Right away we could tell the experience with Tampa Bay Plumbing was going to be great. First contact with calling them, they were so helpful and informative and offered availability within 24 hours - we weren't going to be home for a couple of days so we scheduled it 2 days out. We had received a call the day before our appointment letting us know there were morning appointments available if we were interested to have someone come out sooner, which we thought was great service! We kept our original time and first thing in the morning we got a call from the plumber Anthony, giving us his ETA. He was punctual, friendly and positive and confirmed what we needed checked. Our garbage disposal had completely stopped working and had to be replaced. He wasn't pushy about the estimate and replacement and he gave us time to decide if we would proceed. We approved the estimate and he got to work immediately- he was in and out within 45 minutes. Additionally, Anthony had come back within two minutes of leaving just to double check he didn't leave any mess or wet surfaces - he hadn't, but it was very nice to see he wanted to ensure the quality of his service. Super friendly staff that answers the phone and Anthony was punctual, very friendly, communicative and fast! We will be using this company for future plumbing needs again. Highly Recommend!

Nick, Jose and Royce were on site for 3 days lining our old pipes. They were awesome. Extremely professional and so hard working. My confidence in them and the company as a whole is very high. They explained everything to us every step of the way. They made sure that everything was working correctly before they left. They really knew their stuff. I would highly recommend them

I contracted Tampa Bay Plumbers to fix a sewer odor issue relating to a sump pump drain back in June 2021. Chris Grimes was the lead and said a repipe of the supply from service to all fixtures, plus a new sump pump and hydro-jetting all the lines would solve my odor issue. Chris said his proposal would take care of all the plumbing issues and quoted me $12,400, saying that I would not have to worry about any plumbing issues for a long time. It was appealing because my property was getting converted into an Airbnb so I wanted good reviews and zero plumbing issues. TBP is a big local company with good reviews and its company website so I thought I was in good hands and could finally resolve this sewer odor problem once and for all. I was so wrong. After multiple delays (non-weather related) and back and forth fixing and refixing, the sewer odor issue never went away. In fact, it got worse. The odor was initially coming from the small bathroom and the laundry room. After TBP tried everything, the odor started to come out from the master bath and kitchen! This dragged on for over 6 months and Chris became unresponsive. This significantly affected the newly launched Airbnb business, resulting in multiple negative reviews due to the unresolved odor issue. I had to escalate this issue and finally the owner, Ryan Pelky, and Cyndy Izquierdo, the Operations Manager, got involved in Jan 2022. Ryan apologized and agreed that Chris made a mistake in his diagnosis. He went to mhy property to inspect and was confident that he could resolve the sewer odor problem this time. Oh, wait, he said I had to pay more to solve the same problem I initially contracted TBP to do. What?! He offered to refund the sewer/drain related work from Chris's project and I would just be responsible for the repipe work. He agreed to reflect the refund/credit in a new proposal and would give me an almost at-cost deal for all the grievances caused. The new proposal was $4700 for a pump drain reroute and $7000 for adding vents through roof (VTR). Ryan said the drain reroute should solve over 90% of the sewer odor issue but need the VTRs to 100% resolve it. Um, why wasn't this proposed the first time?? Basically, Ryan is asking me to pay another $12000 on top of the initial $12000 from Chris's project, totaling $24000, to solve the SAME sewer issue I had initially contracted TBP to do. Wow. I've already lost my trust in TBP by then so I emailed Ryan and Cyndy to request the refund/credit to be applied to my balance instead so we can settle Chris's project first. The total credit Ryan offered totaled $6191. My TBP balance was $5000 which means that I should have $0 balance, plus a credit of +$1191. I said that I would like to use the $1191 credit towards the new proposal if I proceed with them because I was just not comfortable jumping into another $$$ project. I didn't proceed with them for obvious reasons. Ryan then sent me a letter completely changing what he promised via our phone call, saying that the refund credit was only applicable towards the next project. WHAT?? He basically lied and was forcing me to use his company again in order to benefit from the so-called refund. I couldn't believe that he was still asking me to pay in full for Chris's project when he had already agreed to offer a refund via our phone call on Jan 7th, Cyndy was on the line and heard it too. I responded right away and was holding them accountable for what was agreed over the phone and their own promise via their. Website, which advertises: """"With our 100% satisfaction guarantee, you can trust that Tampa Bay Plumbers can handle any plumbing service needed and do it right the first time!"""" In my case, it was not done right the first couple of times and satisfaction is close to 0%. I asked them to uphold their promise of a refund by issuing the refund. This was back in Feb 2022. I didn't hear back from them until recently (July 2022). Their collection department kept calling me. Each time I explained the situation and the lady said a manager would call me back. Nope. Never heard back. They just kept sending me invoices. I finally had enough and filed a BBB complaint. I was shocked (and not so shocked) to see that their BBB rating has dropped to a F. I would suck it up and pay for the supply line repipe portion that didn't do anything to solve my sewer issues. TBP should do the honorable thing and uphold their promise of a refund instead of forcing me to spend more. And guess what? I later found another plumbing company and the owner Sam immediately pointed out the pump drain problem and gave me a $2000 proposal to reroute the drain line (the same work that Ryan proposed except he was charging me $4700 and called that an at-cost good deal to make things right). It only took Sam 1.5 days and the sewer odor never came back. Just unbelievable. TBP was charging me over $24000 to resolve this same issue that cost $2000...Unbelievable.

We live in Satellite Beach and were in need of replacing our cast iron pipes. When I called they told me a technician who handles that type of plumbing would call within 48 hours. I received a call from Jeff that same day. He asked me a number of questions and then told me he would be able to provide an estimate via e-mail. It was sent over that day along with an option for financing. We had a few questions and he responded the next morning, e-mailing and calling us. He was very professional and not pushy at all. Over the course of a couple weeks we got quotes from another company and went back to Jeff and asked more questions, he was competent and confident they were the people to choose and was always professional. We ended up going with them and they were scheduled to come out a week and a half later. Their crew, Miguel, Carlos, Julien, and Dominic were very professional, hard working, and kind. They did everything we expected and communicated to us throughout the process. At the end of the job they provided us with a flash drive of the video that had before and after. After reviewing the videos we saw the after videos were two duplicates and the other side of the house was not shown. We called and they immediately worked with our schedule to come out and redo the footage and apologized for the inconvenience. Miguel came out two days later and spoke with us on how our pipes were laid out in detail, and provided us with the full footage, again, apologizing for the duplication. They were very easy to communicate and we appreciated how on top of the job they were. If you need your cast iron pipes redone, I highly recommend them.

My septic tank and drain field was overdue for repairs. Tampa Bay Plumbers came out when they said, gave a price (not a cheap job by any means) and contacted us when they would start the job. They require a down payment up front. Once they got all the tanks and other equipment, they arrived with a skid steer and excavator to start the dig. They finished the job in a resealable time frame and all county inspections were done. Except the last inspection was done by a ditzy person and forgot to turn in the inspection report. So now TBP have to back out to dig up the area for another inspection of the work. You just can't count on some people sometimes. It wasn't TBP's fault. They are being inconvenienced also! The work looks well done and I was about to plant some pretty flowers (only what is safe and recommended) on top of the drain field. I'm glad the error was found out before I did the plantings.

This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional companies we have ever worked with. The plumber that came to install a water heater in our house was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional on many levels. He told me that his daughter was promiscuous when she was young, and that he suggested his son-in-law watch pornography on the couch when he was not happy with the plumber's daughter. He took all day to complete a project that was supposedly a 3-4 hour job because as it turns out, he was not even skilled in this task. He grew frustrated when things weren't working and was cursing and grumbling while installing the unit. When he finally left he told me he was going home to get drunk. In addition to this, he left pieces of metal pipe in our yard, cigarette butts, trash in the gutter and yard that my husband had to clean up, screws and debris where he was installing the unit, and dented our dryer and doorframe. After all of this, our water heater still did not work. We had a total of 6 different plumbers come look at the unit. When the manager finally came out, he was an hour and a half late, without a phone call, and he admitted the company has been hiring mediocre employees and the plumber that worked on our house would no longer install water heaters and that they would fire him. They finally fixed the issue and told us they would refund some of our money due to our poor experience, but nearly three weeks later, we have been ignored after several phone calls, and in fact, they called telling us we owed them $50. Overall this has been a horrible experience and we are still waiting on a part for our water heater.

Another great job! Ben White did a superior job getting our kitchen sink hooked up again, installed a garbage disposal and a new dishwasher. Ben is courteous, professional and knowledgeable. We will continue use Ben and Tampa Bay Plumbers!

At the end of the day the never showed up to finish the job they promised they would do. They couldn't figure out how to get hot water in my bathtub in my 1/1.5 bedroom condo unit with a tankless water heater. Many units in my building have tankless water heaters and most are changing to them, no issues there. I personally know because I was the HOA president 2020 as well as part of the Construction Review Committee. I also made a formal complaint with the BBB.
