Called them for the first time today and will call them once a year in the future to maintain my tankless water heater. They are extremely professional with very fair pricing. They came on time and not only serviced the unit, but went above and beyond to solve a water pressure problem with our shower. Very much appreciated. If you have a tankless heater, call them for basic servicing and definitely if you are having any plumbing problems.

After days of heavy rain, our excellent stainless steel Navien stopped working. I was unable to do a reset.

Because it had been installed by Tankless almost four years ago, I called them. Although they were very busy, they agreed to come by late in the day.

Ted came himself and went through the entire system. There was some problem with the pump, but the source of the shutoff was the system was not getting electricity.

The external outlet had become wet, and we had to connect the system to an inside outlet via an extension cord. Ted assured me that would be fine when the outlet dried off. I could not find one long enough.

Ted was polite, explained everything he was doing. He even offered to give me his 25' three wire extension cord, saying he could buy a new one the next day at Home Depot. I insisted on paying for the 'like new' extension cord.

Really great customer service. Tankless Hot Water Solutions came out to diagnose a problem we were experiencing with our 12 year old tankless water heater. They performed a repair that was suggested by the manufacturer of the tankless unit. After all was said and done, it turned out that the suggested repair was not necessary. Tankless Hot Water Solutions refunded the cost of the work without question. We also had them do some other needed plumbing tasks while they were out and the work was clean and well done. Many thanks to Kevin and David for great work and fantastic customer service. David always followed up when he said he would and kept me informed of his communications with the manufacturer throughout the whole process.

I had a bad experience with Tankless Hot Water Solutions/Rooter Shark Plumbing yesterday. I had filled out an online form to have someone come out for a 2-year check and de-scaling on my tankless water heater. There was nothing wrong with it, but it's recommended to have this done every 2 years by the manufacturer. The company emailed & texted the arrival time, and showed up on time. They did their check and de-scaling with CLR solution in about 45 minutes and left. I paid $249 for this. About 2 hours later, I went to my kitchen sink to wash out a glass I intended to drink out of. I noticed the water was cloudy and soapy looking. I also smelled a very strong chemical smell. To make a long story short, the guys from Rooter Shark Plumbing used caustic CLR to flush the tankless, DID NOT use the isolation valve to seal off the tankless heater from the rest of the plumbing, and did not rinse the unit thoroughly before leaving. I had CLR circulating through all the plumbing in the house! It literally took about an hour of running all the showers and sinks to completely clear all of the CLR from the plumbing. All that wasted water! AND I had to hire a licensed plumber to come out and check the system again. This plumber said he never uses CLR because it is too toxic. He also said that if CLR is used, the isolation valve on the heater MUST be used, and a thorough rinse of the water heater has to be done. Because CLR is so caustic to your skin and very poisonous if consumed, he recommended uses either vinegar or a dilute citric acid solution to flush the heater, INSTEAD OF CLR, just in case a little is left in the system. There are also many commercial, tankless flushing products on the market now that are not caustic. I also found out that the guys who came out were not even plumbers, they were ""technicians""! I will say that, in their favor, they acknowledged their failure and apologized, but no one from their management has called me about a refund of my $249. I have called my credit card company and reported them for failure to provide adequate service.
