AR M.Michael Benson has been out to my house several times. He has provided exemplary service every time. He is respectful of my home and professional. He explains any plumbing issues in detail and answers any questions that I have. Tampa Bay Plumbers provides a great value and service while doing their work with integrity. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Tampa Bay Plumbers and will continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you Tampa Bay Plumbers!
This was the best plumbing company that I ever had. They were prompt, courteous, and great price. Their manager, Jack, checked in several times. My two plumber, Mike and Russell, were great. They took hours to figure out and fix a problem that no one else could for several years. I have already hired them for my other home plumbing issues. My only regret is that I did not find them sooner. Thank you so much, what a great blessing in these troubled times.
Worst experience ever - free estimate caused $850.00 of damage! I had a very small leak, at the slab level, and I selected Tampa Plumbers, based on great online reviews, to provide me with an estimate. I showed the technician the leak, told him about the temporary repair made with epoxy, and he went out to the truck to prepare an estimate. He came back in with a hammer and a chisel and said he wanted to check and see if e could see a sleeve on the pipe. I asked if he wanted the water turned on and he said yes. I tuned the water on and heard him yell OFF- OFF-OFF! so I turned the water off and came to see what was going on. Instead of a slow seeping leak there was water spraying out from a hole he had made a pipe with a chisel. I was dumbfound as I looked at the damage; he said he could fix it that day and would get me a quote. He returned with a @2,200.00 quote, (30%+ higher then another estimate I had) which I declined, and when asked how I could have water in my home he said, again, well you have to replace the pipe. I wasted several phone calls to their office, and hours waiting, but another tech never showed nor was any repair made. I had to hire another plumber, on an emergency basis, to repair the damage so we could have water in our house. After the repair we could turn the water on, and he used a leak detector to find the actual leak. Now for the ironic part, the legitimate plumber found the leak, on the opposite side of the bathroom and FIXED it for only $350.00 So - the $850.00 repair simply fixed the damage done by Tampa Bay Plumbers. Avoid the at all costs, there are lots of quality plumbers in Tampa; no need to use these clowns who puncture pipes and then give you a very expensive quote to fix the emergency they created.
Brian F.On time, friendly, Tavaris and his partner -- sorry, I'm horrible with names and I lost the card I was given -- completed job as requested. Third time I've used them and will call them again next time.
Michael did such a great job. I initially had called Tampa Bay Plumbers in install a vanity. I was really impressed by Michael's work, professionalism and how easy he was to work with so it only made sense to reach back out to finish the rest of the bathroom. It was such a big job and I have nothing but good things to say. Having dealt with a good number of local vendors I feel like I have finally found a company I can rely on. Great Job!
Karen D.We had a leak in our copper piping. Elmo clearly explained our options and the projected costs, then quickly set to work locating and fixing the leak. He was very professional and personable. We are highly impressed with his work. Tampa Bay Plumbers, you have a gem in Elmo. Don't lose him!
Because my septic tank was full, I hired Tampa Bay Plumbers, LLC on August 5, 2020. The company representative, Mikayla, told me that they would charge $250.00 to drain the septic tank. The company sent a technician to my property and charged $250 from my credit card. The technician also told me the drain system needs to be replaced and that he would get his manager, Jeff Lookler, to give me an estimate. After the technician allegedly drained the septic tank and left, the problems became much worse. The toilets stopped flushing, and water was backing up into the bathtub. On August 12, 2020, I called the company again to perform the service I had already paid for, and their manager asked me to meet him the next day. On August 13th, when I met with him, he pushed very hard to sell me the drain system again and refused to drain the tank. He asked me to pay $12,100 to replace the drain system. When I told him I did not have that amount of money, he pushed me to get financing with them. It was clear to me at this point that they never wanted to drain the septic tank but instead were hoping to replace the drain system for $12,100. When I requested to just have the tank drained in order to get the toilets and bath working again, Jeff told me that I had to pay another $250 before he would work on it. I called their company on the same day, August 13th, to schedule a technician to drain the septic tank. Their finance person, April Diemer, forced me to pay $4033.33 deposit, which is 1/3 amount of $12100, stating that otherwise, they will do nothing for me even though I paid them the service fee for $250.00. On August 14, 2020, 12:33pm, Mikayla who is a representative of this company called me again (using the phone number 813-961-7808) and compelled me to pay them $4033.33, I hung up the phone as I was very scare with her voice. But, just 8 minutes late (12:41pm), I got another call from the number 813-299-1206, the man who called me said: he is the owner, and forced me to pay this amount immediately. I dropped the phone and stopped conversation with him as I was in a dangerous situation In conclusion, I have had a terrible experience with this untrustworthy company. I believe that they're strategy is to offer a lower cost service fee and not actually perform the service, with the ultimate goal of robbing unsuspecting people.
Ava W.I had a really short escrow and the inspector discovered a major waste line leak. Tampa Bay Plumbers LLC got out for us the next day to estimate and then scheduled the work for just a couple of days later. They were fast, efficient, effective and professional. This was on a triplex. They were also able to work with our tenants and were compassionate about having to pull the toilet and deprive them of their bathroom for a couple of hours. They did a great job. I'm very happy and would use them again.
I drastically needed my septic tank emptied as the toilets and shower were backing up and it was a weekend. Tampa Bay Plumbers made some changes and were able to get out to my house on a Sunday! The two gentleman who came out, Tavari & Rigo, were fantastic. They went the extra mile to make sure all was great with the septic, and cleared out the clogged pipe which was wonderful. These two were very professional, and that seems to be a rare thing nowadays with so many. I highly recommend Tampa Bay Plumbers, who obviously know what they are doing if they hire such great guys as these two. Thanks so much!! Roger N.
Kelsey D.Our first interaction with TBP warranted a 5-star review. We had a clog in our main line and Matthew did a fantastic job and was very quick to fix the problem. I must say, this review is NOT for Matthew, as he still deserves a 5-star review in my mind. This is for TBP themselves. After telling me three different times yesterday what time Matthew would be arriving, and me having to call them back to ask where he was (an hour after he was supposed to be there each time,) they finally asked at 5:45pm if he could just come the next day. He was originally supposed to be there right after 12pm. We wasted an entire day waiting around the house for him. Again, not his fault, but TBP's for not communicating with us or even calling to tell us he wouldn't be showing up. Here's the kicker; they promised we would be """"first on the schedule"""" this morning to right the wrongs of the previous day and that Matthew would be here between 8-10am. Guess what time it was when I finally had to call TBP myself and ask where he was? 10:46am. No text, no call. Once on the phone, a woman apologized and told me her boss """"rescheduled us"""" without her knowing. I'm infuriated that this is the second day in a row I've been lied to and shown that my business is not a priority in any way. Asked for a refund of the diagnostic fee and will not be giving them any more business. Again, I have to say, if this review was solely for Matthew, it would be a 5-star review.
