWICE! Had an appointment with quote.
After first NO SHOW finally got ahold of ANDY. Told me he FORGOT.
Andy said he would send someone else. Never heard from him again.
Cannot believe he stays in business.

Can I give a sixth star?

Our water heater was in its way out and my wife got tired of me putting it off so she contacted several of the popular plumbing companies for quotes. I was surprised by the markup that these companies were charging to replace the water heater.

I did some research online and came across Tavares Plumbing who had great reviews about the service and the price compared to the competition. So I sent him an email that evening and received a response within minutes with a price (about 1/2 of what the other companies had quoted).

Needless to say, we hired Tavares Plumbing. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the owner does all the installations himself because who doesn't want to help a small business and as an added bonus, you get a master plumber ensuring that everything is done right! He even replaces parts that a lot of other companies will charge you $100+ more for.

I hope you call Andy at Tavares Plumbing and have as great as an experience as we did!

How do you get excited about a new water heater? I got to tell you that Andy and Tavares Plumbing are a rock solid 5 star company.
I was 10 years into a 12 year warranty hot water heater and thought I'd check out Tavares Plumbing.
Next day Andy was there and installed a professional grade heater quickly. I've already recommended him to my son (who has 2 homes here in the Valley) and I'll be using him for our second home (a rental in Chandler).
I'm done with the Home Depot and Lowe's nightmares. Tavares is the most cost effective and best choice.
