These guys (Andy and Angie) are AMAZING!!! After spending a week trying to work with my home warranty company (FRUSTRATING). One call to Tavares plumbing late in the afternoon on Monday and we had a new water heater installed the next day! I can't say enough about how impressed I am by this company. Old school outstanding customer service that is not easy to find these days plus their prices were great too! I if my warranty company follows through and reimburses me for the water heater I will be less out of pocket now than I would have been with their vendors ridiculous up charges and overcharges. Thanks again Andy and Angie!!!

They replaced a couple of water heaters and that went well. However, they replaced a cartridge on a tub that failed after just over a month. First Andy said he would contact Moen for a replacement. After a few days he said he would just use his own part and come out and do the job. He failed to come out the day he promised and after leaving multiple messages I have never heard back.

The first time I called Tavares Plumbing, it was great - Andy responded quickly, got the job done well (garbage disposal replacement), and at a good price.

So several weeks later when I needed some more work done, I called him first. Sadly, this was a mistake.

First, he said he'd be there the next day around noon. That next day, I called him at 12:30 and he said it would be 2:30 at the earliest. He was still working on another job, and I told him I understood, that was fine, as long as he'd be able to come to our house that day.

After I called him a few more times for status updates (note: he never called me to let me know what was up, and always seemed surprised at how late in the day it was), he just stopped answering my calls completely. I had called several times, texted, and left one voicemail message... and nothing.

He had my address, phone number, and my information here on Yelp -- and he didn't just drop the ball, he kicked it into the next county.

It was very frustrating because our plumbing problem was with a sewage pump backup -- not only rendering a bathroom unusable, but filling the house with a horrible odor.

Had he said from the outset -- or, heck, even the next morning -- that he couldn't/wouldn't do the job, I could have contacted someone else sooner rather than later.

I ended up using Lawson Plumbing, who were awesome (if not exactly cheap).

Anyhow, I have called Tavares twice more since this debacle to see if he had any explanation or rationale, but he's apparently not taking calls (or at least not mine).

I'm not sure what happened with him, but it was super disappointing that he ghosted. It was also tough to have two adults and three kids sharing one bathroom, when this whole issue could have been resolved much sooner if he'd either done what he said he'd do, or had simply let me know he didn't want the job.

I've given him two stars in total: the average of 5 stars for the first job, and -2 stars for the second attempt to give him business.

Great service, Great communication

I found out that my old water heater is leaking and damage so I start shopping around for a reliable company, after I have spoken to many companies in the East Valley I have decided to go with Trevor's plumbing.
Why?!
1. His price was the best and fair
2. True local family oriented business
3. Easy to schedule

The overall work took a few hours, he cleaned and left my laundry room exactly is a found it no debris or anything that needed extra cleaning.

After the work was already done he took some extra time to look at a few things around my house as courtesy.

I am a registered contractor myself, I can recognize hard-working honest person when I see one. Keep up the good work !

I put in a request for a quote Friday at about 10:00PM, got a flat rate quote (which I love by the way) and an appointment confirmation right away. They came out early Saturday morning and had my water fixed in under an hour. And it was all no contact! I even paid over the phone. Will definitely recommend and use again if needed.

I highly recommend Tavares plumbing. Andy, the owner, responded immediately to my request for a price on a gas water heater and patiently answered all of my questions. He arrived on time and did a quality install. I had him take care of a couple of other plumbing issues while he was here.

Andy is a good guy and you can feel safe with him coming to your home. He is a very experienced and knowledgeable plumber. His wife Angie who works in the office is very helpful and friendly. They make a great team.

I will definitely be contacting Tavares Plumbing when I need more work done.

He was hired at the end of June when we realized that the appointment was over the 4th of July holiday, we adjusted for the following Tuesday. most of my conversations with Andy were over text message & I have taken the effort to capture these conversations. I have also tried to reach out to him over the Yelp messaging system. My point is despite repeated attempts to reach out I have not received an answer since July 3rd. In all fairness I have no idea what happened. UPDATE... Somehow this was a phone error we are back in touch and yea my bad for not using the Yelp messaging system sooner... Hey I own when I'm wrong we are hopefully moving forward :)UPDATE THIS GUY IS AWESOME!!! Legit as they come my showers and kitchen sink WORK!! Learn from my mistake if you lose touch for whatever reason reach out through another source this guy is a real find!
